YOU CANNOT LOVE GOD and hate his Chosen People. There is no such thing as REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY. If you believe that somehow the Jews have been rejected and replaced, than you do not understand GOD and His WORD. If you do not understand the WORD, than you do not know JESUS CHRIST/Yashuah HaMaschiach, because HE IS THE WORD.
The Jews do not understand the plan of GOD, and it seems the Christians are not doing much better. Sadly, the so called “Christians” should not have any reason to be ignorant. They have the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Gift of the HOLY SPIRIT, the fellowship with GOD the FATHER that was purchased through the sacrifice, and they have the WORD Old Testament and NEW. Not to mention the life the Jesus lived out in front of us and His teachings to explain how GOD works and His awesome plan.
The JEWS did not have all that. Not only that, GOD has kept them blind. So, they are not held responsible. What is your EXCUSE?? God has them blind for OUR SAKE. How is that fair?
Anyway, my post today is not to lecture so called “Christians”. My point is that GOD’s hand is on ISRAEL. We are LIVING IN THE END TIMES. It is time to keep your eyes on the FIG TREE. What happens in the Middle East today is VITAL to your future.
I don’t understand why people don’t recognize that GOD IS IN CONTROL. That is not just a great inspirational catch phrase. That is not just a warm, fuzzy sentiment. That is not a delusion. GOD IS IN CONTROL, AT ALL TIMES OF ALL THINGS. Whether we want to believe it or NOT!
There would not be a State of Israel, if GOD did not allow it. He not only is allowing it… HE ORDAINED IT and HE ORCHESTRATED IT. There will be a TEMPLE BUILT. Whether you think that is proper or not. Why, BECAUSE GOD’s WORD SAYS IT! Yes, GOD will build THE FINAL TEMPLE. But there will be a Tribulation TEMPLE. Get OVER IT. And there WILL be sacrifices. I don’t understand why. BUT GOD SAID IT, SO IT WILL BE SO.
THE LAND WE CALL ISRAEL, IS GOD’s LAND. HE CHOSE THE JEWISH/HEBREW PEOPLE and GAVE THE LAND TO THEM FOREVER. You do know what “forever” means…right?
As far as God is concerned, there is no question about to whom the land belongs. It is His land, and He gave it to the Jewish people for an everlasting possession.
He has given other lands to other peoples. “And He made from one every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times, and the boundaries of their habitations.” (Acts 17:26)
It is God who determines what land belongs to what people. The God of Israel has spoken very clearly about the land of Israel. Rock of Israel Ministries

HIS thoughts are NOT OUR THOUGHTS. HIS ways are NOT OUR WAYS. We do not understand everything in the WORD. Anyone who thinks they do, is delusional. We understand what GOD wants us to understand, WHEN He wants us too. That is a fact. And, that is on an individual basis. The hand does not need to know how the heart works, but they both need to work. The lungs don’t understand how the brain works, but they both need to work. We don’t understand any more than what we need to or desire too. God gives us what HE thinks is best for us to know. HE has the WHOLE/ENTIRE Picture. Beginning to END. He HOLDS EVERYTHING TOGETHER. HE makes EVERYTHING WORK. HE is completing what HE PLANNED before a single WORD was spoken to bring us into existence.
This is a time when you better focus in as much as you can on YOUR RELATIONSHP with HIM. It is going to be a bumpy ride. One for which there is no other way to prepare. Sure, you can store food and water and some way to stay warm and dry… but even that can be taken from you. GOD is all that you have. You had better learn to listen to HIM and TRUST that HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. Whether you do or not!
This article is about the COMING 3rd TEMPLE, and so much more. It should help you get a clearer picture of where we are in God’s Plan, and what is happening in the World Today.

To the Lovers of Zion and Israel:
Prayers and Blessings From Gershon Salomon, the Faithful Movement, and the People of Israel That the Almighty G‑d of Israel Will Save and Protect Everyone From the Contagious Coronavirus.
From Zion, the Holy Hill of G‑d in Jerusalem, our eyes are lifted to our Father in heaven praying that He will stop this epidemic that has attacked His creation, killing men, women, and children.
From the location of the Holy Temples of the G‑d of Israel on the Temple Mount, we are calling and pleading with the G‑d of mercy to stop the devil from achieving his terrible goal: “Please, Almighty G‑d, do not allow him to hurt and destroy what You created with so much mercy and love. Please, send the light of the sun and hope to shine through You on the many families that have been destroyed by Your enemy. You are the G‑d of mercy and only You can say to the devil ‘Take your hands away from My creation!’ Our Father in heaven, our eyes are lifted to You with prayers to heal all of those who have been hurt by this dreadful corona sickness. Heal all of us. By Your healing, we shall be healed and saved from a terrible destiny. Save us from this most vicious disease and we shall be saved. You are our glory and the source of our hopes. Protect us and we shall be protected by You. Bring complete healing from this awful sickness that does not stop beating us. Amen.
We are calling every one of you to pray this prayer often, even daily, and G‑d will answer as He promised in His Word: “When you will call to Me, I will answer you. Together with you, I will be with you in trouble and I will save you and honor you.” (Psalm 91:15)
Dear Friends, we want to say: Be Strong! From Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the G‑d and people of Israel, we are together with you, hugging you, and strengthening you. We feel the time of salvation is behind the door and soon to come. From Jerusalem, we pray for you the priestly blessing: “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-
26). We shall continue with these prayers for you permanently. We know that salvation is soon to come in abundance.

The Cornerstone Is Ready – Temple Mount Faithful
Also the Exciting Story and Godly Mystery of the First Cornerstone Since the Year 70 CE That Was Prepared and Taken to the Holy Temple Mount on Sukkot in the Year 1989-1990.
The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement was founded in the year 1967 after the godly and miraculous Six Days War in order to answer the call of the G‑d of Israel to His people to build the Third Holy Temple on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem with no delay. The victorious war brought the liberation of the Holy Temple Mount by the G‑d and people of Israel and proclaimed G‑d’s expectation that the time for His people Israel to rebuild His Holy House was at hand! The rebuilding of the Holy Temple will allow the people of Israel to fulfill the call of G‑d to be ‘a kingdom of priests, a holy nation and a light to the nations‘ (Exodus 19:5, 6; Isaiah 42:6; Isaiah 49:6). The Faithful Movement has conducted many activities in order to achieve this goal. One of the most important activities of the Faithful Movement that began in the year 1990 and continues until today and will continue in the near future was the preparation of the cornerstone to be laid on the Holy Temple Mount in the same location as the First and Second Holy Temples, which will start the major process of the building of the Third Holy Temple. It was an act that opened a new age in the end-time history of Israel and the entire world. When this major project of the Movement is completed by the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, it will change the face of all humanity when G‑d reigns from Jerusalem and His Shekinah (divine presence) will affect all mankind and the world with His just and moral standards and the right way of living for every human being.

The Presence of God in the Six Day War
I have often heard people comment that if they had lived in “Bible times,” it would be easy to believe in and obey God. It has been my experience that these people have failed to observe the many things that God is doing in their own generation. Many Bible prophesies have been fulfilled in the last century, unfortunately, few have realized their fulfillment because of their preconceived concepts, taught to them by Western “Pagan-based” Christianity.
IF YOU HAVE EYES TO SEE…then see!
Modern Miracles!
