UPDATE ADDED: 3/24/23
From what I have read about ancient societies, I don’t think the idea that people’s lives are no more important than animals is new. It is apparent that those who wish to control the masses have always looked for ways to convince them that they are less than. The ruling elite work very hard to maintain their status and position.
However, it is relatively new that evolution has the world convinced that we are just another animal form. With no particular special traits, gifts or position in this world than the animals. This is a lie right out of the pit of HELL. The ruling elite have been cashing in on that victory ever since.
Once they have you convinced that you are nothing more than an animal, all of your protection goes right out the window. You know longer have a leg to stand on. All of your rights and freedoms are guaranteed to you by the WORD of GOD, and no one else. If you no longer believe that GOD created you with purpose, you are lost.
In this post we are going to take a look at some very strange things that are happening in our society. The worst part is that they are greatly affecting our children. Because many of us still have a kind and giving nature, it is normal for us to be accepting of others. That has gotten us into a whole out of which we may never climb until the Lord returns.
I have to tell you that it should be no surprise that we are learning that there are those of all ages who believe themselves to be animals trapped in a human body. Over the last 8 years I have seen something that I found very disturbing. First it was the tattoos. People were inscribing on their bodies all manner of wild lie. Not realizing how this affects their psyche and their spirit. People were putting up Totem poles. Come on… that is a blatant Pagan practice that says “I identify with this animal and I am ruled by it’s spirit”. Then I learned about the FURRY community. People, fully grown people, dressing up in full body animal costumes because they want to be that animal. They were barking and growling, lifting their leg to pee and walking on a leash, for heaven’s sake.
When my son and daughter-in-law had babies I was shocked to see that they were all excited about the phone app that enables you to turn yourself into an animal visually to send messages as that animal. I was equally concerned that they were putting the little ears on them, and eventually animal costumes. This I found very disturbing.
Friends, play is practice. When children play they are acting out what they want to do and be when they grow up. That is why girls had dolls and boys had trucks. Yes, an boys had guns and bows and arrows and knives…because they had to learn to provide and protect. Girls played dress up. But, girls also played other things. They played ball and tag, and some of us even practiced archery. I had a Tommy Gun by age two because I had older brothers.
When we not only allow our children to dress up in animal garb but actually buy it for them and put them in it before they are old enough to even know what they are doing…we are inviting spirits into our own children.
Don’t believe me? Stick with me… by the end of this post you may change your mind.
We have an enemy who hates us and wants to destroy us or at least destroy our relationship with the Creator. Right now he is doing everything in his power to:
CHANGE – MORPH – ALTER – MODIFY – TRANSFORM – MUTATE

Indeed, environmental scientists even have a word for the domesticated natural habitats that humans have created: agroecosystem.
Leaving aside religion, there are two main objections to the idea that humans are animals. One comes from environmentalists who believe that humans are unique in their ability to fuck up the planet, not to put too fine a point on it. The other comes from a common sense notion that humans are so different from all the other species out there that we might as well be a different order of being altogether…
I wonder what generation this writer stems from, he certainly drank the kool aid and is now spreading the rhetoric.
Harvard professor: Animals are just as important as people
Philosophy professor’s book asks humans to rethink their relationships with animals
In her new book, “Fellow Creatures: Our Obligations to the Other Animals,” Arthur Kingsley Porter Professor of Philosophy Christine Korsgaard makes the case that humans are not inherently more important than animals and therefore should treat them much better than we do.Korsgaard, Ph.D. ’81, has taught at Harvard for almost 30 years and is an expert on moral philosophy. The book is a departure from her previous theoretical work on moral philosophy, as it deals with more practical ethical questions. Well, I certainly would not like to live in a world with her morals or have her on an ethics committee that has jurisdiction over me in any way.
Drawing on the work of Immanuel Kant and Aristotle, she argues that humans have a duty to value our fellow creatures not as tools, but as sentient beings capable of consciousness and able to have lives that are good or bad for them.
The Gazette spoke to Korsgaard about her book, the future of animal rights, and writing accessible philosophy.
We should treat animals well because God Created them and He commands us to do so, and we love Him and always strive to follow His Commands.

What is an Avatar?
An avatar is a personalized graphical illustration that represents a computer user, or a character or alter ego that represents that user. An avatar can be represented either in three-dimensional form (for example, in games or virtual worlds) or in two-dimensional form as an icon in Internet forums and virtual worlds.
Avatars are used widely on websites and in online role playing games. They are an integral part of Internet chat, Internet messaging systems, blogs and artificial intelligence, particularly virtual reality .
SPACER
An avatar is a stand in for YOU. It provides the user with anonymity so you feel safe. You feel protected because you perceive that people don’t know who you really are or what you look like.
