In 2014, the United States government declared a crisis at the border to address the rapid increase in the number of unaccompanied children and, to a lesser extent, women, migrating through border checkpoints and/or unguarded entry points, especially into Texas.
For 9 years now, our borders have been overrun with illegal aliens. This is not a humanitarian crisis. This is not organic immigration. This well funded, organized invasion of our country. Those who wish to enforce the NEW WORLD ORDER could not convince American Citizens to submit. As long as Americana had rights and our election system was working the NEW WORLD ORDER was hitting a brick wall.
SO, those behind the global assault on human rights, came up with a plan to overcome those obstacles. First, they corrupted an pretty much destroyed our election system, then they set out to change the demographics of our population by bombarding us with invaders.
Playing on the good will and open hearts of the American people, they were able to gather support for what they called a Humanitarian Crisis. And as a nation we opened our hearts, our borders and our pocketbooks/wallets to those we saw as being in need of our assistance.
9 years later, if you have not caught on to what is happening your are deaf, dumb and blind. NO COUNTRY could ever survive what they are doing ours. It is beyond comprehension that our government, our military, and our citizens have not put a stop to this before now. At this point, we may well be beyond the point of no return. NO MATTER WHAT, WE MUST PUT A STOP TO THE MADNESS!

What about our own senior citizens, wounded warriors, children, grandchildren and young adults about to take the stage? What of their future?
Population displacement will likely be a defining global issue of our current half-century.

Worldwide, the number of refugees under UNHCR mandate has doubled in five years, topping 20 million for the first time. The total number of refugees is estimated at 25.4 million; another 41.3 million are internally displaced, meaning they have been forced by conflict or violence to move elsewhere within their home country. As many as 20 million more are displaced by natural disaster.

The startling figures do not include known and unknown ‘gotaways,’ which indicates the number of illegal border crossings is far higher. FIRST ON FOX: Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., is calling for the deployment of Arizona’s National Guard to the southern border to help authorities deal with a surge in migrants to the Tucson Sector.
Fox News reported on Thursday that the border has seen 9,400+ encounters in a 24-hour period. Border Patrol apprehended around 7,700 of those, led by the Tucson Sector with almost 3,000 encounters.
“Tucson Sector is leading in encounters and our agents and officers are overrun and undermanned,” Ciscomani says in a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “The situation is far past a breaking point and those on the frontlines of this crisis are in need of immediate support.”

Ciscomani calls on Mayorkas to “immediately request that the Department of Defense deploy the Arizona National Guard to help with this dire situation.”
While the state government can also deploy the state’s National Guard, that would be at Arizona’s expense, while a move by DHS and the Pentagon would mean the federal government would bear the expense.

The Biden administration deployed troops to the border in the Spring in anticipation of a surge of migration when the Title 42 public health order ended in May. Meanwhile, a number of other states also deployed personnel — including the National Guard — to the border.

Numbers border-wide increased over the summer, bringing FY 23 to a new record for encounters. September marked a monthly record in encounters, and numbers dipped in October, but the new surge has again raised concerns at a time of year where encounters typically slow down.
CBP has been surging resources and personnel to the Tucson Sector — which typically sees less traffic than other sectors like the Rio Grande Valley– and has been focusing on transporting migrants laterally to other parts of the border combined with a greater use of expedited removal as an alternative to them being released into the U.S. The Biden administration has promised to increase the use of the authority — and has requested resources to do so as part of its $14 billion supplemental request to Congress for border operations, including staffing and non-custodial housing.
The Biden administration has said it is dealing with a Hemisphere-wide crisis and needs Congress to act to provide more funding for the border processes, while also calling on Republicans to support a comprehensive immigration bill it unveiled on day one of the administration.
Republicans have rejected that legislation, and instead introduced a bill of their own which would increase border security funding while increasing limits on asylum and the use of humanitarian parole. Republicans have blamed the ongoing crisis on the policies of the administration — including its rollback of Trump-era policies.
“Our CBP agents and officers continue to be undermanned and overrun at every turn of the border crisis,” Ciscomani said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The Biden administration must take action to fix this crisis of their own creation and the best way to start is by providing CBP with the support they deserve. By immediately deploying the National Guard in Arizona, we provide the men and women charged with securing our border the much-needed reinforcement to do their jobs.”’

