Most of you are probably already aware that our power grid has suffered attacks intended to do some serious damage or maybe even to take out our system. Just another way that this world we live in is not anything like the world in which I grew up.
Truly the world is being traumatized, over and over again. Hit with so many disasters and other frightening events and situations. Floods, Famines, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Volcanoes, Massive and even Multi Funneled Tornadoes, Sinkholes, Mudslides, Animal Attacks, Violence in the Streets, Sex Trafficking, Gang Activity, Drugs, War, Threats of War, Food Shortages, and the list goes on. I have to tell you people none of this is normal, or naturally occurring. Nor is the result of regular human activity.
Now, let me say that whether it is the work of evil men or even of fallen angels, or it is the result of sin and is God’s Judgement on the Earth, GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL. Nothing happens unless HE allows it. So, there is nothing to fear, except being without God’s protection.
There are some very scary times ahead. We will see a lot of disease, suffering, famine, suffering, starvation, cannibalism, zombies, violence, and death. BUT, there is no room for FEAR!! Fear is of the Devil, it is the opposite of FAITH. FEAR will come knocking on your door. Your carnal mind and heart will be tempted to give in to it. EVENTS like those mentioned here will stir up fear in you. That is natural and you are not responsible for the Fear that you feel. What you are responsible for is YOUR REACTION to FEAR. It is a choice. YOU MUST CHOOSE not to allow FEAR to rule your heart and mind. When FEAR comes, give it to the LORD. Give the DEVIL NO PLACE. Call on your Heavenly Father, in FAITH. Speak to your circumstances and acknowledge God’s WORD. God honors FAITH. The Battle Belongs to HIM. Psalm 23 is an excellent scripture to memorize. Get it deep inside you so that when you find yourself in Fearful circumstances, it just flows out of you naturally.

PJM Interconnection, the largest U.S. power grid operator, faces a serious shortfall in electric generating capacity in coming years as traditional generator retirements outpace additions, according to a new analysis it published this week.
The grid operator forecasts nearly 40 GW of its generating capacity will retire by 2030, representing 21% of the service area’s total capacity, with 90% pf planned retirements in coal and natural gas.
Meanwhile, PJM expects no more than 30 GW of additions over the same period, and as few as 15 GW in its “low entry” scenario.
PJM serves more than 65M consumers between northern Illinois and the Atlantic coast, including all of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Other grid operators, including the neighboring Midcontinent Independent System Operator, face the same potential capacity shortfalls as utilities retire more fossil fuel generation.
Regulators at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation also have warned against retiring traditional generation sources too rapidly or else risk running significant shortages, which could lead to more frequent blackouts in extreme weather.
Utilities are under increasing pressure from the Biden administration and some investors to phase out fossil fuels, with the aim of achieving 100% carbon-free electricity by 2035.

Last week, the EMP Task Force on National and Homeland Security issued a scary report on China’s ability to conduct an Electromagnetic Pulse attack on the United States. The key takeaway, according to Dr. Peter Pry, executive director of the task force, is that China now has super-EMP weapons, knows how to protect itself against an EMP attack, and has developed protocols to conduct a first-strike attack, even as they deny they would ever do so.
According to the Center for Strategic International Studies, China has the most active ballistic missile development program in the world, so this is doubly troubling. China used stolen U.S. technology to develop at least three types of high-tech weapons to attack the electric grid and key technologies that could cause a surprise “Pearl Harbor” attack that could produce a deadly blackout to the entire country.
Dr. Pry outlines how China has built a network of satellites, high-speed missiles, and super-electromagnetic pulse weapons that could melt down our electric grid, fry critical communications, and even takeout the ability of our aircraft carrier groups to respond.
EMPs are one of those things that many people think is fake, or over-blown, or a conspiracy theorist’s dream. But they are real. EMPs can be either natural, from things like extreme solar geomagnetic disturbances, or man-made like a large thermonuclear detonation or a cyberattack. If they are coordinated with physical attacks then things can get real dicey real fast.
