Scientists in Israel grow date plants from 2,000-year-old seeds
Seeds found in Judean desert are male and female, leading to hopes of producing dates
The seeds, dubbed Adam, Jonah, Uriel, Boaz, Judith and Hannah, were among many others discovered at archaeological sites in the Judean desert.
It is not the first time the team have managed to grow ancient seeds: in 2008 they reported that they had germinated a 1,900-year-old Judean date palm seed from Masada – an ancient site extended by Herod the Great in the first century BC that looks out over the Dead Sea. That plant, a male, was named Methuselah after the oldest character in the Bible.
But the new study goes further – not only involving more seeds, but shedding light on the way Judean farmers may have cultivated the famous plants.
And with the newly germinated seeds including females, the discovery could bear further fruit: the team say they hope to apply Methuselah’s pollen to Hannah – which is expected to produce a flower within the next two years – with the goal of producing dates.
But it may not quite be a resurrection.
“It won’t be the typical Judean date, because dates that were grown at that time – just like dates that are grown today – are not grown from seeds that somebody puts in the earth,” said Dr Sarah Sallon, director of the Louis Borick Natural Medicine Research Centre at the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem. “They are grown from clones from very high-producing females.”
Date palms are thought to have first been cultivated in Arabia and Mesopotamia (now Iraq) more than 6,000 years ago and were once widespread in ancient Judea, a region of the Levant. As well as being an important item of food, said Sallon, they were used to treat various medical conditions, including depression and poor memory. “Dates were an enormous export from Judea and they were famous,” she said.
Writers from Pliny the Elder to Herodotus raved about the qualities of Judean dates, including their long shelf-life, which allowed them to be transported far and wide. “Herod even used to present them to the emperor in Rome every year,” said Sallon.
But the plants suffered under centuries of unrest; by the 19th century the plantations had disappeared.
Writing in the journal Science Advances, Sallon and colleagues report how they planted 32 Judean date palm seeds retrieved from a variety of archaeological sites across the Judean desert. These include Masada and caves at Qumran – shelters best known for concealing the Dead Sea scrolls but which were also used by refugees in ancient times.
“I spent hours and hours in the archaeology department picking through the best seeds,” said Sallon. “A lot of them had holes in where insects had bored through or [they had] fallen apart, but some were really pristine and I picked the very best ones.”
Six of the seeds sprouted. The team radiocarbon-dated fragments of the shells left after germination to reveal that Hannah and Adam date to somewhere between the first and fourth centuries BC. Judith and Boaz were dated to a 200-year period from the mid-second century BC, and Uriel and Jonah were dated to somewhere between the first and second centuries AD.
“I’m Jewish, so I gave them Jewish names,” said Sallon, adding that, before the sex of the plants was known from genetic analysis, Adam was named Eve.
While some seeds took just weeks to sprout, others took half a year. “We were beginning to despair and then suddenly they came up,” she said.
The team found that ancient date seeds are larger than those of both modern cultivated date palms and wild plants. “Today’s seeds are still about 30% smaller than what they grew in Judea 2,000 years ago,” said Sallon.
Genetic analysis revealed that the older the ancient seeds were, the more “eastern” their genetic makeup appeared to be: Adam and Methuselah are closest to present-day varieties from the Gulf.
That, said Sallon, may reflect the type of trees that naturally grew in Judea at the time, or they may have been brought up the Red Sea from Arabia – an ancient trading route. Hannah and Judith are closer to modern Iraqi varieties – something Sallon said may be linked to the return of Jews from exile in Babylon in the late sixth century BC, many of whom had worked on Babylonian date plantations and may have brought plants back with them. (Just like they brought back the Babylonian Teachings)
Meanwhile, Uriel, Boaz and Jonah had a high genetic contribution from varieties west of Egypt and were most genetically similar to modern varieties from Morocco. “The Roman occupation [of Judea] was from the first century and it is possible that at that time they were bringing date varieties in from north Africa,” said Sallon.

New York University Abu Dhabi researchers have successfully sequenced the genome of a 2,000-year-old extinct date palm tree at the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology of Abu Dhabi.
Gulf Business reported that the finding was made by Michael Purugganan, a NYUAD Professor of Biology, together with his colleagues, in collaboration with researchers from France and Israel.
The study investigators used seeds that were recovered previously from archaeological sites in the Southern Levant region, which carbon is dated back to the fourth century BCE, a second century CE.
Through the germination of seeds, the study authors were able to carry out sequencing of samples and employ this genome data to further investigate the genetics of the date palms identified as “Judean date palms.”
‘Phoenix Theophrastus’
The study investigators were able to subsequently explore and find out how these plants developed over time. As a result, they discovered that such date palms that originated in the Eastern Mediterranean had roots in other gene types identified as ‘Phoenix Theophrastus,’ which, in turn, originates from Crete, as well as other Greek Islands and Turkey.