But, there is a dark side.
SPACER
- Another side of oneself; a second self.
- An intimate friend or a constant companion.
- Somebody’s alternate personality or persona; another self.
By creating an online avatar/profile icon, you are unwittingly creating a twin, another you, an alternate identity.
but it gets worse than that, because you are not only creating another identity, but you are opening yourself up to demonic possession.

Multiple parents have come forward with information on @WaunakeeCSD’s “furry protocol.” The school reportedly lets students identify and act like furries.
As if the progressive push to pervert children hasn’t gotten horrific enough with the push of the gay and trans agenda on very young students, along comes this story out of Waunakee Wisconsin.
Apparently, the school district of Waunakee allows children to identify as ‘furries’ which means kids can dress up and act like any animal they feel they identify as.

Meowsa! ‘Furries’ coming to forefront of sexual ideologies
‘The costumes themselves are almost designed to appeal to kids, as Disney will testify’
There was heterosexual marriage. Then came homosexuality and lesbianism. Then transgenderism and soon on the horizon polygamy.
And furries.
The Post Millennial is reporting an LGBT magazine is promoting acceptance of “furries,” people who “identify with and often dress up as anthropomorphic cartoon animals.”
The report explained they often deny any sexual element, but a 2019 study confirmed that often is a significant element.
The PinkNews article said those “furries” just want to share their love of anthropomorphic cartoon animals “but researchers in the 2019 study observed that ‘[b]oth sexual attraction to anthropomorphic animals and sexual arousal by fantasizing about being anthropomorphic animals were nearly universal,'” the report aid.
“Adults in disguise in a culture that has been associated with highly sexualised behaviour raises flags. The fact that the roots of this culture reach back into a popular art form that is worse than complacent about pedophilia, anime and manga in Japan, raises yet more concerns. Then there’s the fact that the costumes themselves are almost designed to appeal to kids, as Disney will testify.”
EDITOR’S NOTE: What is behind the current war against America’s children? Why are so many adults killing their unborn children right up to the moment of birth, or even after? Why are millions of kids sexualized virtually from birth, and injected with an experimental “vaccine” proven to be both ineffective and dangerous, then as toddlers transported to events glorifying mentally ill, demonically possessed men dressed as women?
Why are America’s children systematically sexualized at school, and by transgender recruiters on social media platforms like TikTok, seducing many into “identifying” as the opposite gender, or a brand-new imaginary gender, then encouraged to take powerful drugs and hormones and have their healthy breasts amputated or undergo chemical or surgical castration?
Why are our children simultaneously indoctrinated with toxic Marxist ideologies like “critical race theory” intended to condition them to hate and reject their own country, parents, faith, race, gender and themselves? Why are they simultaneously being frightened of the future by being fed lurid, terrifying – and groundless – apocalyptic tales of the imminent destruction of the world due to global warming?
No wonder youth suicides have skyrocketed, as have depression, anxiety, addiction and drug overdoses. Indeed, fentanyl, the No. 1 cause of death of younger Americans 18 to 45, destroys multitudes of children annually.
Make no mistake: The harm being done to America’s children in this multi-front war is not accidental: Children are the primary target.
WHY? How can all this be happening in the greatest nation on earth? Who and what is behind it? And HOW CAN IT BE STOPPED?

The Truth About Schools Providing Litter Boxes to Students
Over the last month, we’ve heard this story being incorrectly told way too many times.
At a luncheon for Republican women in Mesa County, Colorado, last week, Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., warned that educators “are putting litter boxes in schools for people who identify as cats.”
To a person not steeped in the culture war battles over gender identity that have engulfed school districts nationwide, it’s the kind of claim that would sound bizarre and confusing— and, from high-profile GOP members, authoritative.
The week before, on Sept. 29, Minnesota GOP gubernatorial nominee Scott Jensen asked during a campaign stop, “Why do we have litter boxes in some of the school districts so kids can pee in them, because they identify as a furry?”
And during a legislative hearing last month in Tennessee, two Republican state lawmakers discussed the “growing crisis” of public schools providing litter boxes for children who identify as cats, and claimed it’s happening across the state.
At least 20 conservative candidates and elected officials have claimed this year that K-12 schools are placing litter boxes on campus or making other accommodations for students who identify as cats, according to an NBC News review of public statements.
Every school district that has been named by those 20 politicians said either to NBC News or in public statements that these claims are untrue. There is no evidence that any school has deployed litter boxes for students to use because they identify as cats.