The tenuous nation of Israel stands on alert and the brink of despair. All is quiet. Only a recognized entity for 19 years, the country faces not one, but four well supplied enemies. Outnumbered and under equipped, government estimates of causalities range from 10,000 to total annihilation. The day is June 5th, 1967.
Opposing the small nation is a sizable coalition of forces, supported and supplied primarily by the USSR and Britain. This combined army stands strong at roughly 465,000 troops, 2,880 tanks and 900 aircraft compared to Israel’s 264,000 soldiers (of which 200,000 are reservists), 800 tanks, and 300 aircraft. (Israeli History, Six Day War). Days before the war, President Nasser of Egypt declares “The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are poised on the borders of Israel…to face the challenge, while standing behind us are the armies of Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, Sudan and the whole Arab nation. This act will astound the world. Today they will know that the Arabs are arranged for battle, the critical hour has arrived. We have reached the stage of serious action and not declarations” (Liebler, p. 60)
Israel’s one hope, its allies the United States and Britain, stay out of the conflict in both military might and support due to conflicting interests in the middle east and the stigma of the Vietnam war. To make this clear to the world, the US state department declares “Our position is neutral in thought, word and deed” (AP, June 5, 1967). Planning for the worst case scenario, Israel begins to convert its national parks into mass burial grounds and school children dig sand to protect their homes. The UN removes its troops from the Sinai and Israel stands alone.
This tense moment leads up to one of the most amazing victories even perpetrated, but why and how was God involved in this conflict? To answer that question we must look at the Bible and see what the future is for Jerusalem, the land of Israel, and the Jewish people as a whole.
Jerusalem and the surrounding area is the setting for much of the Bible. Most importantly, it was built by God’s favored and appointed ruler, King David, who allied the previously scattered 12 tribes under the united nation of Israel. The city is also the home to the first temple, built by David’s son Solomon. Thus, history and ancestry strongly connect the Jews to the area, as David and all his descendents are from the tribe of Judah. What connects Christians is that Jerusalem will be the future home of the most important Jew ever born, Jesus Christ, who will unite the tribes and the whole world under his rule and will build a temple that will NEVER be destroyed. This will represent the spiritual building of Jerusalem and the temple, just as David and Solomon fulfilled the physical building. Matthew 5:34 states that Jerusalem will be the “city of the Great King”, referring to Christ and this spiritual kingdom he will build there in the end days.
JUDAH STILL IDENTIFIED AS GOD’S PEOPLE! The Sabbath Covenant
The historically undisputable fact is that Judah has retained the seventh day Sabbath to this day, and are the most faithful observers of the Sabbath on the face of the earth! Will you be honest enough to take almighty God at His word, that keeping the Sabbath is the identifying sign between people that keep the Sabbath day and God their CREATOR. To deny this is to deny God’s covenant promise to all true Sabbath keepers.
“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” Exodus 31:16-17
While the Jews do not now recognize Christ as their messiah, it is not because they refuse to, its is because they have been blinded by design. When Jesus says “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do, (Luke 23:34) he is not addressing those specific men who executed the son of God, but all Jews that did not recognize Jesus as the messiah and do not acknowledge him to this day.
Jesus Christ is making the statement that the Jews would not be condemned for the horrible sin that they had unknowingly committed. Because their refusal of the true messiah is all part of the plan set by Christ and God the Father since the beginning of creation (someone had to kill Christ), Judah still is identified as part of God’s people, and qualifies to receive aid from heaven when God wills it. The Bible makes it even more apparent that God has a special plan for Judah in the last days. Judah’s state of being, which obviously hasn’t happened yet, is described in Genesis 49: 8-12.
“Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you. You are a lion’s cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness – who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his (JESUS CHRIST).”
This leads us back to the setting of 1967 and the Six Day War. As we know, Israel is not destroyed by overwhelming odds. Instead, in a matter of six days, facing four competent enemies, the small nation miraculously quadruples its land and retakes many holy sites including Jerusalem and the temple mount. Israel reports 760 casualties, while the Arab deaths hover somewhere around 18,000 men (Bard, 1967 War). The conflict is filled with many first hand accounts of awe-inspiring happenings that are hard to explain even today, and bring to mind the scripture in Jeremiah 30: 16-17:
“But all who devour you will be devoured; all your enemies will go into exile. Those who plunder you will be plundered; all who make spoil of you I will despoil. But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.”
Even today, and especially in 1967, this scripture personifies how much of the world hates the Jews and all the rest of the tribes. They secretly detest God’s people and especially envy Judah because they have been visibly blessed and protected by God. This is obvious when you see many of the miracles performed, that as a whole, cannot be explained by an other logical force than God’s protection of his people and of his holy land.
One of these notable occurrences happens during the capture of the Arab city of Shechem which has been very important to Jews and Christians alike. This city is where God promised Abraham the land before him, the place where Joseph, the father of Ephraim and Manasseh is buried, and the place where Israel would go to accept their kings (Geographical Significance, p 2). Israel is prepared for a bloody and long battle when approaching Shechem. The city is heavily guarded and filled with tens of thousands of inhabitants, all prepared to fight occupation. According to Colonel Uri Banari the army was very surprised when instead they walked into the city unharassed. “At the entrance to Shechem stood thousands of Arabs who waved white handkerchiefs and clapped their hands. In our naiveté, we returned greetings and smiles. We entered the town and wondered: We are advancing and there is no disorder, no panic, the local armed guards stand by with rifles in their hands keeping order, and the crowds are cheering. Suddenly something happened which changed the entire picture in a moment. One of our officers wanted to disarm an Arab guard. When the latter refused, our officer fired a shot in the air. At that moment, all the crowds disappeared and streets emptied out. The Arabs began sniper fire…Only later, did I understand. The residents of Shechem thought that we were the Iraqi forces who were due to arrive from the direction of Jordan. The numerous enemy tanks were (uselessly) situated on the other side of Shechem. They woke up to their error too late” (Eye Witness accounts, Israeli National News).
In other towns, the same interesting pattern followed. Towns that should have take long bloody days to conquer fell in hours. Arab soldiers, veterans of other wars, simply dropped their weapons and ran. “The Arabs were surprised; the fear of the Jews fell upon them. In Hevron, and in Shechem, in Jenin and in Jericho the Arabs were heavily armed. There was not even one small Arab village without arms. With great haste, the Arabs, however, hid their weapons and didn’t consider using them. They raised their hands up, and flew white flags of surrender from every edifice. The fear of G-d fell upon hundreds of thousands of proud Arabs, who were filled with hatred and loathing for Israel. Only yesterday, they had sworn to fight until their last drop of blood” (HaTekufa HaGedola, p. 452). The Israelis “approached the heavily defended Kusseima outpost. As the Israelis drew near, they heard massive explosions. When they arrived they saw that the Egyptians, for no apparent reason, had destroyed their equipment and abandoned the base! As the day continued, it became clear that the Egyptians were hastily abandoning many of their outposts, some with all their supplies left behind” (June 5, Chabad).
Another reason for such a quick defeat of the Arab force was air supremacy by Israel. Even though the Jews had many fewer aircraft, on the first day of the war they destroyed most of the Egyptian air force in less than twelve hours (Six Day War, Leeds). Yet the details on how this was accomplished are even more mysterious and interesting. On the first day of the war, “a Jordanian radar facility detected an unusually large number of aircraft heading towards the sea. The officer on duty immediately sent a message, “Inab,” the code-word for war, to Jordan military headquarters. The message was encoded and passed on to Egypt’s defense minister in Cairo. Miraculously, however, the Egyptian coding frequencies had been changed the previous day, and the Jordanians were not updated…Though Egypt had sufficient anti-aircraft ammunition to destroy all the attacking Israeli planes, miraculously, no order was given for these missiles to be launched” (June 5, Chabad). Thus the Israelis accomplished their air missions to destroy with practically no resistance after the first day.