Theophrastus was the successor to Aristotle in the Peripatetic school at Lyceum. His given name was Tyrtamus (Τύρταμος); his nickname Θεόφραστος (or ‘godly phrased‘) was given by Aristotle, his teacher, for his ‘divine style of expression‘. (Obviously not the God of the Bible as Aristotle was a pagan.) He also continued Aristotle’s research into natural history, conducting numerous experiments and developing systems for classifying plants and animals that were later adapted by medieval scientists. He is sometimes called the “Father of Botany,” or the “Father of Taxonomy.” |
This, as indicated in the study entitled “The genomes of ancient date palms germinated from 2,000 y old seeds,” and published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, is an outcome of hybridization between species and shows Roman influence in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Through the revival of biological material such as sprouting the earliest seeds from archeological, paleontological sites, or historical collections, genomes of lost populations cannot only be studied. But in some instances, it also rediscovers genes that may have been extinct in contemporary varieties, explained Professor Purugganan.
The professor also noted that they are fortunate that the date palm seeds discovered can live a long period of time. In this particular instance, over 2,000 years, and germinate with slight DNA damage, in dry environs of the region.
This approach of the resurrection genomics, explained Purugganan, is an unusually effective method to examine both genetics and evolution, and possibly extinct species like Judean date palms.
Judean Date Palms
In February 2020, STARCTMAG.COM reported that Louis L Borick Natural Medicine Research Center in Jerusalem’s Sarah Sallon, together with her colleagues previously grew a single date palm tree also called Phoenix dactylifera, from one of the seeds. As of that article’s posting, the team had already managed to grow six more.

The ancient seeds were prepared by having them soaked in water, adding hormones that stimulate germination and rooting, then eventually, planting them in the soil in a quarantined place.
The research team utilized radiocarbon dating to expose the seven seeds were all approximately 2,000 years old. Genetic analysis revealed that many of these seeds originated from female date palms that were pollinated by male palms coming from different sites.
This suggested that the ancient Judean people who lived in the said place at that time and cultivated the trees made use of sophisticated plant breeding methods. (Taught to them by the Fallen Angels)
According to history about the dates germinating from the palms in this area have described their large size, sweet taste, and medicinal properties.

The Egyptians used a heiroglyph of a palm branch to represent a 365-day year, an obviously important cycle of time. Horapollinis notes that fact in his Hieroglyphica (1595), where he writes:
When they would represent the year otherwise, they delineate a Palm Tree [branch], because of all others this tree alone at each renovation of the moon produces one additional branch, so that in twelve branches the year is completed. (1.03)
Whether it is true that palms put forth one branch per month, I don’t know. I’m not a botanist. But if the Egyptians believed it, as Horapollinis claims, then it would be natural for them to associate the clock-like growth of the palm with the bird that began the ticking of time itself.
Certain other features of the date palm may have contributed to its association with the bennu. Most notably, fronds are similar to feathers in their construction, with two symmetrical sets of many spiky leaves creating a chevron pattern like that found in bird feathers. This, of course, applies to all palms, not just date palms.
Here is a feature specific to date palms: When date palms first put out clusters of fruit, the clusters and the branches from which they hang are orange or red-orange in color. From afar, it almost looks like a fire has spawned atop the trunk. It isn’t any wonder, then, that the self-immolating phoenix would be imagined to end its life in the crown of a fruiting palm.
The date palm is a plant which thrives in subtropical regions with little to no rainfall, but counter-intuitively demands constant moisture at its roots. One old saying describes the date palm as growing with “its feet in the water and its head in the fire.” This should lead us to think about the mythological World Tree, which connects heaven and earth. Fire is the primary element of the spiritual realm, while water is the primary element of the Underworld. With this perspective, the symbolism of the date palm tree may teach that the phoenix has its home in both worlds (like the bennu, the spirit of Ra, who traveled daily through both the heavens and the underworld of Osiris).
The trunk of the palm is straight and tall, connecting heaven and earth like Jacob’s ladder, or the pillars of heaven (in fact, “pillars of heaven” may have in some contexts been an idiomatic expression for palms). A palm trunk is like the conduit or umbilical cord that the Greeks and Romans imagined coming down from heaven to meet the earth at the Axis Mundi (“Navel of the World”).
In astronomy, axis mundi is the Latin term for the axis of Earth between the celestial poles . In a geocentric coordinate system, this is the axis of rotation of the celestial sphere. Consequently, in ancient Greco-Roman astronomy, the axis mundi is the axis of rotation of the planetary spheres within the classical geocentric model of the cosmos. It’s not a leap to associate the palm tree and the axis mundi with human anatomy. When Y’shua healed a blind man at Bethsaida, he did so in two stages. After the first stage of healing, he asked the man what he saw, and the man responded, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking” (Mark 8:24). The human head, spine, and reproductive organs are a microcosm of the unseen realm: the head is the heavens (the realm of Mind), the spine is the channel between heaven and earth, and the reproductive organs are the underworld (which we keep covered, like Sheol). This is why eastern mystics who teach enlightenment speak of the Kundalini (the SNAKE Kundalini: “She who is coiled; serpent ) energy starting at the base of the spine (the level of the mundane/”mundi”) and traveling up the spinal column into the head, where the inner eyes are opened in the ecstatic experience of spiritual birth. The funerary fire of the phoenix in its nest atop the straight trunk of the palm correlates to the mind-fire of the second birth of a spiritual man. (This is a lie. When you surrender to the snake you lose all rights to the rebirth/redemption of God.)