But the claim has taken on a life of its own among a growing number of Republicans, conservative influencers and political commentators. In an episode of Spotify’s “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast this week, host Joe Rogan told former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard that a litter box was installed in a school that his friend’s wife worked at for a girl who “identifies as an animal.” A clip of the discussion quickly began to circulate on social media. Rogan did not name the school, and his publicist did not respond to a request for comment.
There is a real subculture of people known as furries, a community of children and adults who roleplay as anthropomorphized animal characters. But the vast majority of them still identify as humans, while sometimes adopting an animal-like persona and engaging in short-term roleplay, according to furries and experts, one of whom noted that there are no litter boxes at furry conventions. Three school-age furries told NBC News they have at times dressed up at school, typically wearing just part of their full costume such as a mask or gloves that look like paws, but they’d never heard of any furry ever asking for a litter box.
That has not stopped such rumors from circulating on social media, where they have been repeated like a game of telephone, often with descriptions of friends of friends who supposedly saw such things firsthand. And it has not stopped some politicians from picking up these claims and using them to alarm people by saying that this is where protections for LGBTQ students will lead.
“What’s most provocative about this hoax is how it turns on two key wedge issues for conservatives: educational accommodations and gender nonconformity,” said Joan Donovan, research director of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard University and co-author of “Meme Wars: The Untold Story of the Online Battles Upending Democracy in America.”
The rise of the litter box rumor shows the power of false claims that start on social media to shape political discourse. And it demonstrates how quickly some elements of truth can be twisted and mashed up with fully debunked assertions to create a viral narrative amplified by prominent politicians, as well as commentators with large audiences.
“It’s only used to kind of sensationalize untruth, and to harm our community, in particular our transgender, nonbinary and gender-expansive youth,” said Nadine Bridges, executive director of One Colorado, an LGBTQ rights organization, when asked about the litter box rumors. “Why would you attack our most vulnerable to get your point across, especially since the point is baseless?”
NBC News found one example of a school district keeping cat litter on campuses for students to use — but it had nothing to do with accommodating children who identify as animals.
In Colorado, GOP gubernatorial nominee Heidi Ganahl insisted in several recent interviews that students were dressing and identifying as cats, disrupting class, and the state’s schools were tolerating it. Some children, she alleged, would only communicate in barks and hisses. Her campaign declined to answer questions about Ganahl’s claims, but in one interview with a local Fox affiliate, she suggested “there’s a lot of this going on” in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County school district disputed Ganahl’s claims and said its dress code prohibits costumes at school. The district — where Columbine High School is located — has been stocking classrooms with small amounts of cat litter since 2017, but as part of “go buckets” that contain emergency supplies in case students are locked in a classroom during a shooting. The buckets also contain candy for diabetic students, a map of the school, flashlights, wet wipes and first aid items.
“This thing has gotten out of control with politicians just wanting to have a talking point,” said John McDonald, former director of campus safety at Jefferson County schools, who’s now a school security consultant.
The wave of misinformation reflects discontent among many conservatives around how the concepts and politics of gender identity are rapidly shifting.
As the number of people identifying as trans and nonbinary has increased in recent years, particularly among young people, so has the amount of anti-LGBTQ legislation from conservative politicians. The spread of rumors about litter boxes has grown alongside other extreme and baseless rhetoric accusing LGBTQ people and educators of “grooming” children through lessons and policies on gender and sexuality.
Some politicians issued warnings about children acting as cats during debates regarding school policies related to transgender and nonbinary youth.
Tim Kraayenbrink, a Republican Iowa state senator, said at a forum in May that local schools had been required to put cat litter boxes in the bathroom for furries to use, as he discussed schools that allow transgender students to use the restroom that aligns with their gender identity. He later told a local newspaper he didn’t verify the claim was true, and he did not respond to a request for comment from NBC News.
Last month, Brendan Shea, a Republican and member of the Ohio State Board of Education, introduced a resolution to oppose civil rights protections for LGBTQ students. As he argued for the resolution in a public meeting, Shea said, “We’ve literally got kids who think they’re cats and dogs using litter boxes in classrooms.” Shea did not respond to requests for comment.
The rumor of litter boxes in schools appears to have begun among parents on social media, and one of the first schools to confront the falsehood was in Canada last fall.
In an Oct. 19, 2021, Facebook post, the Public Schools Branch of Prince Edward Island said that for several months it had “fielded calls, been sent emails and been pointed to numerous social media posts that make broad sweeping assertions regarding students who identify as cats. Many of these assertions claim that schools have or are in the process of having litter boxes placed in schools.”
“This claim as well as many others are simply false and are causing unnecessary stress to students and staff,” Norbert Carpenter, the director of schools, said in the post.
Within a few months, similar rumors began to spread in the U.S., where they quickly became culture war fodder.