In addition to the overwhelming fear by the Arabs, there are also many documented cases of large numbers of adversaries being inexplicably overtaken by just a few Jewish soldiers. In one such incident on the second day of the war, an Arab tank commander surrendered his obviously superior army to an Israeli force of 12 tanks. He later claimed that while only a few enemy tanks were present, a desert mirage made him see hundreds (The Six Day War: Recognizing the Miracle). Yisrael, a paratrooper sent to take the Tiran Straits recalls yet another incident. “The Israeli soldiers didn’t have to parachute out of the airplanes. They landed like spoiled tourists in the airport, because the Egyptian regiment which was on guard there fled before the Israeli trips were visible on the horizon. After landing, I was sent with another reserves soldier, an electrician, to patrol the area…(when) an Egyptian half track appeared before us filled with soldiers and mounted with machine guns on every side. We had only light weapons with a few bullets that couldn’t stop the half track for a second. We couldn’t turn back, so we stood there in despair, waited for the first shot, and for lack of a better idea, aimed our guns at them. But the shots didn’t come. The half track came to a halt, and we decided to cautiously approach it. We found 18 armed soldiers inside sitting with guns in hand, with a petrified look on their faces. They looked at us with great fear as though begging for mercy. I shouted ‘Hands up!’ …I asked the Egyptian sergeant next to me, ‘Tell me, why didn’t you shoot at us?’ He answered, ‘I don’t know. My arms froze – they became paralyzed. My whole body was paralyzed, and I don’t know why (Eye Witness accounts, Israeli National News).
Israel also found that the Golan Heights of Syria, once thought to be impossible to overtake, fell easily into their hands despite the difficult terrain and strong Syrian fortifications. One such account tells how “Commander Musa Klein’s platoon had only twenty-five men at his disposal (after significant troop losses). But they continued up the Golan heights. When they reached Tel Fakhr, Klein ordered his men to charge the position, unaware that it was one of the most heavily fortified Syrian positions. It had bunkers, trenches and a double row of wire; an arsenal of antitank guns, machine guns and 82mm mortars. The handful of soldiers were worse off than sitting ducks… Syrian Captain Ahmad Ibrahim Khalili gave his men instructions not to fire until the Israelis reached the wire. In no time at all, however, it was too late. In the Syrians’ own words: “The Jews are already inside and we’ve taken heavy casualties.” Commander Klein and his men were victorious, and continued up the Heights” (Israeli History, Six Day War). Even more incredible is the chronicle of Ammunition hill “which was captured by an Israeli scout by mistake when he accidentally fell into a Jordanian trench on a moonless night at 2:00 AM and started shooting from the hip.” Not only did this outcome seize the hill but was the critical event that lead to the capture of the old town of Jerusalem, including the wailing wall, only 30 hours later (Six Day War, Recognizing the Miracle).
There are many many more accounts to fill these pages, and perhaps one or two strange happens could be seen as chance. However, when we consider the sheer number of accounts of people who were able to succeed against a superior force against all odds or logic, it is at times overwhelming and suggests a miraculous nature. To demonstrate this point, think of one high ranking west point official who was asked why they do not study the tactics behind arguably one of the most impressive routes in history? He responded that “the US Military Academy studies wars fought throughout the world, they do not study the Six Day War because what concerns West Point is strategy and tactics, not miracles” (Six Day War, p2). Even historians struggle to explain the victory. As one secular newspaper said “Even a non-religious person must admit this war was fought with help from heaven” (Eyewitness Accounts, Arutz Sheva).
After all the amazing stories and evidence, one may still wonder why this is relevant to modern day Americans, who at times seem so far removed from the current nation of Israel? However the answer is quite clear. The Jews, be they a small group surrounded by hostile forces, are only a miniscule remnant of the 12 tribes and the only tribe who has not lost its identity. Because they obey God and have retained most of his laws (Sabbath observance, holy days, clean food, the laws of Moses) they have a special covenant to Jerusalem and God the Father that many Americans and people around the world have forgotten they possess. The Jews carry the lineage of the “Conquering Lion of Judah”, Jesus Christ and when Judah finally recognizes Christ, they will become one with him and the rest of Israel. Zechariah 12:8-13:1 describes the time when Judah will embrace Jesus Christ and accept him. “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spiritof grace and supplication. They will look onme, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo….On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.”
Because of this future repentance, which is already prophesied, Judah will continue to be blessed through Abraham’s physical inheritance, which has never been removed from them. It is important to remember however that the other 10 tribes are a part of that struggle and a portion of God’s people too. Eventually the Israeli people, including ALL 12 tribes, will be a united people standing as a clear example that heavenly aid and victory come to those that God has set his hand upon. It is not a Jewish battle, it is our battle, for the place that God himself will inhabit.
Do you have ears to hear?
This newsletter serves to inform the entire world about the cornerstone activities of the Faithful Movement during the last twenty-eight years during which the Movement has carried the historical cornerstone, again and again, in order to lay it on the Holy Temple Mount. In the near future, the Faithful Movement will continue her efforts and determination, in coordination with the government and the Knesset (parliament) of Israel, to lay the cornerstone and to start the process of rebuilding the Holy Temple. Today, the cornerstone is located in Jerusalem not far from the Holy Temple Mount in a historically biblical area and is ready to be moved by the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement to the Holy Temple Mount to start the rebuilding of the Holy Temple.
In the year 1989-1990, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement dedicated an initial cornerstone in order to immediately start the building of the Third Holy Temple on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem with no delay. It was the first cornerstone ever dedicated for the Holy Temple since the destruction of the Second Holy Temple in the year 70 CE. The Faithful Movement carried this cornerstone, weighing six-and-a-half tons, to the Holy Temple Mount in a very exciting and historical ceremony that was not seen in Jerusalem since the dedication of the First Holy Temple by King Solomon almost 3,000 years ago. Unfortunately, the government of Israel was not yet ready for such a major, revolutionary, and historic event. The government authorities gave us permission to carry the cornerstone only to the area of the southern gates of the Holy Temple Mount above the ancient City of David. We were forbidden to take the cornerstone inside the Holy Temple Mount in order to place it close to the ‘foundation rock’ on the Holy Temple Mount on the location of the foundation of the First and Second Holy Temples. The Supreme Court of Israel rejected our petition to locate the cornerstone inside the Holy Temple Mount. One of the judges asked Gershon Salomon, the chairman of the Faithful Movement: “Who anointed you to do this major event?” Gershon immediately replied to the judge: “The G‑d of Israel, the history of Israel, the Israelis of the generation of the destruction and also two hundred generations thereafter who were often times taken to their deaths with the Name of the G‑d of Israel on their lips and the deep desire in their hearts to see the rebuilding of the House of G‑d. Even our generation gives me the authority to build the Holy Temple of G‑d with no delay. One thousand nine hundred and twenty years of destruction, exile and waiting for this moment are enough! Now, we should fulfill the expectation of the G‑d of Israel for His people Israel to rebuild His Holy House with no delay in the lifetime of our generation”.