According to the Commission, EMP effects represent arguably the largest-scale common-cause failure events that could affect our electric power grid and undermine our society, leaving it vulnerable on many fronts. About the only safe systems are nuclear reactors, both new and old.
High-voltage control cables and large transformers that control the grid are particularly vulnerable. Transformers weigh 400 tons, take two years to build, and cost $7 million apiece. We are already way behind in having backup transformers ready, so if many go out at once, we have a big problem just powering our country.

The phenomenon of a large electromagnetic pulse is not new. The first human-caused EMP occurred in 1962 when the 1.4 megaton Starfish Prime thermonuclear weapon detonated 400 km above the Pacific Ocean.
One hundred times bigger than what we dropped on Hiroshima, Starfish Prime resulted in an EMP which caused electrical damage nearly 900 miles away in Hawaii. It knocked out about 300 streetlights, set off numerous burglar alarms, and damaged a telephone company microwave link that shut down telephone calls from Kauai to the other Hawaiian islands.
And that was from 900 miles away.
On the natural side, in 1989, an unexpected geomagnetic storm triggered an event on the Hydro-Québec power system that resulted in its complete collapse within 92 seconds, leaving six million customers without power. The storm resulted from the Sun ejecting a trillion-cubic-mile plume of superheated plasma, or ionized gas.
Such storms occur every 60 years or so, and in 1989, we weren’t anywhere near as electrified and electronically interconnected as we are today, or as we will be in 30 years.
Solar events were considered the most likely EMP to occur. Until now.
According to Dr. Pry, a longtime expert on EMP warfare, China developed the weapons as part of its Total Information Warfare that includes hacking raids on computers, as is expected during the next presidential election.
Even more troubling, Dr. Pry found that China is eager to shoot first with “high-altitude electromagnetic pulse,” or HEMP, weapons launched from satellites, ships, and land.
“China’s military doctrine — including numerous examples presented here of using HEMP attack to win on the battlefield, defeat U.S. aircraft carriers, and achieve against the U.S. homeland a surprise ‘Pearl Harbor’ writ large — is replete with technical and operational planning consistent with a nuclear first-strike,” said Pry in his report.
Needless to say, we are not prepared for this.

Dr. Pry is trying to raise awareness of the possible threat posed by an EMP attack, either from a military foe or from a solar event. China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran are moving to build and deploy systems which can launch a nuclear weapon into the atmosphere to explode and disable electronics below, including flying aircraft.
A report done while Dr. Pry was a key member of a congressional EMP commission found that an EMP attack on the East Coast electric grid could lead to a huge number of deaths.
You might think that EMP is too farfetched to worry about. But you would be wrong. We have been learning in the information age that if it can be done, someone will do it.
The speed with which our information age is changing is paralleled by the speed with which our national digital organism can test and block the ever-changing gaps and vulnerabilities in our electronic shield.
Like a host adapting to new parasites, this is just a normal incident for an evolving society in a rapidly-changing digital environment that selects for a digital organism that viscerally understands the whole system and can use it to its advantage.
Societies with older systems will be at a dangerous disadvantage. The Universe does this all the time.
Sociologically, China seems to be moving into a more aggressive position globally, evidenced by their recent conflict with India and their aggression in the South China Sea with their east Pacific neighbors.
This may have been aggravated by China’s 1-child policy. Although the policy did reign in population growth (fertility rates dropped below two by 1990 and the present population is 1.3 billion), it gave rise to another problem – too few women.
Almost all cultures prefer a male as the first child and in China, the eldest male is expected to take care of his elderly parents. Therefore, the magnitude of female infanticide in China became astonishing in the decades between 1990 and 2010, when well over ten million female infants were killed. Only a relatively few found adopted homes in other countries.
China then changed to a 2-child policy, but the damage to an entire generation will not be so easily erased. The result was a skewed sex ratio in the generation born since 1980. Today, there are about 50 million more males than females. Just think of the states of Texas, New York and Ohio filled with just men.