Admittedly, I can’t prove that any of the aforementioned features of the date palm are what led the Greeks to describe it as the place of the phoenix. However, the fact that the Bible puts a strong emphasis on palm trees suggests that they have deep spiritual significance. God must have designed the palm to teach us something about the spiritual realm, and I can find no better explanations than the ones given above. (That is because you are using your natural mind. If you seek God’s will, design and plan…you will receive the answers you seek.)
There is obviously spiritual significance to the palm tree because in the vision God showed to Ezekiel, there were palm trees used in the building of the Temple.
18 And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;
19 So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about.
20 From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.
23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.
24 And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.In Exodus 15:27, the Israelites come to a place called Elim. The root of that name means “strong chief.” There must be some importance to the fact that there were exactly seventy palms at Elim, or why bother mentioning it? Seventy is indeed an important number: it is the number of Gentile nations created when the tongues were divided at Babel, and the number of the Kosmokraters (divine immortals) who were given charge over those Gentile people-groups.
Isaiah 9:14-15 connects palm fronds with men who are worthy of respect and who wield influence due to their wisdom. Likewise, Judges 4:5 connects the place of the palm tree with the wisdom of Deborah the Judge. The association of palms with wisdom exists also in the verses about Jericho, though not as blatantly. Several times throughout the Tanakh (“Old Testament”), when Jericho is mentioned it is called the City of Palms. Jericho is one of the oldest cities in the world, having been originally built with cyclopean architectural techniques by the earliest occultists. Jericho was a city ruled by giants, and it was a hotbed for the practice of arcane arts. In other words, the people of Jericho were great in the wisdom of the Kingdom of Darkness.
From the verses listed above, we also see that the palm and the cherub together is an important motif in the Holy Temple. Not only did Solomon decorate the first Temple with palms and cherubiym (plural of cherub), but the Millennial Temple described in Ezkiel will also incorporate palms and cherubiym. In fact, Ezekiel contains no less than eleven verses detailing the role of palms in the Millennial Temple.
Perhaps the most telling verses of all are the last two that I listed. They show that the worshipers of Adonai wave palm fronds to praise him at both his First and Second Advents.
So what does it all mean? Taking everything into consideration, I propose that palm trees represent spiritual sight and the understanding of higher truths, the fruit of which is very sweet, and also the connection between immortal spirits and mortal men.

One more thing before we move on: The Sumerians may have called the date palm by the name huluppu. Scholars are not agreed on that point. It is worth mentioning, however, that the huluppu appears as a central element in a Sumerian myth about the goddess Inanna, “Lady of the Date Clusters.” (Inanna, a.k.a. In the story, Inanna plants the huluppu tree in her garden, but the Anzu-bird, a fire-breathing storm bird, makes a nest in its boughs. Meanwhile, a serpent that cannot be charmed takes up residence at the roots of the tree, and a demon named Lilith makes her home in its trunk. The association between the palm tree, a divine bird, a serpent, and an unclean spirit is enigmatic but very intriguing. (Not hard for a true believer to discern that these are all three evil entities. The god they serve is not the Creator)

It’s fascinating to me that most ancient cultures have their Legends of the Phoenix. A common theme of these traditions is the death and renewal of this mythical bird after a certain number of years. In what is believed to be one of the oldest Indo-European language texts, the Rig Veda, it calls this mythical bird the Vena. Ancient Egypt associated this legend with the Bennu bird and the Palm tree. Modern Greek tradition calls this bird the Phoenix. While each of these culture’s legends has a common theme they vary widely as to the number of years they claim for the renewal of the Phoenix. So much so it led the 17th century German scholar, George Caspard Kirchmayer, to write the following:
“This creature is quite a myth, and has never been seen except in pictures (I used the words of Herodotus). No man has ever seen it in true reality. Except a “ ‘tis said,” “ ‘tis reported,” “ ‘tis a tale,” or “so they say,” no one can bring forward a clear statement in regard to the matter. I regard as impossible, absurd, and openly ridiculous whatever, except in the way of a fiction, has been told of this creature. Such a belief as that in the phoenix is a slander against Holy Writ, nature, and sound reason. Faced with such a hostile world, the Western phoenix withdrew to the land of fable.“
Is the legend of the Phoenix a myth? Or is it, as it is with many traditions, a legend built in part upon the ashes of some ancient historical truth? Perhaps we might find clues to the identity of the Phoenix in the details of some of these ancient traditions.
Jewish Legends of the Phoenix
Jewish tradition from the Bereshit Rabbah (19:5) states the following concerning their legend of the Phoenix:
“[Eve] gave the cattle, beasts, and birds to eat of it [i.e. the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge]. All obeyed her and ate thereof, except a certain bird named chol, as it is written, “Then I said: I shall die with my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the chol .”
Rabbi Shelomo Yitzhaki, or Rashi as he was commonly called, had this to say concerning the Phoenix:
“It is a bird whose name is chol, and death has no power on it, because it did not taste the fruit from the tree of knowledge. At the end of thousand years it renews itself, and returns to his youth.”
Rabbinic tradition (Rabbinic tradition is steeped in Babylonian Mystery and Easter Philosophy and Witchcraft. Carried back to Israel after their captivity. It is not grounded in truth.) believed the Phoenix or “chol” is what was referenced in Job 29:18-19 were it states the following:
Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand {chol}. My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch. (Job 29:18-19)