The story of this cornerstone has been very special, mysterious, and godly. It was the hand of G‑d that directed Gershon to a stoneworker in Jerusalem by the name of Ezra Alafi. This special man made aliyah (returned to his homeland of Israel) from the exile of Babylon, today modern Iraq. When the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement decided it was time to start the building of the Third Holy Temple, Gershon visited Ezra Alafi’s home in Jerusalem and asked him to contribute and prepare a large cornerstone, like the stones in the First and the Second Holy Temples. Upon hearing Gershon’s inquiry, Ezra almost fell from his chair. He could not even speak for some moments because of his great excitement and his eyes filled with tears. When Gershon asked Ezra why he was so excited, he answered: “My family members were workers of stone even before we were exiled from Jerusalem to Babylon. A tradition that has passed along our family from generation to generation says that my forefathers were the builders of the Second Holy Temple in Jerusalem and that we shall be the builders of the Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem as well. It is only the G‑d of Israel who brought you here to me in order to fulfill this historic message within my family. You are here at my home not by an accident.” At that moment Gershon’s eyes filled with tears and he found himself thanking the G‑d of Israel for this most incredible and godly experience that he would never forget for the rest of his life. For Gershon, this experience with Mr. Alafi was a remarkable confirmation that it is the G‑d of his forefathers who called Gershon to build His Holy Temple. Both Mr. Alafi and Gershon thanked G‑d from the bottom of their hearts for this major privilege and moment in their lives.
The next day Ezra Alafi went to his quarry in Mitzpe Ramon, located in the Negev Desert in southern Israel, to look for a special cornerstone and to prepare it for the Third Holy Temple according to biblical law. The biblical law prohibits the use of iron or any other kind of metal in the construction of the Holy Temple of G‑d. Again, in a very mysterious way, there became no need to prepare the special cornerstone. Mr. Alafi discovered a large natural marble stone covered with beautiful natural gold, ready to be the necessary cornerstone of the Third Holy Temple. It seemed like this stone, anointed by G‑d Himself, had waited one thousand nine hundred and twenty years to become the chosen cornerstone for the Third Holy Temple and the catalyst for the building of the Third Temple.
During the Sukkot Festival (Feast of Tabernacles) of that year, we carried the cornerstone on a truck in a very special ceremony that started at the western gate of the Holy Temple Mount and continued to the upper area of the City of David near the southern gates of the Holy Temple Mount. These gates were historically used by Israeli pilgrims to enter to the Holy Temple Mount for worship during the Sukkot Feast. Gershon anointed a high priest and several Levites to follow the cornerstone in order to anoint it. The Levites played biblical music and songs, especially from the Psalms. The cornerstone was covered by a chuppah made from Israeli flags showing the star of David. Gershon dedicated the cornerstone. It was during a similar festival of Sukkot that King Solomon dedicated the First Holy Temple in a very special ceremony not far from this exact location. From this place, King Solomon had taken the Ark of the Covenant from the tent of David and carried it to be placed in the Holy of Holies of the First Holy Temple. It is also incredibly exciting to know that some years after our event at this same exact place, the Israeli archaeologist, Eilat Mazar, discovered the historical and biblical palace of King David. Gershon recited the same prayer of King Solomon when he dedicated the First Holy Temple almost 3,000 years ago (I Kings 8:12-53). The Levites prayed and played music as they did in the Holy Temple. Gershon also prayed the Word of G‑d to our generation:
“Thus says the LORD of hosts; I was zealous for Zion with great zeal, and I was zealous for her with a great fury. Thus says the LORD; I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called the city of Truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts, the holy mountain … Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; and I will bring them in, and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they will be my people, and I will be their G‑d, in truth and in righteousness. Thus says the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, you that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, who spoke on the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, saying that the temple might be built … and will set my temple in the midst of them for evermore. And my dwelling place will be with them: and I will be their G‑d, and they shall be my people. Then the nations shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel when my temple shall be in the midst of them for evermore.” (Zechariah 8:2,3,7-9; Ezekiel 37:26d,27,28)
Later the ceremony with the cornerstone continued down into the City of David to the pool of Hezekiah in order to conduct the traditional ceremony of the water libation with water that was taken from the pool to be poured on the altar and accompanied with prayers for a rain-filled and blessed winter in the Land of Israel.
After this historical ceremony, the cornerstone was taken to an area not far from the Holy Temple Mount to await the moment that it can again be taken to the Holy Temple Mount to be laid in the area of the First and Second Temples and start the process of the rebuilding of the Third Holy Temple. However, when the truck tried to unload the heavy cornerstone at that place, the driver could not do it. It looked like the cornerstone was refusing to enter this place. Suddenly the cornerstone fell down on the street and made a huge hole. We decided to leave it at that place temporarily so that everyone could see the cornerstone. On the following day, a description of the event of the dedication of the cornerstone was published together with its picture in all the headlines of the media in Israel and also in the international media. The cornerstone gained international recognition. After a few weeks, when we came to move the cornerstone and to place it in one of the central plazas in Jerusalem, we discovered the cornerstone had disappeared. We did not find it in the same location where it had fallen. We immediately began a search for what happened to the cornerstone. Ezra Alafi discovered that the stone had been moved by the municipality of Jerusalem to the same plaza that we had originally wanted to locate it. All of these events appeared very mysterious. When we found the government workers of the Jerusalem municipality, they shared with us even more exciting and mysterious information. They showed us a photograph of the cornerstone still laying on the street where it had fallen. On the photograph, they wrote, “This is a meteor that came from heaven.” They were sure that the cornerstone came from nowhere and that it could only be a meteor from heaven. They did not know that it is the cornerstone of the Third Holy Temple. The stone appeared to them so important, special, and mysterious that they picked-up the cornerstone and moved it to a particular plaza very close to the Old City of Jerusalem and the Holy Temple Mount. We became even more excited when we figured out that this was the exact plaza where we originally wanted to place the stone. We explained to the municipality of Jerusalem that this stone is the cornerstone of the Third Holy Temple that the Faithful Movement wanted to place on the Holy Temple Mount. The entire story about the cornerstone became even more mysterious and godly. The municipality asked to leave the cornerstone on ‘this plaza’. We immediately agreed with one condition: that any time that we want to take the cornerstone and move it to the Holy Temple Mount, we will be able to do it. They immediately agreed to this condition. They told us that it will be a great honor for Jerusalem and that this cornerstone will be located, in the meantime, on one of the central plazas of Jerusalem. Both of us knew and agreed that every event connected with the cornerstone since we initially came to Ezra Alafi was followed by the G‑d of Israel. We knew that the cornerstone was anointed and prepared by G‑d, not only to be the cornerstone for the Third Holy Temple, but even to be a call to His people Israel that it is time to build His Holy Temple on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
This first cornerstone since the destruction of the Second Holy Temple in the year 70 CE opened a new age in the history of Israel and even of the entire world. Every day people prepare cornerstones for buildings, but no cornerstone in the world besides this godly cornerstone for the Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem, could shake the earth and open a new major period in the life of mankind. One cornerstone in Jerusalem for the Third Holy Temple did it! The world media came to Israel in order to cover this extremely major event in the history of Israel and even in the history of the whole world. Religious, political, and cultural leaders and major figures from throughout the world came to be witnesses of this event. They met with the chairman of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement, Gershon Salomon. They blessed him, the Faithful Movement, and Israel. They shared with Gershon that the cornerstone and the soon building of the Third Holy Temple have finally shown the world that G‑d never ever replaced Israel and that it is a critical mistake to think so. The rebuilding of the Holy Temple and the cornerstone confirm biblical prophecies and reveal that G‑d has a special plan for His people Israel to be a holy nation and a light to the entire world and that from Zion will go out the Word of the G‑d of Israel to all the world. Real peace will come to the entire world only when the Holy Temple is rebuilt and the Shekinah of the G‑d of Israel dwells in His Holy Temple on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem. G‑d will reign from Jerusalem and His Shekinah will cover all the earth like a great tower of light that will remove the darkness and will show the moral and godly way of life to every human being.