The consequences of having too many uncoupled males in a society are worse than just making it difficult to find a mate. Soon there will be a substantial deficit of younger workers to provide support to an aging population. By 2030, China will have over 400 million people over the age of 60. Maintaining sufficient economic growth under these conditions will be difficult.
Some research indicates that excess males to this degree tends to make a society more aggressive and nationalistic, both of which have risen dramatically in China.
Not coincidentally, China has rolled out a number of other new military capabilities, designed to protect their new expansionist future. Included in their burgeoning array is a new generation of nuclear submarines, a carrier-killing missile named DF-21D, intended specifically to destroy aircraft carriers, and new rocket launch vehicles, like the Long March 6 rocket capable of carrying 20 warheads, that just went into space last month to deploy 20 satellites in orbit.
While everyone points out that the United States spends more on its military than the next ten countries combined, it turns out that China is far and away number 2, spending a third of what we spend in dollars, but almost the same percentage of its GDP as we do.
So as the United States slips into chaos and ignores the global threats that still face us, China moves steadily forward with its plan to become the greatest nation on Earth.

Many are just now getting their power back on. Currently, law enforcement believes these attacks were intentional.
“It’s not just an inconvenience for preventing me from streaming my favorite show, you know. What’s it doing to that person that is on a dialysis machine? I mean, it could be life-threatening,” FBI spokesperson Steve Bernd said.
But North Carolina isn’t the only state dealing with substation attacks. In a recent memo sent out by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, there were reports of other physical attacks at substations in parts of Oregon and here in Washington.
In a statement, Puget Sound Energy confirmed two separate incidents at substations in November.
“We are aware of recent threats on power systems across the country and take these very seriously.
We are monitoring our infrastructure and can confirm we have had two incidents occur in late November at two different substations.
We can’t comment on the incidents because they are both an on-going investigation involving the FBI.”
Bernd told KIRO 7 that the FBI cannot directly comment on active investigations, but said this sort of attack is a serious matter.
“It’s something we want the public to remain vigilant to. It’s vastly important to everyone involved that our infrastructure is protected,” Bernd said.
Companies throughout Puget Sound emphasized the importance of strong security. Seattle City Light, which has over 450,000 residential customers, tells KIRO 7 every employee is trained on proper security protocol.
“That is very much ingrained into what everyone here at Seattle City Light does. Even myself who works in an office building, I have a security protocol that I have to follow,” said Seattle City Light media relations manager, Jenn Strang.
Strang said Seattle City Light works with a private security company when it comes to watching its substations. She also said Seattle City Light is constantly communicating with DHS and other agencies.
“We are constantly receiving alerts from the Department of Homeland Security and what we call NERC, which is the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, which is part of the electrical grid system for the nation,” Strang said.
But those who live near substations in town, like Casey Evans, believe security can improve — especially since Evans said there have been some dicey situations outside the substation off Denny Way before.
“That was actually shattered, the one with the patch on it. That was shattered from the gunshots for probably about eight months before they actually decided to fix it,” Evans said.
He hopes that after the recent attacks across the nation, power companies will keep their word and keep the grid running.
“But I know that living right next door to it, it’s an incredibly disconcerting and disheartening thing to think about,” Evans said.
“And we are making sure that our customers are safe and secure and that our grid is safe and secure,” Strang said.
Snohomish County Public Utility District declined an interview on this topic. However, it said that it had not received any recent threats or incidents at its substations. The district also stated that it has robust security, including cameras and mobile security patrols.
Anyone who sees any suspicious activity outside a substation should call 911 immediately.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal regulators on Thursday ordered a review of security standards at the nation’s far-flung electricity transmission network, following shootings at two electric substations in North Carolina that damaged equipment and caused more than 45,000 customers to lose power.
The order by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission directs officials to study the effectiveness of existing reliability standards for the physical security of the nation’s power grid and determine whether they need to be improved.
The order comes less than two weeks after one or more people drove up to two substations in central North Carolina, breached the gates and opened fire on them. Outages began shortly after the Dec. 3 nighttime attack and lasted several days before powers was restored to almost all households in Moore County four days later.