The English word “sand” in verse 18 is the Hebrew word “chol”. This association of the Phoenix with “chol” is further confirmed by the LXE and TNK translations of Job 29:18-19: Notice in the verses below the association of the Phoenix with Palm Tree as in ancient Egypt.
And I said, My age shall continue as the stem of a palm-tree; I shall live a long while. My root was spread out by the water, and the dew would lodge on my crop. My glory was fresh in me, and by bow prospered in his hand. (LXE Job 29:18-20) (Not a true translation of the Word)
I thought I would end my days with my family, And be as long-lived as the phoenix, My roots reaching water, And dew lying on my branches; (TNK Job 29:18-19 18) (Not a true translation of the WORD.)
It seems the Jewish (Rabbinical) legend (fairy tale) of the Phoenix involves a mythical bird the Chol. This bird because it did not partake of the forbidden fruit was “taken” to heaven to live for a 1000 years.
Greek Legends of the Phoenix
The modern usage of the term Phoenix comes from the Greek association with the Date Palm. In ancient Egypt the Bennu bird and the Date Palm were given the same name and in many cases were considered synonymous. Some historians speculate the Greeks associated the purple color of the murex shellfish, made famous by the Phoenicians, with the similar purple color of the Date Palm fruit. Hence they believe the term Phoenix was applied to the Bennu bird / Date Palm idea of renewal found in ancient Egyptian traditions. This association was understood in later Medieval thought as shown by Juan de Horozco’s Sacra symbola (Agrigento 1601)(on the right). In this Latin book of emblems he shows the Phoenix nesting in the Palm tree. As already mentioned this same idea is found in various (invalid) translations of Job 29:18-19 where the Palm Tree and the Phoenix were used interchangeably.
According to many accounts of the Greek legend, the Phoenix was reborn or renewed after 500 years (Herodotus, Ovid, Mandeville). Pliny gives 540 years. The historian, Tacitus, in his Annals (VI 29), give both 500 years and 1461 years as the lengths of the Phoenix cycle. In addition the Jewish traditions, Martial, Claudian, Lactantius and Nonno ascribe 1000 years to the Phoenix cycle. Stuart Pool argued the cycle was 1460 years. It was his opinion the Phoenix cycle was synonymous with the Egyptian Sothic cycle.
Chinese, Indian and Native American Legends of the Phoenix
In China, the legend centers around Fung or Geng-Huang. This mythical bird comes to earth to help in the development of mankind and then returns to heaven. In India the bird was called the Vena and the native Americans called it the Thunderbird.
Egyptian Legends of the Phoenix
Most traditions concerning the Phoenix appear to originate in the legends of ancient Egypt. It was in Egypt were the Bennu bird (a heron or stork like bird) and the Palm tree are first associated with the Phoenix legend. Interestingly a Palm tree or Palm shoot is the hieroglyph symbol used for the 365 day year in ancient Egypt.

Horapollinis in his Hieroglyphica (1595) states the following concerning the year:
When they would represent a year, they delineate Isis, i.e,. a woman. …………………… When they would represent the year otherwise, they delineate a Palm Tree [branch], because of all others this tree alone at each renovation of the moon produces one additional branch, so that in twelve branches the year is completed.
On the surface it does not appear obvious why the Egyptians associated the Bennu bird and the Palm Tree with the Phoenix. We know both Jewish and Greek thought realized this association but they do not give a reason for it. The symbolism of a bird’s renewal or rebirth and flight into heaven is a common theme regardless of the tradition. But where does the Palm Tree fit into this symbolism? It is obvious from the Latin name for the Palm Tree (Phoenix dactylifera) that there is some relationship between the Palm Tree and the Phoenix idea. What is the relationship?
We know from Egyptian and Greek thought the Palm tree was representative of the year cycle of 365 or 365.25 days. It appears the ancient Egyptian traditions concerning the Phoenix cycle and its associated legends though have origins in a much earlier civilization. A careful investigation of the chronology of ancient Egypt shows the Phoenix cycle was associated with their dynastic calculations. Whatever the root of the Phoenix legend it has had a profound impact on the collective consciousness of those ancient chronologists.
Biblical Legends of the Phoenix
Even those who do not share my believe that the Bible is an inspired text may appreciate the Biblical version of the Phoenix legend. In fact, it is the Biblical narrative which provides the key to understanding the various legends associated with the Phoenix.
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Hebrews 11:5)
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (Genesis 5:23-24)
In ancient Egypt the Pa prefix to a proper name designates the “father of the house of” or “the house of” that person. Phoenix or Ph – Oenix (Pa-Hanok) is the Grecianised form of the Egyptian title for the “house of” Hanok or Enoch. The Legend of the Phoenix is nothing more than the ancient traditions concerning the life of Biblical hero Enoch. (We know that there were two different Hebrews named Enoch. One was the Holy Enoch, of the line of righteous Seth and one was the Occultic Enoch of the line of Cain. Many attempts were made to confuse the two or even to deliberately deceive people into believing that they were one and the same.)
According to the Biblical narrative Enoch was taken to Heaven after 365 years. In ancient Egypt this was considered a “great year”. Hence the Date Palm tree (Phoenix dactylifera) hieroglyphic was used to represent the year. This might also explain the Jewish and Egyptian traditions concerning the Phoenix and the Palm tree as mentioned above. According to the Biblical narrative, Enoch in his 365th year, “walked with God” and he was taken heaven. According to Hebrews 11:5 Enoch was “translated” because he pleased God. According to Biblical chronology it was the 987th year from Adam (almost 1000 yrs.) when this translation of Enoch (Phoenix) occurred. This 987th year (rounded) may be the basis for the legend of the 1000 year phoenix cycle. (This is a lie and a deception. God would never associate a godly man with an ungodly pagan Egyptian image. NOTHING OF GOD can ever be related to EGYPT! EGYPT REPRESENTS SIN?EVIL. We are delivered OUT OF EGYPT!)
Herodotus:
“They have also another sacred bird called the phoenix which I myself have never seen, except in pictures. Indeed it is a great rarity, even in Egypt, only coming there (according to the accounts of the people of Heliopolis) once in five hundred years, when the old phoenix dies. Its sixe and appearance, if it is like the pictures, are as follows: The plumage is partly red, partly golden, while the general make and size are almost exactly that of the eagle. They tell a story of what this bird does, which does not seem to me to be credible, that he comes all the way from Arabia, and brings the parent bird, all plastered over with myrrh, to the temple of the Sun, and there buries the body. In order to bring him, they say, he first forms a ball of myrrh as big as he finds that he can carry; then he hollows out the ball, and puts his parent inside, after which he covers over the opening with fresh myrrh, and the ball is then of exactly the same weight as at first; so he brings it to Egypt, plastered over as I have said, and deposits it in the temple of the Sun. Such is the story they tell of the doings of this bird.”
Mandeville – “In Egypt is the city of Heliopolis, that is to say, the city of the Sun. In that city there is a temple, made round after the shape of the Temple of Jerusalem. The priests of that temple have all their writings, under the date of the fowl that is clept phoenix; and there is none but one in all the world. (Then how does he bury his parent?) And he cometh to burn himself upon the altar of that temple at the end of five hundred year; for so long he liveth. And at the five hundred years’ end, the priests array their altar honestly, and put thereupon spices and sulphur and other things that will burn lightly; and then the bird phoenix cometh and burneth himself to ashes. And the first day next after, men find in the ashes a worm; and the second day next after, men find a bird quick and perfect; and the third day next after, he flieth his way. And so there is no more birds of that kind in all the world, but it alone, and truly that is a great miracle of God. And men may well liken that bird unto God, because that there is no God but one; and also, that our Lord arose from death to life the third day. This bird men see often-time fly in those countries; and he is not mickle more than an eagle. And he hath a crest of feathers upon his head more great than the peacock hath; and his neck is yellow after color of an oriel that is a stone well shining, and his beak is colored blue as ind; and his wings be of purple color, and his tail is barred overthwart with green and yellow and red. And he is a full fair bird to look upon, against the sun, for he shineth full gloriously and nobly.”