The event of the cornerstone started the fulfillment of the end-time prophecy of Isaiah and Micah:
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the G—d of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for from Zion shall go forth Torah, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall decide for many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more…. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of Hosts has spoken it.” (Isaiah 2:2-4, Micah 4:1-4)
Since the year 1990, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement has conducted other events with special ceremonies to carry the cornerstone again and again through the streets of Jerusalem. The cornerstone is always welcomed with great excitement and inspiration by the Israelis and foreign visitors alike. The cornerstone is presently located on a very special and historically biblical hill. On this hill was discovered, and not by accident, the tomb of the last king of Israel, Antigonus, who was crucified by the Romans. On this hill was also discovered the tombs of two high priests who served in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. From the present location of the cornerstone, the Holy Temple Mount and the exact location of the Holy Temple are seen very clearly. The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement will continue even more intensively with her holy work to build the Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem. The day is soon to come!
The project of the cornerstone for the Third Holy Temple asks from us many additional expenses. Our plan is to continue to prepare additional stones for the Holy Temple. These preparations for the building of the Third Holy Temple cannot and should not stop. Unfortunately, we have not the necessary funds for the task of preparing more stones for the Third Holy Temple. Your help can save the situation and at the same time, it will give you the opportunity to participate in the important next phase of preparing additional stones for the Third Holy Temple. This is an urgent call to everyone to help and to stand with us in order to bring to pass this holy project.

Open “Golden Gate” For Messiah…Now
The Temple Mount Faithful’s Declaration to the Government of Israel: “Open Immediately the Historical Golden Gate (Eastern Gate of the Temple Mount), the Gate That Messiah Ben David Will Enter to the Holy Temple Mount!”
“Excavate the ‘Mysterious Hill’ Along the Eastern Wall That Holds Exciting Remains From the Holy Temple That the Muslims Threw Out From the Holy Temple Mount Including the Temple Altar.”
Golden Gate – Jerusalem
The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement sent a declaration to the government of Israel calling the government to open the Eastern Gate (Golden Gate), the most important of all the gates of the Holy Temple Mount. This gate was called the “Golden Gate” because it was made from pure gold and was donated by the Jewish community in Persia.
What was so unique about this gate is that it was used during the worship in the Holy Temple. Each day in the early morning, rays of sunlight came from the east, from the top of the Mount of Olives, through the Golden Gate directly into the gate of the Holy Temple and the Holy of Holies. This was the moment that the priests started the morning worship service in the Holy Temple. It was one of the most exciting daily events during the time that the Temple existed. It was such an inspiring experience that moved and touched the hearts of the priests and Levites who saw the beauty of the creation coming through the Holy of Holies.
This is one of many experiences that took place in the Holy Temple that the Faithful Movement has dedicated herself, her campaign, and her work to renew in our lifetime and that the G‑d of Israel is expecting us to do. Since the destruction of the Holy Temple in 70 ce until today, the Jewish people have prayed to the G‑d of Israel: “Please renew our days as in the biblical times.”
Since the destruction of the Holy Temple, the Jewish people throughout the Diaspora have prayed for the coming of Messiah Ben David, the messenger of the G‑d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the G‑d of Israel and the universe. The message and tradition that has passed from generation to generation until today is that Messiah Ben David will come and enter the Temple Mount through the Eastern Gate (Golden Gate) after the people of Israel rebuild the Holy Temple.
During the centuries after the Arab Muslims occupied Jerusalem and the Holy Temple Mount, they removed all the remains of the Holy Temple and threw them along the outer side of the eastern wall of the Temple Mount. Until today, we can still see the elevated mound of earth which covered most of the original stones of the First and Second Temples. The long mound along the outer eastern wall of the Holy Temple Mount also covered the Eastern Gate (Golden Gate). The goal of the Muslims was to cover the original Eastern Gate with this mound of earth and to prevent the coming of Messiah Ben David who will redeem Israel even from the Arab occupation. The Muslims also established a cemetery along the eastern wall that blocked the Eastern Gate (Golden Gate). With the specific location of this Muslim cemetery, they were sure that they would prevent the coming and entering of Messiah Ben David to the Temple Mount. This Arab act represents the stupidity of Muslims’ behavior. They were sure that by this they will avoid the coming of Messiah Ben David. They believed that the Jewish Messiah will be a priest and that they could prevent him from crossing the cemetery as it is forbidden for priests to do so. However, all these activities were evil deeds that desecrated the Holy Temple Mount and its eastern wall and its holy gate.
What is so exciting about the mound of earth along the outer Eastern wall of the Holy Temple Mount is that important remains from the Temple and from the vessels used in the temple service were buried there. The destroyed temple altar and other holy items are quite possibly located in the mound and could be used in the Third Holy Temple. These holy items could shed significant light on the Holy Temple and the temple worship practiced during the First and Second Temple periods.
The removal of the Arab cemetery and the excavation of the mound of earth should have been one of the first tasks and activities of the Israeli government after the liberation of the Holy Temple Mount and Jerusalem by Israeli forces in the 1967 Six Days War. This should become the urgent goal of the government of Israel, today, to save the holy remains. The gates of the Holy Temple Mount, especially the Eastern Gate (Golden Gate), should be opened to welcome Messiah Ben David.
The Faithful Movement is calling the government of Israel, not for the first time, to excavate and to remove the mound of earth to recover the important remains of the Holy Temple that were buried there. The Eastern Gate (Golden Gate) should be opened, with no delay, as the first act toward the building of the Third Holy Temple in our lifetime. This is more urgent than any time in the past, especially at a time when the nations are again trying to take from Israel the Holy Temple Mount and make it an Islamic site. The activities of Jared Kushner, the chief advisor of President Donald Trump, to make the Temple Mount an Islamic site should be stopped. His plan to make the Holy Temple Mount a site for millions of Muslims to come from all over the Islamic world to worship on G‑d’s Holy Mountain should immediately be rejected. The opening of the Golden Gate would deliver a clear and resounding message to the entire world that never ever will the Jewish Temple Mount be converted to an Islamic site. The Holy Temple Mount and Jerusalem will never ever be an Islamic or any other foreign site. They are the heart, the soul, and the apple of the eye of the G‑d and people of Israel as they have been for thousands of years and will be forever.
For thousands of years and especially since the destruction of the Holy Temple in the year 70 CE, many foreign nations have tried to make the Holy Temple Mount their own center of worship. They built their shrines and edifices on the Holy Mountain of the G‑d of Israel. All of them were removed from the Holy Jewish Temple Mount. The nations and the powers that did so have disappeared from the stage of history forever. So, will be with the Islamic sites now. So, will be with the evil plan of Mr. Jared Kushner, who, as a Jew, knows very well what the Holy Temple Mount and the building of the Third Holy Temple mean for the G‑d and people of Israel. Such terrible and outrageous plans will be halted by the G‑d and the people of Israel and will be thrown in the garbage bin of history. The Third Holy Temple will be built by the G‑d and people of Israel whether the nations and the powers in the world want it or not. The history of Israel and the entire world is handled and directed only by the one Almighty G‑d of Israel and the universe. Our generation will witness and see with its own eye’s great wonders and how end-time prophecies become a living reality in our lifetime.