At least four electrical substations have been targeted in separate attacks in Oregon and Washington state since November, Oregon Public Broadcasting and other outlets reported. Attackers used firearms in at least some of the incidents, and some power customers in Oregon temporarily lost service.
Grid security experts have said the attacks demonstrate anew the vulnerability of the nation’s electric grid, which includes more than 50,000 substations and more than 700,000 miles of transmission lines.
While officials are likely to recommend changes such as high-definition cameras, 24-hour surveillance or opaque walls, “How are we going to pay for all the upgrades?” asked Christie, a Republican who has served on the panel since 2020.

The attacks against two power substations serving Moore County, N.C., on Dec. 3 has rightly triggered new concerns of behemoth proportion about security for this nation’s power grid.
But the Dec. 3 incidents also should resurface deep concern about how an electromagnetic pulse could inflict devastation in the United States — even more so than the kind of attack that immediately portended an extended period without full restoration of power for the North Carolina county just northwest of Fayetteville and Fort Bragg.
For many state and national governmental officials, the Moore County outage, perpetrated by gunfire from a person or persons described by the county’s sheriff as someone who “knew exactly what they were doing,” revived fears emanating from a similar attack in 2013 south of San Jose, Calif.
Those responsible for that sniper attack against a Pacific Gas and Electric Co. transmission substation still have not been apprehended, and with each passing month, it seems less likely they ever will be found and charged.
Meanwhile, a Dec. 4 article written by Bridget Johnson, managing editor for the publication Homeland Security Today, said “recent extremist materials have discussed and encouraged targeting critical infrastructure including cellphone towers, railways, the agriculture sector and more — but the greatest share of these public-facing infrastructure threats focuses on the power grid.”
When she wrote that article, Johnson only could speculate about the possibility that the Dec. 3 attacks were inflicted by domestic terrorists/extremists. However, a sobering point she brought up in that article was a 261-page handbook released by people she described as accelerationists — a handbook containing at least 45 pages dealing with attack threats, tips or encouragement directed at critical infrastructure sectors.
Her observation that “a determined adversary with insider knowledge as to what to shoot, and how to cripple components, is difficult to stop” should make Americans worry.
Last January, according to Johnson, who also is a terrorism analyst and security consultant, a Department of Homeland Security memo warned that domestic violent extremists including white supremacists and accelerationists were continuing “to aspire to attack the power grid utilizing encrypted messaging platforms and simple tactics that could make a plot harder to detect in the planning stages.”
Regarding the electromagnetic pulse threat, the United States learned much from its 1962 explosion of a nuclear weapon high above an atoll in the Pacific Ocean.
Worries of a similar nature should abound from the unconscionable Dec. 3 attacks and the daunting possibilities that they represent.
Federal officials issued a warning just days before the attack.
An attack that plunged tens of thousands of people in North Carolina into darkness has raised new concerns over a mounting threat posed by radical homegrown extremists declaring open war on the United States power grid.
But experts and former officials note that, despite a stated priority in combatting this threat, obstacles exist for law enforcement agencies in pursuing such measures against individuals and groups on U.S. soil.
In the lead-up to the midterm elections last month, Newsweek documented the digital dissemination of a wide array of plots, manuals and manifestos by domestic extremists seeking to incite acts of sabotage against energy sites nationwide, as well as recent real-life examples of such attacks taking place in various parts of the country.
I find it enlightening that our government and our military are fully tolerant and protective of MUSLIM TERRORIST TRAINING CAMPS fully functioning, training and perpetuating hatred toward our nation and our people, but they are constantly putting out propaganda against those in our nation who believe in GOD, the Constitution and the BIBLE. They call Christians TERRORISTS. They call Patriots TERRORISTS. AND they are constantly putting out lies and propaganda to make Americans see Christians, Republicans, Patriots, Farmers, and Preppers as dangerous enemies of the state!! I am not saying that there are not militant groups of Americans who might be plotting or perpetrating some of these acts. But, they do not represent all the groups I just mentioned. HATRED AND FEAR are tools of the devil. Don’t allow these things to fill your thoughts and hearts!