Pine Cones and Fibonacci Numbers
Leonardo da Pisa, more often known today as Fibonacci, is famous for having introduced the Arabic number system to Europe in 1202. Row (ii) in the accompanying diagram shows what Fibonacci brought back to Pisa from the commercial center in Algeria, while the modern Arabic numerals of row (iii) (known in the Arab world as Indian numbers) do not match the European numbers. Row (iv) shows modern Hindi numbers while row (v) shows the Greek sexagesimal numbers in use by astronomers and geographers for precision calculations under the Roman Empire, e.g., for preparing the table of sunrise and sunset in Britain that was available at the time of Hadrian (AD 76–138). As an example of these notations we can write pi to four decimals points as shown above.
The Fibonacci series 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 … (which was introduced to represent a population of rabbits in succeeding generations, starting from a single pair and breeding under certain conditions) exhibits the numbers 5 and 8 as consecutive elements; but not only that, columns numbering 3 and 5 are seen in some pine cones while 8 and 13 are seen on palm trunks; these pairs of numbers are also consecutive elements in the Fibonacci series.

Scientists to Resurrect Ancient Gene to Replay Evolution
The movie “Jurassic Park” was a lesson in how resurrecting extinct organisms can go awry. A new project plans to take a safer route: resurrect a single gene from an extinct species of bacteria. This tiny snippet of DNA will be implanted in modern-day bacteria, with the goal of seeing whether evolution can be replayed in the lab. (What could go wrong??? RIGHT?? OMG!)
In previous work, paleogeneticist Eric Gaucher from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his colleagues reconstructed earlier forms of a common gene by computing the way different lineages diverged to create the bacterial family tree.
“It is a bit like what historical linguists do when they infer the spelling or pronunciation of an ancient word from its modern derivatives,” Gaucher says. “Except, we are working with the DNA alphabet.”
As part of NASA’s Astrobiology: Exobiology and Evolutionary Biology program, Gaucher and Betul Kacar, also from Georgia Tech, now plan to plug one of their reconstructed genes in a modern organism’s DNA.
When brought into laboratory conditions, the microbes sprung to life.
“Once again, this new study extends our view of the habitable biosphere on Earth and the ability of microbes to survive under suboptimal conditions,” Virginia Edgcomb, a geologist from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution who wasn’t involved in the new study, said in an email. “It also extends our view of where viable microbial life contributes to carbon and other nutrient turnover in the deep biosphere.”
There was a previous study of bacterial spores that were supposedly from 250-million-year-old salt crystal in the Permian Salado Formation in New Mexico, but not all experts agreed these were really from back then. One of the issues brought up was that the samples were contaminated.
Using DNA and RNA gene profiling, these 101.5-million-year-old microbes were identified as aerobic, or oxygen-loving, bacteria and the “lack of permeability between the thick seafloor layers” ruled out contamination.
Jennifer Biddle, who is an associate professor from the School of Marine Science and Policy at the University of Delaware agreed with these findings and praised Morono.
“In fact, were I given a precious sample of Martian material with which I could conclusively prove evidence of life on another planet, I would give it to Yuki Morono,” said Biddle, who wasn’t involved with the new research.
Luckily, Morono says the health risk of reviving ancient bacteria is very low as “subseafloor sediment is regarded as at low risk for health, since no infecting host, like a human, exists in this environment.” Phew. (Are they really that Stupid?? They have no idea what would happen to humans exposed to these microbes!)