In December 2021, conservative activist Lisa Hansen claimed at a school board meeting in Midland, Michigan, that an unnamed school in the district had placed “a litter box for the kids that identify as cats” in a unisex bathroom as “part of the agenda that’s being pushed.” Hansen, who later started a local chapter of Moms for Liberty, a conservative activist group, did not respond to requests for comment.
On Jan. 20, Meshawn Maddock, the co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party, advanced the rumor, posting on Facebook that “Kids who identify as ‘furries’ get a litter box in the school bathroom,” with a link to a parent activist group. The next day, the popular conservative Twitter account Libs of TikTok tweeted the video of Hansen at the school board meeting. The post quickly went viral, racking up nearly 860,000 video views on Twitter.
As the video circulated, the Midland superintendent issued a statement to clarify Hansen’s claim was false. Libs of TikTok noted as much in a subsequent tweet, but questioned why no one said so at the school board meeting, where some people applauded after Hansen spoke. Maddock did not respond to requests for comment.
In April, three Republican lawmakers in Minnesota took turns during floor debate discussing rumors they’d heard about children identifying as cats at school, cutting holes in uniforms for tails and possibly using litter boxes. That same month, school board candidates in Arkansas and Tennessee made similar remarks, and Jennifer Benson, a school board member in Fargo, North Dakota, told a local news outlet children were wearing leashes to school and using litter boxes.
Catalina Lauf, a Republican congressional nominee in Illinois, tweeted this month that schoolchildren were using litter boxes in her state.
“Many parents and teachers have confided in me privately about the madness that’s happening pertaining to this trend,” Lauf told NBC News in an email. She declined to connect NBC News with any parents or teachers she’s spoken with.
When asked by NBC News for evidence to support her assertion, Lauf referred to an anonymous far-right blog that claimed a student was permitted to wear a furry suit to school in Hinsdale, Illinois. The school district called that blog’s story “completely inaccurate” and not something it would permit.
Beyond Republican politicians and officials, plenty of social media users have latched onto the rumor, most notably on Facebook and TikTok.
On Facebook, public posts show variations of the claim popping up throughout the country every day, citing unnamed grandchildren or neighbors, from Florida to California. Some say litter boxes are located in “transgender bathrooms” in schools. One post calling for school districts to take action has been shared more than 31,000 times.
Meanwhile on TikTok, one video claiming “kids are now requesting litter boxes at school” collected 3 million views on the platform. A reaction from another user calling for schools to stop admitting furries to schools brought in over 1 million views.
Furries are part of an established subculture that has existed for decades. The fandom is centered around an interest in anthropomorphism, or human characteristics given to animals, according to Sharon Roberts, co-founder of a furry research group called Furscience.
Roberts, an associate professor at Renison University College, affiliated with the University of Waterloo in Canada, said that nearly all furries maintain distinct human personas and do not identify as animals. Surveys and pre-publication research from Furscience also indicate that the vast majority are LGBTQ — and as many as a third are transgender.
Roberts said that in her research career, she’s never heard of or seen an instance of a furry wanting a litter box. Roberts also noted that the vast majority of furries’ characters are wild or mythical animals, who wouldn’t use a litter box in the first place.
“I’ve studied more than 40,000 furries from 70 different countries over a decade,” she said. “There’s no such thing as a litter box at a furry convention.”
NBC News spoke to three school-age furries who have posted on TikTok about the experience of being a furry at school. NBC News agreed to keep their last names private due to their fear of harassment.
Olivia, 16, from California, said she’s been part of the furry community for six years. “I don’t go out wearing tail, gloves, ears, or fursuit heads on any normal day,” she said in an email. She said when she has worn part of her fur suit to school, “I don’t act like an animal, or think that I am one.”
Dayna, 15, who lives in Canada, said she brings a mask and tail to school every day but only wears them during lunch and keeps them in her bag during class. “I like bringing them because it’s a way to show my creative outlet and something to talk to my friends about. I’ve actually made new friends at school because of it,” Dayna said in an email.
Kymera, 14, of Colorado, said being a furry is “just a hobby,” akin to being a mascot.
“I have never once heard a furry say they want to use a litter box,” Kymera said. “These rumors put us at risk of being hurt or bullied.”
Well, ok folks, you have heard what has been happening. We know that the mainstream response once exposed is to DENY, DENY, DENY. But, note that this stuff has been going on in multiple states. Multiple public figures have spoken publicly about it. MANY parents and school children have stated that they or their children, grandchildren or friends have personally experienced it. The mainstream want to make this a political issue and use it to squash social media reporting. The left wants to keep you in the dark so they can continue to indoctrinate your children. Who are you going to believe?