Now, a new incident has emerged in North Carolina, where authorities said two Moore County electricity substations were struck by gunfire on Saturday in what appeared to be a targeted attack against critical infrastructure. As blackouts persist alongside a curfew and state of emergency, law enforcement on the country, state and federal levels are all involved in the ongoing investigation.
But such probes often prove challenging. Though federal law enforcement often ranks the threat posed by domestic actors as even higher than that presented by foreign militant groups such as Al-Qaeda (AQ) and the Islamic State militant group (ISIS), agencies have a much more limited playbook available to deal with the issue.
“The difference between AQ and U.S. citizens who are white supremacists or who belong to domestic violent groups is that with an individual who is part of al-Qaeda there is a foreign connection,” one former senior law enforcement official told Newsweek. “That means we can bring a different approach.”
And there is a additional barrier for law enforcement.
“Meanwhile, a U.S. citizen, regardless of the racism or ideology they espouse, is afforded all the rights under the Constitution,” he added.
Mubin Shaikh, a counter-extremism and counterterrorism specialist who has testified on the matter before various bodies including Congress, the United Nations and U.S. military commands, explained how this has proven to be a blind spot for U.S. law enforcement.
“Without a domestic terrorism statute to treat these hostile actors in the way the government has dealt with Al Qaeda or ISIS,” Shaikh told Newsweek, “the full weight of U.S. law cannot be brought to bear in this setting.”
“This means that other groups, even state-backed adversaries, can draw inspiration from such tactics as demonstrated,” he added, “perhaps unwittingly by their domestic extremist compatriots.”
But Shaikh warned that this approach was far from ideal, and that a more aggressive strategy is warranted.
No, more violence and more usurping of our rights is not what is needed, what is need is more diligence and more moral conviction. What is needed is more godly police and military.
“We have to go after these groups in the same way we did AQ & ISIS,” he said. “I’m talking about infiltration operations, supported by strong prosecution and sentencing. The domestic counterterrorism lessons learned from the post 9/11 period must not be simply put to the side just because today’s perpetrators look like the majority demographic.”
The reason it is so hard to discern the true enemies within our nation is because we have allowed our nation to be flooded by illegal immigrants who have no vested interest in our nation and our values. The terrorists have been here recruiting and brainwashing Americans. And our government, our legal system and our civil servants have lost sight of what is right and good and no longer operate morally and ethically. We have been infiltrated and America is falling from within, JUST LIKE ROME!!
As has been the case with similar attacks in the past, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the Moore County substation shootings. Investigators have yet to establish any links to far-right ideologies either.
That is because there are no links to uncover. These acts are being financed, organized and perpetrated by globalists!
But tensions were high in Moore County even before the substation attacks on Saturday. Plans to hold a drag show at the Sunrise Theater in the town of Southern Pines that same day drew conservative backlash on social media as well as in-person demonstrations that included armed protestors donning military gear.
I will tell you, it is no wonder that protestors are beginning to carry protection, from the way they have been treated by law enforcement as well as opposition protestors they find it extremely dangerous to show up to make their voices heard. As Americans we have always had the right to demonstrate. To take to the streets to protest unjust treatment or speak up for what we believe to be right and truth. The violence that is being seen in our streets today comes from the LEFT. From radical, communistic, rebellious, intolerant, Satan worshipping, Christian hating pagans. After the lights went out on Saturday, Rainey took to social media to say, “I know why” the electricity went out. She then wrote that investigators from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office had visited her home but had “wasted their time” in doing so, as “God works in mysterious ways and is responsible for the outage.”
“I used the opportunity to tell them about the immoral drag show and the blasphemies screamed by its supporters,” she wrote. “God is chastising Moore County. I thanked them for coming and wished them a good night.”