14 Extinct Animals That Could Be Resurrected – Treehugger

Can a lost species become un-extinct? In the 1993 film “Jurassic Park,” dinosaurs are cloned back to life after their DNA is found intact within the bellies of ancient mosquitoes preserved in amber. While the science of cloning is still in its infancy, many scientists believe it’s only a matter of time before extinct animals again walk the Earth. (what does that tell you? That should tell you a) that they have been working on it and continue to work on it a b) they fully intend to bring it to fruition and c) they plan on making it real in our lifetime.)
To successfully clone an extinct animal, scientists need to find animal DNA that is almost entirely intact. (well, right there you should know that they are already cloning living animals and humans. Why? Because they clearly have proven to themselves that it works, and because living victims have intact DNA.) Some species have substantial potential as candidates because of the availability of what is called ancient DNA, or genetic material from fossils or artifacts. For instance, recently extinct animals, museum specimens, and species preserved in permafrost during the last Ice Age provide ancient DNA. That leaves tackling whether undertaking revivifying or resurrecting an extinct species is sensible, ethical, safe, and affordable. (They have been working hard to convince the public that their morals are obsolete and playing GOD with DNA is not only acceptable it is something the public wants… Everyone wants to be a superhuman. Right?)
Because of the sheer amount of time that has passed, dinosaurs are unlikely candidates. A real-life Jurassic Park is probably best reserved for the imagination, but a real-life Pleistocene Park? Well, that’s another story. Here’s our list of 14 extinct animals considered for de-extinction through cloning.
Woolly mammoths seem like an excellent choice for de-extinction. Many woolly mammoth specimens remain in the permafrost of Siberia. Paleogeneticists, scientists who study preserved genetic material, have sequenced the woolly mammoth genome.1
The research into the genome, as well as preserved genetic material, has led to work around either creating a woolly mammoth through cloning or through editing the genome of the closest living relative, the Asian elephant.2
In a “first step” toward resurrecting the mammoth, researchers from Russia and South Korea are working to bring back another extinct animal, the Lena horse, using cells from a 40,000-year-old foal found in Siberia.
html”>Despite all the enthusiasm some scientists and many non-scientists have for de-extinction of this species, ethical concerns exist. Woolly mammoths were social animals that lived in herds. Attempts at bringing woolly mammoths back from extinction may fail many times before a viable mammoth is born. If using an Asian elephant as a surrogate carrier of the mammoth, the elephant’s 22-month gestational period eliminates the possibility of the elephant carrying an offspring to continue the endangered elephant species.3 Success in creating a woolly mammoth leaves the problem of what sort of life awaits the animal — lab animal, zoo animal, or resident of Pleistocene Park, an attempt at restoring a steppe ecosystem in Russia.
Tasmanian Tiger
The Tasmanian tiger, or thylacine, was a remarkable animal native to Australia and the largest known carnivorous marsupial of modern times. The animals went extinct as recently as the 1930s, mainly due to climate change, bounty hunting, and a lack of genetic diversity.45
Because they went extinct so recently, specimens of the animal remain intact, preserved in collection jars. Some taxidermy mounted thylacines in museums may also still retain DNA. Many people of Australia support the de-extinction, and habitat still exists. Some of the animal’s genes have already been successfully expressed in a mouse fetus after the scientists inserted the thylacine genes into the mouse’s genome.6 The major project, funded through the Australian Museum, to clone the thylacine, ended after scientists failed to obtain enough DNA to create a DNA library for the species.7
IBEX
Still think cloning extinct animals is impossible? Technically, it’s already been done: the Pyrenean ibex, or bucardo, recently became the first extinct animal to ever become un-extinct — at least, for seven minutes.8 The cloned fetus, which contained reanimated DNA from the last known living Pyrenean ibex, was successfully brought to term after being implanted in the womb of a living domestic goat. Although the ibex died of lung difficulty seven minutes after birth, the breakthrough paved the way for cloning preservation programs of extinct species.
The last known Pyrenean ibex was a female named Celia, who was killed by a falling tree in 2000. It was her DNA that was used to create the short-lived clone.

Looking at the epic canine teeth of these once-fearsome cats of Pleistocene lore, you may wonder whether resurrecting saber-toothed cats is a good idea.
Fossil specimens have survived into modern times thanks to the frigid habitats they once roamed. Ancient tar deposits, like those at the La Brea Tar Pits, preserved intact specimens, though whether there is enough ancient DNA to create a database is doubtful.
This one fires up the imagination and enthusiasm in a science-fiction scenario, but the realities of finding an unrelated surrogate able to carry the embryo, raising it, and providing suitable habitat mean this one is a long shot. IUCN guidelines certainly seem to recommend against it.9