GOP Senate nominee repeats hoax that children use litter boxes at school, weeks after John Oliver called Republicans ‘heartbreakingly stupid’ for perpetuating the debunked claim
While speaking to supporters in North Hampton, Don Bolduc — who is facing Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan — claimed that children are being told they can use litter boxes in school and are allowed to identify as cats or furries, the news outlet reported.
“Guess what? We have furries and fuzzies in classrooms,” Bolduc said as the crowd laughed. “They lick themselves, they’re cats. When they don’t like something, they hiss. People walk down the hallway and jump out.”
“They’re putting litter boxes, right? Litter boxes for this,” he added. “These are the same people that are concerned about spreading germs. Yet they let children lick themselves and then touch everything. And they’re starting to lick each other.“
CNN reported that Bolduc made similar comments earlier that day on a radio show.
On the October 16 episode of “Last Week Tonight,” host John Oliver delved into Republicans’ attacks on transgender rights, including GOP candidates who claim schools are allowing students who identify as furries — people interested in anthropomorphic animals, and often adopt fictitious “fursonas” — to use litterboxes at schools.
“If kids were using litter boxes in class, a state representative from Minnesota would not be the one breaking that news to you,” Oliver said. “If a kid sh*t in a litterbox in first period, it would be the only thing anyone in that state was talking about by lunch. Minnesota would change its state motto to ‘Minnesota: Y’know, the state where that kid sh*t in a litterbox.'”
Bolduc isn’t the only Republican candidate to repeat the hoax, which has been disproven since 2021. In March, Sen. Bruce Bostelman, a Nebraskan Republican, apologized after claiming schools were accommodating children with litter boxes during a public, televised debate, according to The Associated Press.
The litter box conspiracy theory has become so pervasive that it has its own Wikipedia page. The claim reportedly originated in October 2021 in Prince Edward Island, Canada when rumors began circulating within the public school system about students identifying as cats and litter boxes placed in schools.
Bolduc is an Army veteran and a one-time election denier. Insider’s Madison Hall reviewed congressional financial filings and found that Bolduc flouted a federal conflict-of-interest and transparency law by failing to submit details about his own finances in 2022.
Despite Bolduc winning his primary, polling from October 30 shows Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan favored to win the New Hampshire Senate race.
Representatives for Bolduc did not respond to Insider’s request for comment.

As if identifying as newly invented “genders” was not outlandish enough, indoctrinated and confused victims of government schools are now coming to class wearing tails, fake animal ears and even leashes. They call themselves “furries.” And estimates suggest there are already hundreds of thousands across America.
The Newman Report has received communications about this disturbing trend from parents across multiple states including Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and more. Video of children barking like dogs or meowing like cats while scooting around on all fours have become increasingly popular on social media, too.
Even the “mainstream” media has started picking up on the phenomena in government schools — even in conservative states. NBC affiliate WLWT, for instance, recently reported on concerns among parents in the Meade County, Kentucky, School District about children “attending school acting like and dressing as cats.”
One grandmother of two in the local high-school was too scared to give her name but wanted to speak out nonetheless. “Apparently, from what I understand, they’re called ‘furries,’” the grandmother told WLKY. “They identify with animals. These people will hiss at you or scratch at you if they don’t like something you’re doing.”
According to the grandmother quoted by the NBC affiliate, she first became aware of the bizarre fetish spreading among school children in 2020. “But it really got bad when they went back to school this year,” she explained. “I have two grandkids in school and my grandkids didn’t want to go to school anymore.”
Students have even started a petition seeking to stop the practice, warning that some of these confused children were even biting fellow students as if they were wild animals with the knowledge of school officials.
Concerns about the practice first gained national prominence among adults outside the government-school insane asylums after a Michigan mom complained at a school-board meeting about “litter boxes” being put in bathrooms. The superintendent claimed it was not true—a denial that left-wing establishment bootlickers parroted mindlessly to allay fears of upset parents and taxpayers.
“Let me be clear in this communication,” wrote Midland Public Schools boss Michael Sharrow after the mother’s concerns went viral on social media. “There have never been litter boxes within MPS schools.” He did not deny that students were coming to school acting like literal animals, only that a litter box was placed in the bathroom for them by the school.
Of course, if males can impersonate or claim to believe they are females and gain access to restrooms for the opposite sex, there is absolutely no logical reason why students who identify as cats should not be provided litter boxes. In the demented “progressive” worldview, this act of alleged intolerance and discrimination should be equally odious.
Plenty of far-left voices are urging school officials to allow children to pretend to be animals in the classroom. “Please, let these weirdos do their thing,” wrote Ashley Reese in an article about the phenomenon at the diabolical propaganda outlet Jezebel. “Unless they’re actually harming their classmates, I see no cause for panic.”