The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is dedicated to the great end-time redemption of Israel that will influence and benefit all mankind. The kingdom of the G‑d of Israel will return to the one and only place that the G‑d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob chose, the Holy Temple Mount and the Third Holy Temple. The Almighty G‑d of Israel will dwell ‘forever’ in the Holy Temple that Israel will build for Him exactly as it was prophesied by all the prophets of Israel, especially by the prophets Isaiah and Micah:
The Faithful Movement will continue her important work to bring it to pass in our lifetime, as G‑d is expecting us to do and the Almighty G‑d of Israel will be with us.
IN THE ALMIGHTY G‑d OF ISRAEL WE TRUST!!
The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is urgently calling to everyone in the world, especially to the Lovers of Zion, Israel, and her Faithful Movement to help the movement fulfill her historical godly goal. With G‑d’s divine help, the movement has entered her critical end-time stage, ready to achieve her major goal, and now we have not enough funds to fulfill our work. Please help us and sponsor us monthly if you can. What a major part you will have in this greatest project ever in the history of mankind. We deeply appreciate every gesture of your help and support: practical, spiritual, and financial. You remain in our hearts, prayers, and thoughts always. You will be greatly blessed by the G‑d of Israel and the universe, exactly as the prophet Malachi prophesied about our unique and critical time and about everyone who will help the Faithful Movement fulfill her greatest goal ever: The building of the Third Holy Temple in the lifetime of our generation with no delay!
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and put me to the test with that, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you blessing immeasurable” (Malachi 3:10)

Preparing for the Third Temple – Israel My Glory
Preparing for the Third Temple
The Rapture of the church is the next main event on God’s timetable of prophetic activities. No prophecies have yet to be fulfilled before the Rapture can take place. It is imminent; it can happen at any moment. In fact, nothing but the long-suffering grace and mercy of God prevents it from occurring right now.
However, though there are no signs for the Rapture, there is at least one major indicator it is close at hand. That sign is the status of preparations for the next Jewish Temple to be built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Rabbi Nachman Kahane, 75, a leading rabbi in Jerusalem, believes a Temple will be built on the Temple Mount in his lifetime; and he says everything is ready to build that Temple today.
The world has known only two Jewish Temples: The first, built on the Temple Mount by King Solomon, stood for 390 years before the Babylonians destroyed it in 586 B.C. The second, built after the Babylonian Captivity on the same site (Ezra 2:68; 6:7), stood for 585 years before being destroyed by the Romans in A.D. 70. The end-times scenario in God’s prophetic Word calls for a Jewish Temple to be standing when the Antichrist rules the world.
Rabbi Kahane trained everyone who leads the effort to rebuild; and it was his students who started the Temple Institute in 1987 in the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City. The Institute has trained men for Temple service and accumulated all the implements needed for a Temple, including the table of showbread, altar of incense, and golden menorah. The menorah, currently on display overlooking the Western Wall plaza in Jerusalem, is covered with 95 pounds of pure gold and reportedly is worth $2 million.
Many think the original menorah, a seven-branched candelabra, was carried off to Rome after the second Temple was destroyed because a carving on the Arch of Titus in Rome seems to display exactly that. The original menorah may still be in Rome. The Temple Institute has painstakingly reconstructed it.
In addition, the Temple Institute also believes it knows the location of the Ark of the Covenant, which was last seen in Solomon’s Temple. Two rabbis and a Jewish activist, all working toward building the third Temple, say they have been to the location. (See “Where Is the Ark of the Covenant?”)
Other Activities
Rabbi Yehuda Glick, chairman of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, leads Jewish tours onto the Temple Mount to increase familiarity with this holiest of Jewish places before the next Temple is built. He recently lead an educational tour of 10 Israel Defense Forces (IDF) paratroopers in what marked the first time uniformed IDF troops have been on the Temple Mount in a decade. Paratroopers, said Rabbi Glick, have a “special relationship” to the Temple Mount. They took that hill for Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War, which led to the reunification of Jerusalem.
Although the Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism, Jewish people are not allowed to pray there or go up in large groups because it is controlled by the Muslim Waqf. Israel gave the Waqf control as a gesture of goodwill after the city’s reunification in 1967.
Rabbi Glick is calling for Jewish people to unite and make every effort to visit this sacred location and focus on rebuilding the Temple. For a number of years, he directed the Temple Institute’s effort to get ready to rebuild.
Gershon Salomon’s Temple Mount Faithful have a cornerstone ready for when construction begins. It is said to have been consecrated with water from the biblical pool of Siloam and cut with diamonds.
Near Jericho in the Jordan Valley, a training center educates men who believe themselves to be from the tribe of Levi and the priestly family in how to serve in the next Temple. Over the past 25 years it has trained thousands from around the world.
Many of the priestly garments are prepared and in storage. Rabbi Kahane, who received the first set of priestly garments, has his hanging in his closet, ready to be put on in a moment’s notice. It took years of research to make these garments:
Special flaxen thread was imported from India and overseas travel was necessary to obtain the correct colors for the clothes, including to Istanbul, to purchase mountain worms from which the correct shade of crimson is derived. The secret of the correct shade of blue has been lost since the destruction of the Second Temple,…until the Ptil Tekhelet nonprofit organization identified it as the murex trunculus, aka hexaplex trunculus, the banded dye-murex found near the Mediterranean Sea.1
In addition, the 4,000 harps needed for the Levites to play the Temple music as called for by King David in 1 Chronicles 23:5 are close to being completed by the craftsmen at the House of Harrari.
Rabbi Yoel Keren believes the third Temple will be built following the details in Ezekiel 40—46; but first the Jewish people will construct a less extravagant structure, as they did when the second Temple was built 2,500 years ago.
What Lies Ahead
The end-times scenario in God’s prophetic Word calls for a Jewish Temple to be standing when the Antichrist rules the world. He will desecrate it, and the Jewish people will again be forced off the Temple Mount because they will remain faithful to God and refuse to worship the Antichrist (Dan. 9:27).
In His Olivet Discourse (Mt. 24—25), Jesus confirmed Daniel’s prophecy. He called the desecration the “abomination of desolation” and said it had not yet taken place (24:15). Someday Messiah Jesus will return to Jerusalem and build His Temple on this sacred piece of real estate (Zech. 1:16; 6:12); and from that Millennial Temple, He will rule the world (6:13).
That Temple is described in vivid, precise detail in Ezekiel 40—46. Nothing built so far fits Ezekiel’s description. Not the Tabernacle, not the first Temple built by King Solomon, not even the second Temple that was dedicated by Zerubbabel and magnificently refurbished by Herod the Great. Even the structure on the drawing board today will not be that Temple; rather, it will be the Tribulation Temple that must be operational at the midpoint of the seven-year period called the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7).
There is one major obstacle to building the third Temple: the gold-domed Muslim Dome of the Rock, which occupies the Temple Mount. This is not a mosque, but it is an Islamic building. Some people suggest a Jewish Temple could exist alongside it, both sharing the Temple Mount. But I’ve spoken to many leaders in the movement to rebuild who believe the Dome of the Rock must be removed. When I ask them how they plan to make that happen, they say they don’t. They plan to leave that detail to the Messiah, but they plan to be ready to start construction when He clears the way.