These giant flightless birds, similar in appearance to ostriches and emus but without vestigial wings, were once the world’s largest birds. Because moas were hunted to extinction as recently as 600 years ago, their feathers and eggs can still be found relatively intact. Scientists have reportedly extracted moa DNA from ancient eggshells and mapped the genome.10 Scientists aren’t as enthusiastic as some politicians about the odds of a successful moa clone and reintroduction of the species.11
Dodo
Perhaps the world’s most notorious extinct animal, the dodo, was driven to extinction a mere 80 years after its discovery. Since the bird’s habitat on the island of Mauritius contained no natural predators, the dodo did not evolve effective defenses.12 This lack of instincts led to extinction through sailors being able to kill them for food quickly. Invasive species introduced from the sailors’ ships ate the vegetation that formed the diet of the dodo, as well as the dodo eggs, creating the primary factor causing their extinction.
Scientists hope to recover the dodo if they gather enough DNA to create a clone to implant in the eggs of closely related modern pigeon.13
Ground Sloth
Looking at the fossil remains or model of this ancient creature and you might believe you’re looking at a giant bear. These enormous animals were ground sloths, most closely related to the slumbering, modern-day three-toed sloth. They make the de-extinction list because giant ground sloths still walked the Earth 8,000 years ago, at the dawn of human civilization. DNA samples have already been extracted from intact hair remains.14
Because the only surviving relatives of the ground sloth are tiny by comparison, finding a surrogate mother is impossible. But it may someday be possible to develop a fetus in an artificial womb.
Carolina Parakeet
Once the only parrot species native to the United States, the Carolina parakeet was tragically driven to extinction after being hunted for its feathers, which were popular in ladies’ hats. The last known specimen died in 1918. Because mounted birds, remnant feathers, and eggshells remain in circulation and museums, DNA extraction and cloning of the species could soon become a possibility.
Virginia Tech has a project underway to implant a Carolina parakeet genome into the egg of a relative, the Jandaya parakeet.15 In the bird’s favor: there’s enough suitable climate for the bird to inhabit, but that raises the risk that the bird could become an invasive species.16
Woolly Rhinoceros
The woolly mammoth wasn’t the only massive hairy creature on the chilly Pleistocene tundra. The woolly rhinoceros also stomped through the Arctic snow as recently as 10,000 years ago. The animal also appears frequently in ancient cave art, such as at Chauvet-Pont-d’Arc Cave in France.
Woolly rhinos share many of the same pros as candidates as the woolly mammoth. Well-preserved specimens frequently become exposed in Arctic permafrost. Scientists have successfully sequenced the DNA and a rhinoceros could potentially carry the embryo. However, this victim of climate change lacks suitable areas for repopulation.17 What habitat does remain is rapidly shrinking due to anthropogenic or human-influenced climate change.
Passenger Pigeon
As recently as 200 years ago, flocks of passenger pigeons numbering in the billions blanketed the North American sky. By 1914, ruthless hunting campaigns wiped out the species.
Now thanks to cloning technology, the animal that was once the most numerous bird in North America might have a second chance. Museum specimens, feathers, and other remnants of these birds still exist, and because they are so closely related to the mourning dove, finding a surrogate mother would be easy.
Revive and Restore, an organization that actively seeks to recover extinct species, has a project well underway. They claim that returning passenger pigeons to the forests of North America will serve as a critical species in conserving that ecosystem.18
Irish Elk
Another megafauna to fall victim to the ending of an ice age was the Irish elk. Calling this animal an elk is a misnomer, as DNA analysis has shown that it was more closely related to fallow deer.19 These results make the Irish Elk the largest deer to have ever lived. Its antlers alone measured as much as 12 feet across.
As with other animals that lived in the icy north during the Pleistocene, preserved specimens of the Irish elk can be readily found in melting permafrost, making it a prime candidate for being cloned technically. The reality that the inability to cope with the warming climate led to their first extinction and the lack of any habitat for large mammals in Ireland means this species would only have a future as a zoo or lab animal.20
Baiji River Dolphin
Declared “functionally extinct” in 2006, the Baiji River dolphin became the first cetacean to go extinct in modern times due to human influence. Because of its recent extinction, however, DNA can still be easily extracted from remains.21
Like with many extinct species, the question remains about whether the Baiji River dolphin would have a home to return to after being resurrected. The Yangtze River system, this dolphin’s natural habitat, remains heavily polluted. There’s currently not enough governmental support or money to correct the issues that led to the extinction of the dolphin in the first place. Industrial pollution created during the manufacture of many products shipped to the West, including common household goods, electronics parts and materials, and fashion items drives the pollution. Another source, now remedied, was the enormous amount of plastics that the Western world shipped to China in the name of recycling.22 China banned those imports in 2018.
Huia
This uniquely beaked bird, once endemic to the North Island of New Zealand, became extinct in the early 20th century after museum demand for mounted specimens reached a peak. Due in part to the bird’s popularity as a mascot and national symbol within New Zealand, a project was launched in 1999 to clone and resurrect the huia.23 The mapping of the genome has been successful.24
Sadly, the South Island Kokako, the species most closely related to the huia, may have already joined the huia in extinction.25 The other closely related species, the North Island Kokako, which is currently listed as near threatened by the IUCN, also faces eradication due to introduced invasive species in its ecosystem. Efforts to bring back the huia may end up using money that effectively preserves extant species instead.
Neanderthal
The Neanderthal is perhaps the most controversial species eligible for cloning, primarily due to logistics: The surrogate species would be us.
A Neanderthal clone would also probably be most viable. Scientists have already completed a rough draft of the Neanderthal genome, for instance. As the most recently extinct member of the Homo genus, Neanderthals are widely considered a subspecies of modern humans.
The question is not so much, “could we do this?” but “should we?” The ethical considerations seem to outweigh the technical in the case of Neanderthals.26 A United Nations declaration and many countries ban the cloning of humans.27
Cloning Neanderthals is controversial, but it could also be illuminating. It also could strengthen the human genome by adding hybrid vigor to the species when humans and Neanderthal peoples mate and create offspring.
The ethics of having human surrogates carry the engineered Neanderthal bear examining. Early experiments may result in stillbirths or defects incompatible with life. If successful, there’s no way to know whether the child would have immunity to modern bacteria and viruses. If cloning were to take place, considerations of whether sports would allow the stronger Neanderthal to take part, whether the resulting children would find peers among human children. There also is debate on whether Neanderthals would have the ability to communicate and independently manage the functions of modern daily life.

This last section is important not only because they are planning to resurrect NIMROD who was a mighty hunter of souls, but because NIMROD and GILGAMESH were both GIANTS! We know that GIANTS will be here in these last days. We know that the elite have been dropping hints about that for a very long time.
I find it very amusing that they have been declaring for so long that there could not have been giants in biblical times because they could not exist in our atmosphere/earth’s current environment.