The tragic “furries” phenomenon is merely a symptom of the horrific and systemic child abuse masquerading as “education” that is taking place in government “schools.” It is the next logical step in the schools’ descent into total madness and depravity. How much more of this lunacy and psychological terrorism against children Americans will tolerate remains to be seen.

According to Kentucky NBC affiliate WLWT, parents and students alike are concerned about a group of high school students in the Meade County School district “attending school acting like and dressing as cats.” One woman who spoke to the outlet, the grandmother of two children who attend the high school, said the trend began last year, but seemed to become more popular when students returned to classes in August.
From WLWT, emphasis ours:
“Apparently, from what I understand, they’re called ‘furries,’” the grandmother, who asked to remain anonymous, told WLKY. “They identify with animals. These people will hiss at you or scratch at you if they don’t like something you’re doing.”
She said it’s not a new problem.
“I was hearing rumblings of this last year, but it really got bad when they went back to school this year. I have two grandkids in school and my grandkids didn’t want to go to school anymore,” she said.
She said the issue gained attention on social media once people started sharing photos and videos of the feline costumes and behavior, “I started getting videos and messages from kids, and I said, ‘Ok, I’m going to post this so parents know what’s going on.’”
The grandmother said a petition to end the practice was created by students and has more than 1,000 signatures.
“The students are told they can’t wear hats or Budweiser shirts in school, but they can wear cat ears, cat tails, masks, leashes. It doesn’t make sense,” she added.
Last week, someone identifying themselves only as an “MCHS student” started Change.org petition that has so far garnered almost 1,000 signatures, calling out Meade County School District for hypocrisy: They’re demanding that the district nix their dress code policy against wearing hats if students are allowed to wear animal ears, tails, and leashes. While the district’s superintendent assured WLWT that this furry gear is, in fact, a dress code violation, that hasn’t seemed to ease the worries of the anonymous student who started the petition. The student claims these “furries”—their classmates—are “growling, hissing, or even scratching and biting at other people.”
I’ve been very online for more than half my life, and I’ve witnessed every possible expression of furrydom that one can imagine: the costumes, the fanart, the porn, the meetups, etc. Whether we’re calling them furries or members of the “kin” community, I truly do not understand the appeal and I never will. Admittedly, I’m a little weirded out by it, not unlike that grandma from Kentucky.
Still, this sounds like a small group of nerdy, socially awkward kids who are going through a phase. The Venn diagram between these kids and the kids who Naruto run through the hallways is, I would guess, basically a circle, and they’re probably harmless. There’s always some teen craze that people inevitably blow out of proportion. Remember vampire kids post-Twilight? Or when ‘90s teens had a thing for pacifiers?
Please, let these weirdos do their thing. Unless they’re actually harming their classmates, I see no cause for panic. And maybe let the kids wear hats in class too. Who cares? Dress codes are mostly nonsensical anyway.

One of the more bizarre rumors to come out of the fever swamp of online anti-transgender misinformation has been the myth that schools across the U.S. have had to install litterboxes to accommodate students who identify as cats. Now, North Dakota Republicans have gone so far as to include language banning students who identify as animals from public schools in their latest anti-trans bill.
“A board of a school district, a public or private school, or a teacher in a public or private school may not … Adopt a policy establishing or providing a place, facility, school program, or accommodation that caters to a student’s perception of being any animal species other than human,” a section of the bill, introduced Wednesday by six Republican members of the North Dakota Legislature, reads.
One of the North Dakota bill’s sponsors, Rep. Lori VanWinkle (R), insisted that students who identify as non-human animals are actually a problem in the state. “Yes we have people who would like to claim themselves as animals such as cats and dogs,” she wrote in an email to NBC News, citing no evidence.

Otherkin are a subculture of people who identify as not entirely human. Some otherkin believe their identity derives from reincarnation, a non-human soul, ancestry,[2] symbolism, or metaphor.[1] Others attribute it to unusual psychology and do not hold spiritual beliefs on the subject. Categories of otherkin include Fictionkin, those who identify as fictional characters; Conceptkin, who identify as abstract concepts; Weatherkin, who identify as weather systems; as well as a number of other more obscure categories.[3] Joseph P. Laycock, assistant professor of religious studies at Texas State University, considers otherkin beliefs to have a religious dimension, but asserts that “the argument that Otherkin identity claims conform to a substantive definition of religion is problematic”.[4] Many otherkin themselves reject the notion that being otherkin is a religious belief.[4] A controversial but frequently made analogy is to gender dysphoria, leading to the terms trans-species or trans-speciesism and species dysphoria.[by whom?]