Texas lawmakers last month approved Senate Bill 4, an immigration law that would allow Texas police to arrest people for illegally crossing the border from Mexico.
SB 4, which Gov. Greg Abbott has said he will sign into law, has sparked intense debate, with opponents saying it will lead to racial profiling by police and supporters saying Texas needs to step in because the federal government isn’t doing enough to stop illegal immigration.
When Abbott signs the bill, it’s scheduled to take effect in early March.
Abbott has taken a series of actions since March 2021, such as sending troopers and National Guard members to the 1,200-mile-long Texas-Mexico border to apprehend immigrants crossing the Rio Grande.
It is already illegal to enter the U.S. without permission under federal law. Without a state law against illegal crossing, state law enforcement has been charging migrants with trespassing when they cross the Rio Grande into private property.
Here’s what you need to know about the proposed new state law.
What is Senate Bill 4?
The bill would make it a state crime to cross the Texas-Mexico border between ports of entry. If a police officer has probable cause to believe a person crossed the Rio Grande, that person could be charged with a Class B misdemeanor, which carries a punishment of up to six months in jail. If the person has been previously convicted of entering Texas illegally under SB 4, the charge could be increased to a second-degree felony, which carries a punishment of two to 20 years in prison.
If the migrant is convicted and has served their sentence, a judge would be required to issue an order for police to transport them to a port of entry — and they could face a felony charge for refusing to return to Mexico.
SB 4 prohibits police from arresting migrants in public or private schools; churches and other places of worship; health care facilities; and facilities that provide forensic medical examinations to sexual assault survivors. The bill doesn’t prohibit arrests on college or university campuses.
According to a state House report on SB 4, police are allowed to turn over migrant families to Border Patrol agents to avoid separating children from their parents instead of arresting them.
Federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, have ruled that immigration laws can only be enforced by the federal government.
In a landmark 2012 case, Arizona v U.S., the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that local police didn’t have the authority to arrest someone solely based on their immigration status; that responsibility falls to the federal government. That case stemmed from a 2010 Arizona law known as Senate Bill 1070, which made it a state crime for legal immigrants not to carry their immigration papers and required police officers to investigate the immigration status of any person they come into contact with.
State Rep. David Spiller, R-Jacksboro, sponsor of SB 4 in the Texas House, has said he believes the proposal is constitutional because it simply follows federal immigration law. He said the intention of the bill is not to spark another Supreme Court case that would overturn the 2012 decision.
“People have asked me that: Are you trying to overturn Arizona v. U.S.? And my answer is no,” Spiller said.
But other Texas Republicans have indicated that they hope the law will lead to a showdown before the Supreme Court.
Last year, a lawyer for the Texas Attorney General’s Office, which has repeatedly sued the Biden administration over its immigration policies, told lawmakers the office would “welcome laws” that would spark a court challenge “because the makeup of the Supreme Court has changed.”
“We ask for you guys to consider laws that might enable us to go and challenge that [2012 Supreme Court] ruling again,” Texas Assistant Attorney General Brent Webster said.
Will SB 4 allow police to arrest any undocumented immigrant in Texas?
Spiller has said this law is meant to target people who recently crossed the border, not undocumented immigrants who have been living in Texas for years.
The bill does not limit arrests to the border area and allows police to arrest undocumented immigrants anywhere in the state.
How will this affect asylum seekers?
Anyone who enters the U.S., legally or illegally, has up to a year to request asylum.
The federal government is asking migrants to not show up at a port of entry and instead make an appointment on the CBP One app to meet with an immigration officer. But the 1,450 appointments available each day across the entire U.S.-Mexico border fill quickly and many migrants opt to cross the border away from ports of entry and surrender to U.S. authorities.
When an immigrant applies for any type of benefit to be able to stay in the country, including asylum, federal agents research whether the applicant has a criminal history that would disqualify their application, such as serious misdemeanors and felonies.
“This person has been arrested under a state law, and under U.S. immigration law, if I’ve been charged with and convicted of a state crime, there are state crimes that cause me to be subject to removal from the United States,” she said.
How has the Biden administration responded?
Neither President Biden nor any official in his administration has made any public comments about SB 4.
Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena’s office said in a statement that it “categorically rejects any measure that allows state or local authorities to detain and return nationals or foreigners to Mexican territory.” The statement did not explicitly say that Mexico would refuse to accept migrants removed under the Texas law.
Immigration experts have said that Mexico is not obligated to receive immigrants from Texas who are not Mexican citizens. In fiscal year 2023, about 83% of the 1 million immigrants encountered by Border Patrol on the Texas-Mexico border were not Mexican citizens. Many are coming from Central and South America, Asia or Eastern European countries.
Tonatiuh Guillén López, the former chief of Mexico’s National Immigration Institute, said that like in the U.S., Mexico’s immigration policies are set at the federal level and Mexico doesn’t negotiate agreements with individual U.S. states.
“Texas can’t do this because Texas doesn’t have a diplomatic relationship with Mexico,” Guillén López said.