Are you prepared for the Rapture of the church? If you are, live purely and productively so that you will be filled with joy when you hear the glorious sound of the trumpet of God calling us home (1 Th. 4:15–17). I awake every morning with the expectation that today will be the day. In light of all that is happening to prepare for a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, we would do well to keep our ears open for the Lord’s shout, the archangel’s voice, and the trumpet call of God.

Update on the Building of the Third Temple | Jewish Voice
Those who believe Scripture contains a literal fulfillment of the biblical covenants for the Jewish people and the Land of Israel recognize rebuilding the Temple is part of this promised future. In Jeremiah’s presentation of the New Covenant for Israel, we read:
Behold, days are coming,’ declares the LORD, ‘when I will fulfill the good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah. In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth. In those days Judah shall be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety; and this is the name by which she shall be called: the LORD is our righteousness.’ For thus says the LORD, ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel; and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man before Me to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to prepare sacrifices continually.
– Jeremiah 33:14–18, NASBThis passage speaks about the Messianic Age when all Israel will be saved and restored to the Land of Israel. At that time, a righteous descendant of David, the Messiah, will sit on the throne in Jerusalem, and the Temple will again stand complete with its Levitical priesthood. If this is to be a future reality, is there any sign of preparation for a third Temple in Israel today?
Since 1987, when the Temple Movement began preparations for the rebuilding of the Third Temple, efforts to see this become a reality in the 21st century have been slowly progressing. While modern Israel and a large percentage of the Jewish people throughout the Diaspora are secular, Orthodox Jews do not believe these people will play a role in the rebuilding of the Temple since it is a spiritual work. It is Orthodox Jews who revived the Sanhedrin, the religious body that supervised the halachic (legal) issues related to the Temple and who intend to see it rebuilt in a proper way.
The importance to Orthodox Jews of rebuilding the Temple lies in its role in the redemption of the world, which they believe can only take place once the Temple is rebuilt. Gershon Salomon is director of the Temple Mount Faithful, an organization that has been trying to prepare Israeli society to accept and promote the rebuilding of the Temple through demonstrations at the Temple site, the construction of a cornerstone for the Third Temple, and the making of various Temple-related utensils. Salomon has said: “[Building the Third Temple] is an act which must be done to complete the redemption of the people of the Bible in the Land of the Bible. I cannot imagine an Israeli State or Israeli life in this country without the Temple Mount in the center of this life.”
However, many religious Jews do not support this idea because they have adopted a Diaspora mentality and a spiritualized way of thinking, which sets aside hope in a literal fulfillment of the biblical prophecies regarding a future Temple. For them, the present political situation on the Temple Mount with Muslims controlling the site is acceptable. Jewish leaders in the Temple Movement believe the Jewish people are not living on the spiritual level God intended because of the absence of the Shekinah (Divine Presence) from the world. Rabbi Chaim Richman, Director of the Temple Institute, which has produced all the ritual vessels necessary for the function of the Temple and works to train priests for this future work, says there is a connection between the need for a new level of spiritual attainment and the rebuilding of the Temple: “The Shekinah is brought about only through the Temple.…In terms of our mission as a people, we cannot in any way reach our spiritual status without the Temple.” For Orthodox Jews committed to reestablishing the Temple, both the present problems of the world and the problems faced by the Jewish people will be solved only by rebuilding.
Are we any closer to the rebuilding of the Temple today? The world is radically opposed to Israel’s claims in Jerusalem, much less their contested ownership of the Temple Mount. On a practical level, Jews are banned by Israeli law from praying at the site, and those who visit are daily accosted by Muslims, such as the Women in Black, who maintain a constant vigil on Jewish presence at the site. In addition, the Islamic authorities officially deny that a Temple ever existed at the site. Nevertheless, recent developments have contributed to the Temple Movement’s goals and the realization of the rebuilding of the Temple in our lifetime.
Answering the charge of denial a Jewish Temple ever existed on the site, archaeologists discovered in decades-old research that the site of the Al-Aqsa mosque, which Muslims believe was built by Abraham, was once a place for Jewish ritual preparation for entering the Temple. The evidence for this came from a report filed by British archaeologist Robert Hamilton who had documented excavations of the mosque’s foundations after it was destroyed in an earthquake in 1927. He discovered beneath the floor of the mosque the remains of a Jewish miqveh (ritual pool used for purification). It dated to the time of the Second Temple when Jews immersed at this site before entering the Temple precincts. These findings, hidden deep in the British Mandatory archives department because they embarrassed Muslim officials, now provide evidence that the ancient Temple stood on the modern Temple Mount and was a place of Jewish presence.
Concerning the preparations for the Temple service, the Sanhedrin has taken steps necessary for reinstating future Temple service. One project of the group has been the planting of the Biblical Temple forest which will serve the agricultural needs of the Third Temple. Rabbi Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the Sanhedrin, explained that the Temple provided a link between the land and the Divine: “When people think about sacrifices, they think about animals and blood, but most were from plants grown around Israel.”
Rabbi Richman, also a member of the Sanhedrin, has been heading a project to restore the sacred Red Heifer to Israel. According to Numbers 19, the ashes of the Red Heifer mixed with water are a necessary element for purifying Jews to enable them to do service in the Temple. During the time of the First and Second Temples, a span of approximately 1,000 years, only nine Red Heifers were used in preparing the waters used to purify Jews. According to Jewish tradition, the tenth one will be used by the Messiah. Richman and other rabbis of the Temple Institute are providing halachic supervision and guidance in partnership with an Israeli cattleman who is an expert in the science of animal husbandry. He is utilizing the technique of implanting the frozen embryos of the Red Angus cattle, which originally come from North America, into Israeli domestic cattle. A red heifer cannot be transported to Israel for use in the Red Heifer ceremony, because the animal cannot have ever worn a yoke and must be born in the Land of Israel. The project is the culmination of years of research at the Temple Institute that fuses ancient religious texts and modern science.
The Sanhedrin and the Temple Movement also hold reenactments of Temple ceremonies for the training of those who are from the priestly class known as Kohanim. This training involves special schooling on the duties of the priests, the use of ritual vessels created for use in the Third Temple, and practice on a newly constructed altar of burnt offering. This altar is unique because it was designed to be disassembled and quickly reassembled in its proper permanent location, because the people of Israel are required to build an altar exclusively on the site of the original altar on Mount Moriah, the Temple Mount. When the time is right, it will be re-assembled on the Mount in the Temple, enabling the sacrificial service to be resumed without delay.
“For Orthodox Jews committed to reestablishing the Temple, both the
present problems of the world and the problems faced by the Jewish people
will be solved only by rebuilding.”Another recent rediscovery of the Temple Institute has been the revival of the science of producing biblical crimson. This dye was used in the garments of the High Priest, the parochet (the massive curtain that separated the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place in the Temple), and was an ingredient used in the mixture combined with ashes of the Red Heifer. Professor Zohar Amar of Bar Ilan University discovered that the eggs of the tola’at shani (crimson worm) found in modern Israel would produce the crimson dye.