OPENING PANDORA’S BOX?
As troubling as these thoughts are, they could be just the tip of the iceberg as one-on-one interpersonal malevolence by human-animals might quickly be overshadowed by global acts of swarm violence. The possibility of groups of “transhuman terrorists” in the conceivable future is real enough that a House Foreign Affairs committee chaired by California Democrat Brad Sherman, best known for his expertise on the spread of nuclear weapons and terrorism, is among a number of government panels and think-tanks currently studying the implications of genetic modification and human-transforming technologies related to future terrorism. CQ Columnist Mark Stencel listened to the recent HFA committee hearings and wrote in his March 15, 2009 article, Futurist: Genes Without Borders, that the conference “sounded more like a Hollywood pitch for a sci-fi thriller than a sober discussion of scientific reality… with talk of biotech’s potential for creating supersoldiers, superintelligence and superanimals [that] agents of unprecedented lethal force.” [1]
George Annas, Lori Andrews, and Rosario Isasi were even more apocalyptic in their American Journal of Law and Medicine article, Protecting the Endangered Human: Toward an International Treaty Prohibiting Cloning and Inheritable Alterations when they wrote:
“The new species, or ‘posthuman,’ will likely view the old ‘normal’ humans as inferior, even savages, and fit for slavery or slaughter. The normals, on the other hand, may see the posthumans as a threat and if they can, may engage in a preemptive strike by killing the posthumans before they themselves are killed or enslaved by them. It is ultimately this predictable potential for genocide that makes species-altering experiments potential weapons of mass destruction, and makes the unaccountable genetic engineer a potential bioterrorist.” [2]
Observations like those of Annas, Andrews, and Isasi cause one to wonder if this is not how the servants of Antichrist move with such compassionless brutality in rounding up to destroy all who refuse to receive the Mark of the Beast.
Not to be outpaced in this regard by rogue fringe scientists or even bio-terrorists, DARPA and other agencies of the U.S. military have taken inspiration from the likes of Tolkein’s Lord of the Rings, and in scenes reminiscent of Saruman the wizard creating monstrous Uruk-Hai to wage unending, merciless war, billions of American tax dollars have flowed into the Pentagon’s Frankensteinian dream of “super-soldiers” and “Extended Performance War Fighter” programs. Not only does the EPWFP envision “injecting young men and women with hormonal, neurological and genetic concoctions; implanting microchips and electrodes in their bodies to control their internal organs and brain functions; and plying them with drugs that deaden some of their normal human tendencies: the need for sleep, the fear of death, [and] the reluctance to kill their fellow human beings,” but as Chris Floyd in an article for CounterPunch a while back continued, “some of the research now underway involves actually altering the genetic code of soldiers, modifying bits of DNA to fashion a new type of human specimen, one that functions like a machine, killing tirelessly for days and nights on end…. mutations [that] will ‘revolutionize the contemporary order of battle’ and guarantee ‘operational dominance across the whole range of potential U.S. military employments.’” [3]
CERN Resurrecting Osiris / Nimrod

As some of you may already be aware of, archeologists claim to have found the tombs of both Osiris (Egyptian god, usually identified as the god of the afterlife, the underworld and the dead) and the tomb of Gilgamesh (A king who was claimed to be one third man and two thirds god [66.6%]). Very shortly after the tomb of Gilgamesh was discovered, America invaded Iraq, where it was discovered. This was back in 2003.
So, these two gods are often linked to Nimrod, and many biblical researchers believe them to be one in the same. Is it possible these people actually existed and were mere men who were praised as gods? Is it possible that these men were influenced by the very same evil spirit that influenced Nimrod ? Nimrod worship is very real in this world, and with the technology of today and the discoveries of yesterday, something bigger could be in the works. Possibly something that will lead to the rise of the Anti Christ or The Beast.
Imagine the staggering implications of such science if dead Nephilim tissue was discovered with intact DNA and a government somewhere was willing to clone or mingle the extracted organisms to make Homo-nephilim. If one accepts the biblical story of Nephilim as real,(which I do) such a discovery could actually be made someday or perhaps already has been and is covered up. As an example of this possibility, in 2009 blood was extracted from the bone of a dinosaur that scientists insist is 80 million years old. While quite old we know that the age of these bones to be much younger, as carbon dating has proven to be false. Nephilim would have existed in relatively recent times, making clonable material from dead biblical giants feasible. The technology to resurrect an extinct species already exists, and cloning methods are being studied now for use with bringing back Tasmanian Tigers, Woolly Mammoths and other extinguished creatures.
Will the same technology lead to the resurrection of the pagan deity Apollo/Osiris/Nimrod, who returns to rule the Novus Order Seclorum? Is material from the deity’s ‘body’ concealed in a tomb at Giza… or in Washington, DC… or in the ‘sacred casket’ that former U.S. Vice President Henry Wallace mentioned in his letter to Nicholas Roerich, considered in esoteric circles to be the same as the casket or ‘coffin’ of Osiris? If so, is it conceivable that plans to revive the Apollonian tissue using biotechnology have already been made, or worse, have already been accomplished and the pagan god waits the moment of its unveiling ?
People not familiar with biblical eschatology may find this idea fantastic, that the being who becomes the Antichrist was once alive, then was dead, and returns from the grave to rule the Novus Ordo Seclorum. But this is exactly what Revelation 17:8 appears to say will happen: “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition [Apoleia,]: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder… when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
CERN Will Resurrect NIMROD
In this presentation we once again hear from Anthony Patch. He takes us through the various stages of what CERN has been doing with their projects and how they line up with Biblical Texts. He discusses the association of Pagan rituals and numerous Pagan “gods” that over the course of time are said to have been and still are worshipped by Pagans followers. Mr. Patch also goes into time lines that correlates with the Book of Revelation and the alignment of the Stars that we witnessed last September. While this interview was done via Skype and is a bit choppy at times and the clarity is not of extremely high quality, it is the message that is important. I would urge all of you to take the time to watch this presentation as there is some great detail within it on the topic of CERN and its underlying agenda. After this we will be diving into the DWave, which is also associated with CERN, and is an equally interesting part of this huge and extremely deep rabbit hole that we find ourselves submerged in.