Newsweek has reached out to Moore County Citizens for Freedom for comment, as well as the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and Public Safety Department, both of whom deferred to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
Major Andy Conway of the Moore County Sheriff’s Office told Newsweek that “all possibilities are being explored and investigated,” and that “no threats whatsoever were made prior to the incident.”
A spokesperson for the FBI told Newsweek that the Bureau “cannot comment” on “specific questions” regarding the ongoing investigation, but that “the FBI remains vigilant and works closely with our law enforcement partners on a daily basis to detect, disrupt, and dismantle any threats that may emerge.”
“As always,” the spokesperson added, “we ask members of the public to report anything they consider suspicious to law enforcement.”
A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told Newsweek that Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas “has been briefed on the outages impacting residents in Moore County.”
“DHS will continue to share information with the FBI, and state and local authorities as the investigation unfolds,” the spokesperson added. “CISA leadership and regional teams have offered support to Duke Energy as they work to restore service.”
CISA is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency established under DHS in November 2018 to shore up the nation’s digital and physical defenses in this field. Brian Harrell, who served as DHS assistant secretary for infrastructure protection and CISA assistant director for infrastructure security from December 2018 to September 2020, spoke to the efforts currently being undertaken by the department.
“All year, DHS has done a good job of telegraphing these types of attacks with relevant intelligence products,” Harrell told Newsweek. “Oftentimes the alert itself is not overly helpful, but you assume that they are seeing increased chatter and nefarious plans being hashed-out in discussion forums.”
He referenced the infamous yet still unattributed April 2013 attack that saw seemingly organized saboteurs open fire on a substation in Metcalf, California, as well as “what now looks like a coordinated attack on N.C. substations,” as “proof positive that domestic terror groups are intently looking at critical infrastructure as targets.”
“I suspect that we will not see a group come forward and take responsibility,” Harrell said. “If they stay underground, don’t highlight themselves, and don’t get caught, they preserve their ability to attack again.”
Speaking to reporters during a virtual press call Monday, White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby also addressed the attack, saying “local officials and specifically local law enforcement are getting federal support on the investigation.”
Kirby referenced President Joe Biden‘s previous remarks on “the resilience” of critical energy infrastructure, saying he has “made it a priority” to address the issue, “regardless of whether it’s from natural threats, or man-made threats.”
“We still have a long way to go,” Kirby added. “I think the president would be the first to admit that there’s a lot of work left to be done when it comes to infrastructure security.”
Kirby felt the government was on the path through initiatives such as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and that the administration would be keeping a close eye on the proceedings in North Carolina.
“The president is staying aware of this, everybody at the White House is,” Kirby said. “We’re going to continue to watch this investigation as it unfolds, support local law enforcement and local officials as appropriate and we’ll stay plugged-in on this as the investigation goes.”

Let’s not overplay this: There was no blackout, and it’s not even clear that it was a specifically targeted attack. But hackers did use firewall vulnerabilities to cause periodic “blind spots” for grid operators in the western US for about 10 hours on March 5. It’s the first known time a cyberattack has caused that kind of disruption—which, again, did not affect the actual flow of electricity—at a US power grid company. The incident was originally referenced in a Department of Energy report in April, but only in vague terms. A new North American Electric Reliability Corporation document described it in more detail, including the type of vulnerabilities that let hackers compromise the web portals in question. No need to panic about this incident specifically, but given the extent to which Russia and others continue to probe the power grid, it’s an unsettling reminder that weaknesses are out there.

Through public records requests, Motherboard has determined that when you give your name and address to the DMV, some of those agencies will sell it to private investigators. Several DMVs told Motherboard that at least they don’t also sell user photos and Social Security numbers, which, thanks? But they do sell records for as little as a penny. According to court documents uncovered at Forbes, federal investigators have requested that Apple and Google turn over information about people who downloaded a gun scope app Obsidian 4. That’s at least 10,000 on the Google Play Store alone. It’s part of a broader look into potential breaches of weapons export regulations, but privacy advocates have raised understandable concerns over the many thousands of totally innocent people who would be caught up in such a sweeping request.