While the Temple Movement continues to prepare for the rebuilding of the Temple, most understand that some political action must take place to reverse the present situation of control of the Mount by Muslims, in order to allow for Jewish access. This currently may be in process. Concerning the site, Israel’s Supreme Court has stated in its ruling Opinion on the Issue of the Works on the Temple Mount, “The reality on the Temple Mount…is by no means simple. It is extremely delicate and complicated…This is one of those cases in which a judicial ruling is not the reasonable way to decide the dispute, and a decision of this kind goes beyond the boundaries of the law. It is the political echelon, and not the court…that must give content and meaning to the historical call: ‘The Temple Mount is ours’.” In other words, this must be a political, not legal, action. Those who understand Daniel’s prophecy of the seventieth week (Daniel 9:27) know that it is a future political leader, the Antichrist of Revelation 13, who will one day make a deceptive covenant with the Jewish leaders, leading to the rebuilding of the Third Temple.
How might this happen? One possibility was found in an academic book on the politics of the Temple Mount: “Given the emphasis upon the international community’s interest in the sites, under the concept of heritage of humankind, representatives from the international community need to be included as mediators and guarantors. These would likely come from the United Nations (UNESCO) and drawn from regional powers such as the Arab League, NATO, or interested states such as the U.S., the E.U., and Russia…Any proposed legal regime will require interfaith cooperation composed of religious leaders from the region. It may be supplemented by international religious leaders who may serve as mediators.”1 Those who seek to understand biblical prophecy know that the Antichrist will be followed by both political and religious leaders, making this kind of proposal a reality.
It is exciting to see these developments unfold in the Land of Israel regarding the building of a Third Temple as we eagerly watch for the second coming of our Messiah!

For thousands of years, the world has heard warning that there is a coming a day when the Man of Sin, the Antichrist, will arise to pilot the greatest deception in human history. Whereas almost anyone alive today can discuss the dictatorial global economics, societal horrors, and eventual apocalypse that follows his arrival, few appear to comprehend that there are negotiations in the workings at this precise moment to build the very location where the abomination of desolation will stand in the holy place. This, as the book of Daniel prophesied, will be the catalyst event.…The beginning of the end.

Jeremiah 33:14-18 King James Version (KJV)
14 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness.
17 For thus saith the Lord; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
Daniel 9:27
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations, he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
“I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness: I will make all his ways straight. He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, but not for a price or reward, says the LORD Almighty.” (Isaiah 45:13)
The First Temple
“When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.” (2 Samuel 7:12–13)David, the shepherd boy who fought Goliath and became King, desired to build a permanent dwelling place for God.
But because he had been a man of war and had too much blood on his hands, the task of building the First Temple was given to his son Shlomo (Solomon), whose name in Hebrew means peace.
That first Temple, built by King Solomon around 1000 BC was destroyed
by the Babylonians in 586 BC on Tisha B’av (the ninth day of the Hebrew
month of Av), and the Jews were exiled in Babylon. As Jeremiah prophesied, the Jewish people returned to Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon (today Iraq) after 70 years.
“This is what the Lord says: ‘When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place.’” (Jeremiah 29:10)
And about 100 years earlier, Isaiah prophesied the name of the Persian King who would enable the Jewish people to return to Jerusalem, specifically to rebuild the Temple.
Isaiah 44:28:
Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd
and will accomplish all that I please;
he will say of Jerusalem, “Let it be rebuilt,”
and of the temple, “Let its foundations be laid.”’The model of the Second Temple on the Temple Mount.

The Second Temple
When the Jews returned to Jerusalem from their Babylonian captivity, they re-built the Temple, which was expanded four hundred years later by King Herod and called “The Glorious Temple.”Today we call it the Second Temple.
But this Temple also did not stand.
In AD 70 (586 years later), on the same terrible calendar day of Tisha B’Av (the ninth day of Av) that the First Temple was destroyed, the Roman army, led by General Titus, annihilated Jerusalem, razed the Second Temple to the ground, and sent the Jewish People into exile.
For the next nineteen centuries, Jews in exile longed to return to the Promised Land and see the Temple standing once again on the Temple Mount.
Devout Jews still pray three times daily:
“May it be Thy will that the Temple be speedily rebuilt in our days.”
After such a long wait, our generation may live to see the Temple standing in Jerusalem.

The Holy of Holies (Kodesh Kodashim) was the most important room in the Temple, and housed the two tablets of the Ten Commandments inside more…The Holy Mandate
“Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.” (Exodus 25:8)God has never withdrawn His command that Israel builds Him a Sanctuary.
In fact, the Prophet Haggai rebuked the people for neglecting the work of rebuilding the Lord’s house.
“Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai. ‘Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?’” (Haggai 1:3–4)
Under the leadership of Zerubbabel, the work of rebuilding the Temple began.
“So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God.” (Haggai 1:14)
The Third Temple: The Preparations are Ready
Most of the preparations for the building of the Third Temple are already completed by an organization called The Temple Institute, which is located in the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem’s walled Old City.
As part of its mandate, this Orthodox Jewish organization has completed the restoration and construction of many sacred vessels necessary for use in service for the Holy Temple. These are no mere replicas or models, but authentic vessels, made from gold, copper, silver, and wood.
Included among these are gold and silver vessels used in the incense and sacrificial services of the Cohen HaGadol (High Priest) and the Levitical musical instruments.
Also completed after years of painstaking research and development is the sacred garment or ephod of the Cohen HaGadol as well as his choshen (breastplate) and the tziz zahav (golden crown).
Prophetic Significance
Scripture indicates that the Temple will be standing on its original location on the Temple Mount before the return of Yeshua (Jesus).
“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.” (Daniel 9:25)
The fact that the vessels, garments, and even the building plans are already prepared has great prophetic significance for those who await the return of Messiah Yeshua.
Yeshua said that when the fig tree (a symbol for Israel) blossoms, His return
is imminent—He is right at the door.
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.” (Matthew 24:32–34)
The fact that Israel was reborn as a nation in 1948 is one of the indications that this generation is an end-time generation. So, we must be very cautious as Believers.
Yeshua warned that in the very end days, there will be a Great Tribulation.
“When you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” (Matthew 24:15-16)
What will this abomination of desolation do?
“His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.” (Daniel 11:31)
Opposition and Challenges to Rebuilding the Temple
Of course, a project of this magnitude doesn’t come without practical, religious, and political challenges and opposition.
The most obvious obstacle to the rebuilding of the Temple is that the 37-acre Temple Mount upon which it needs to be rebuilt is under Muslim control.
You may be asking yourself: If Israel liberated and regained control over all of Jerusalem during the Six Day War in 1967, then why was the holiest site for the Jews, the Temple Mount, given to the Muslims?
The answer to this question is tragic.
After such a hard-won, against-all-odds, spectacular Israeli victory, General Moshe Dayan, then Minister of Defense and a secular Jew (who did not believe that the Bible was the Word of God), met with the five leaders of the Supreme Muslim Religious Council at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Who destroyed the Second Temple in Jerusalem?
In 66 CE the Jewish population rebelled against the Roman Empire. Four years later, on 4 August 70 CE (Tisha B’Av – 9th Day of Av) or 30 August 70 CE, Roman legions under Titus retook and destroyed much of Jerusalem and the Second Temple. The Third Temple would be the third Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, after Solomon’s Temple and the rebuilt Second Temple. Although it remains unbuilt, the notion of and desire for a Third Temple is sacred in Judaism, particularly Orthodox Judaism, and anticipated as a place of worship
Matthew 24:42 later states: “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.”
Matthew 24:44 also reads: “So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”
Revelation 6:12-17 King James Version (KJV)
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