Heptagram | Judaism, Islam, Thelema, Paganism, Alchemy | Represents the seven days of creation. In Islam, it represents the first seven verses of the Quran. It is the symbol of Babalon in Thelema. In Wicca, it is known as the Elven Star, Fairy Star, or Septagram. |
A heptagram, septagram, septegram or septogram is a seven-point star drawn with seven straight strokes. The name heptagram combines a numeral prefix, hepta-, with the Greek suffix -gram. The -gram suffix derives from γραμμῆ (grammē) meaning a line.[1] GeometryIn general, a heptagram is any self-intersecting heptagon (7-sided polygon). There are two regular heptagrams, labeled as {7/2} and {7/3}, with the second number representing the vertex interval step from a regular heptagon, {7/1}. This is the smallest star polygon that can be drawn in two forms, as irreducible fractions. The two heptagrams are sometimes called the heptagram (for {7/2}) and the great heptagram (for {7/3})

Description
Otherkin may identify as mythical creatures,[5] with others identifying as creatures from the natural world or from popular culture. Examples include: angels, demons, dragons, elves, fairies, sprites, wolves, foxes, horses, aliens,[6][7][8] and fictional characters.[9] Many otherkin believe in the existence of a multitude of parallel universes, and their belief in the existence of supernatural or sapient non-human beings is grounded in that idea.[10]
With regard to their online communities, otherkin largely function without formal authority structures and mostly focus on support and information gathering, often dividing into more specific groups based on kintype.[10] There are occasional offline gatherings, but the otherkin network is mostly an online phenomenon.[10]
Some otherkin claim to be especially empathic and attuned to nature.[7] Some claim to be able to shapeshift mentally or astrally, meaning that they experience the sense of being in their particular form while not actually changing physically.[1][11]
The therian and vampire subcultures are related to the otherkin community, and are considered part of it by most otherkin but are culturally and historically distinct movements of their own, despite some overlap in membership.[1] The word “alterhuman” exists as an umbrella term which intends to encompass all of these subcultures, as well as others such as plurality.[12]
Etymology
“Otherkin,” as an adjective, was defined in the Middle English Dictionary (1981) as “a different or an additional kind of, other kinds of”.[13]
The earliest recorded use of the term otherkin, in the context of a subculture, appeared in July 1990 and the variant otherkind was reported as early as April 1990.[1] The word “otherkind” was initially coined from the word “elfinkind”, to refer to non-elf others who joined the communities.[14]

10 Anime That Were Inspired By Japanese Mythology
Modern anime takes inspiration from tons of sources, but Japanese mythology is always a consistent source of inspiration.
A huge enjoyment from watching anime comes from the cultural immersion of getting to vicariously experience Japan’s various customs and ideologies from the lives of 2D characters. So much of Japan’s distinct aesthetic sensibilities are embedded in everyone’s favorite anime, and it teaches fans across the world about the various beliefs of the people in the far East.
One of the most recurring and defined cultural themes across anime is their strong attachment to Japanese mythology. Whether kids are befriending yokai or demon hunters are fighting oni, the extravagant spiritual figures and legends within Japanese mythology have done a good job of making themselves known and feared within anime. For this list, let’s take a look at a few key anime that have taken heavy inspiration from Japanese mythology.
10Sarazanmai
In this anime, Kunihiki Ikuhara taps into the lore of the frog like amphibious spirit of Japan’s depths and gives them his special brand of surreal and intense imagery. After three boys accidentally break a kappa statue, they find that they’ve been cursed and connected to its leading deity to combat a new spiritual threat in the world.
In exchange for receiving a kappa’s special dish, the boys themselves transform into kappas to combat the various monstrous personifications of people’s deepest, darkest desires. With incredible sakuga and the kind of anime panache that can only come from an Ikuhara anime, Sarazanmai is just one of those series that’s hard to forget.
9Mushishi
Mushishi is an anime that directly inhabits some of Japan’s deepest sects of mythology and folktales. Using various inspirations for its occult nature, this series focuses on one of its titular “Mushishi,” Ginko, as he examines and investigates the various occurrences of spirits within his world.
Pondering what it truly means to be alive and being, Ginko’s exploration brings the viewer to both intimate and spectacular settings of mythology that define life at its more strange and base.
8Inuyasha
Inuyasha is often revered for introducing a lot of people to anime. For the few kids who risked staying up at night to watch Toonami, Inuyasha brought young viewers a special brand of adventure and bloody battle that both reveled in the romance of Japanese lore as well as terrified with the legends’ surreal monsters.
From a mangaka famous for her Shoujo writing, Inuyasha focuses on a very unique love story that has the modern reincarnation of Japanese priestess connect with the demon that she once tried to slay, as they venture across ancient Japan for the shards of a powerful crystal.
7In/Spectre
The most recent entry on this list, In/Spectre brings the viewer to Japanese lore by embedding it with the kind of small town mystery only found in Twin Peaks with a similar level of personality and candor to match. Kotoko Iwanaga was chosen by a band of forest spirits to become their god when she was just a little girl.
Having sacrificed an eye and a leg to do so, Kotoko now acts as both a mediator and an investigator to the spirits’ various issues, while she also pursues her own romantic interest with a new boy on the block with his own unique attachment to the occult.
6Naruto
One would be hard pressed to find another anime based on Japanese culture and lore that is as big and popular as Naruto. (There’s Dragon Ball, but alien fights kind of washes the experience down.) This Shounen giant focuses on a world of ninjas years after the mysterious attack by the wrathful Nine-Tailed Fox.
When the story begins, the fox’s current vessel, Naruto Uzumaki, tries to work his way up to becoming his village’s leader by working past his isolation and curse to become a great ninja. Using literal personifications of Japanese magic and direct usage of various spirits and monsters, Naruto is an exhilarating and action packed series that can get anyone invested in the lore.
5Ghost Stories
For those who want a less serious interpretation of the mythology, Ghost Stories really is the go to for a good laugh. Now, to be fair, Ghost Stories was at one point a sincere examination of the folklore and spirits that can haunt the abandoned house next door.
However, due to poor sales within Japan and special permission given to the English voice cast, Ghost Stories has become a cult hit thanks to its hilarious, improvised dialogue. Even for those who don’t have time to sit through an entire anime, the entire Ghost Stories experience is available in various YouTube snippets circulating the interwebs.
4Spirited Away
How can one really talk about Japanese mythology inspired anime without referencing the man who somehow made the monsters and spirits more magical? While Hiyao Miyazaki classics like My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke could certainly find their way here, this list will be giving its Ghibli spot to perhaps the biggest and most critically acclaimed film of them all.
Spirited Away tells the story of a young Chihiro, when her family becomes stranded in the spirit world during an ill advised venture into a strange, off road tunnel. Having to summon up some new bravery, Chihiro must work her way through a bathhouse for some of Japan’s most legendary spirits as she works to free herself and turn her peg-transformed parents back to normal.
3Hotarubi No Mori E
Who says Japanese mythology just has to be strange or action-ey? Sometimes the occult can tug at people’s heart strings, make them fall in love, and, just as suddenly as they appeared, make everyone cry. Hotarubi no Mori E examines the unique love story of a young girl who spends all of her summers with a mysterious, masked spirit.
However, because no one can have nice things, she can never touch the spirit lest she risks him disappearing. Still managing to create an intimate, Summer time romance, this anime brings fans a magical experience in more ways than one.
2The Boy And The Beast
While Miyazaki is a definitive purveyor of Japanese mythology in film, he is not the only one. A rising star in the animation scene, Mamoru Hosoda has crafted a variety of animated spectacles that are enjoyable for the entire family.
One of his best films just so happens to feature a young run away who finds a new family with a mighty Japanese god who is in desperate need of some disciples. In a film with magical caricatures of Japanese spirits, well-choreographed martial arts, and a charming, central duo, The Boy and the Beast is a fine entry to the director’s growing list of instant classics.
1Noragami
Last but not least, this list reaches an instant classic of the modern age. Noragami focuses on a down-on-his-luck deity who is not only low on worshippers but suddenly finds himself without a weapon partner.
After a fateful meeting with a girl who naively tries to save him from being hit by a car, that deity finds an unsuspecting new friend who must now help him find a new partner unless she wants to stay a floating spirit forever. Noragami is a beautiful anime from Studio Bones whose animation, character designs, and incredible action all serve to give old legends a fresh coat of stylized paint.
Bible Topics: Daydreaming and unprofitable thoughts
Definitions: Daydreaming is to have dreamlike musings or fantasies while awake. Unprofitable thoughts are the result of daydreaming, idleness, or worse yet, evil, rebellious thoughts given by the Enemy.
1. The Devil is battling for control of us through our minds.
- Ephesians 2:2,3a Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3a Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind.
- Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- 1 Peter 5:8,9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
2. Daydreaming may seem harmless at first, but if unchecked it can destroy our usefulness.
- Proverbs 19:15 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
- Proverbs 25:28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit [or thoughts!] is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

- Ephesians 4:17,18 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind. 18 Having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.
- Galatians 3:1a O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched [entranced] you, that ye should not obey the truth…?
4. Take a militant stand against daydreaming and bring your thoughts into subjection.
- Psalm 119:113 I hate vain thoughts: but Thy law do I love.

- 2 Corinthians 10:4,5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