PHOENIX (AP) — So many migrants are crossing from Mexico into the United States around remote Lukeville, Arizona, that U.S. officials say they will close the port of entry there so that the operations officials who watch over vehicle and pedestrian traffic going both ways can help Border Patrol agents arrest and process the new arrivals.
Customs and Border Protection announced Friday that the temporary closure of the crossing will start Monday as officials grapple with changing migration routes that have overwhelmed Border Patrol agents stationed there. Arizona’s U.S. senators and governor called planned closure “unacceptable.”
The area around the desert crossing has become a major migration route in recent months, with smugglers dropping off people from countries as diverse as Senegal, India and China. Most of them are walking into the U.S. west of Lukeville through gaps in the wall, then head east toward the official border crossing to surrender to the first agents they see in hopes for a chance at asylum.
The Border Patrol made 17,500 arrests for illegal crossings during the past week in the agency’s Tucson sector, John Modlin, the sector chief, said Friday, That translates to a daily average of 2,500, well above its daily average of 1,700 in September, when Tucson was already the busiest corridor for illegal crossings by far along U.S.-Mexico border.
It was unclear how long the crossing would be shut.
Although it is remote, the Lukeville border crossing is the one regularly used to travel from Arizona to Puerto Peñasco, or Rocky Point, a resort area in the Mexican state of Sonora on the Sea of Cortez. Americans also drive through the crossing to visit the border community of Sonoyta for a meal, shop or to get less expensive dental and medical care.
Some Mexican children ride a northbound bus across the border every day to go to school.
Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema, along with Gov. Katie Hobbs, blasted the planned closure and demanded better solutions from President Joe Biden’s administration.
“This is an an unacceptable outcome that further destabilizes our border, risks the safety of our communities, and damages our economy by disrupting trade and tourism,” they said in a joint statement. “The Federal Government must act swiftly to maintain port of entry operations, get the border under control, keep Arizona communities safe, and ensure the humane treatment of migrants.”
Kelly and Hobbs, both Democrats, and Sinema, an independent who was elected as a Democrat, also criticized “partisan politicians who parrot talking points while watching the border further deteriorate.”
They said those politicians should instead ”reject the echo chamber and work with us to get something done and keep our communities safe.”
An average of 3,140 people in vehicles and 184 pedestrians entered the U.S. daily in Lukeville during October, according to the U.S. Transportation Department’s latest figures.
Travelers will still be able to cross into or out of the United States through Nogales, Arizona, a three-hour drive to the east, or San Luis, Arizona, a two-hour drive to the west.
Customs and Border Protection earlier this week began limiting traffic at the Lukeville port. The agency on Monday also closed one of two bridges to vehicles in Eagle Pass, Texas, a town of about 30,000 people that, for a while last year, was the busiest corridor for illegal crossings.

A remote part of the Arizona border is being overrun by a massive surge of mainly adult male migrants from across the globe, including countries in Africa and the Middle East — just as the state’s Tucson Sector has seen record numbers of crossings in recent days.
Fox News was on the ground in Lukeville, Arizona, where Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have been forced to close the local port of entry due to the surge in illegal entries. Fox footage showed that, as of Tuesday morning, hundreds of single military-age men camped out against the border wall waiting to be processed into the U.S, and not a single woman or child among them.
Of those camped out, there were a large number of Africans from countries Senegal, Guinea, Mauritania, Egypt and elsewhere waiting to be processed and potentially released into the U.S. Others were from the Middle East and Asia.

One man told Fox that he paid $10,000 to a smuggler to travel from Mauritania via Colombia, while a man from Guinea said he was planning to head to New York City if he was released into the U.S.
The Tucson Sector saw nearly 3,000 encounters in a single day and has seen 17,500 encounters in a single week, the highest weekly total ever recorded.
Meanwhile, Fox cameras caught a moment when migrants exploited gaps in the border wall — which were being repaired by federal contractors — and rushed through the gap and into the United States before it could be fixed.
The situation has sparked outrage from local lawmakers. Rep. Juan Ciscomani , R-Ariz., last week called for the deployment of the Arizona National Guard to the border, urging Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to recommend such action to the Pentagon.

Negotiations are ongoing in Congress over that supplemental, with Republicans wanting to see stricter asylum standards and limits on the administration’s use of humanitarian parole. However, some Senate Democrats have said that they would only agree to such policy changes if they were tied to an amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants already in the U.S.

Republicans have rejected that legislation, and instead introduced a bill of their own which would increase border security funding while increasing limits on asylum and the use of humanitarian parole. Republicans have blamed the ongoing crisis on the policies of the administration — including its rollback of Trump-era policies.
Similarly, the Border Patrol union has repeatedly blamed the administration, putting the surge in Lukeville down to an “open invitation” by the Biden administration.
“It takes a toll on the men and women [of Border Patrol] that are out there putting their lives on the line each and every day,” The National Border Patrol Council’s Art Del Cueto told Fox News.

Washington, D.C. — In a speech on the Senate floor today, Senator Ted Budd (R-NC) called on President Biden and Senate Democrats to include border security funding and policy changes in the proposed national security supplemental spending package.

The biggest threat to our national security right now is the wide open southern border.
For three years, the border has been in a state of crisis.
We have grown familiar with these numbers, but they remain historic and staggering.
Under President Biden, over eight million illegal immigrants have crossed the border.
Under President Biden, 279 individuals on the terrorist watch list have tried to illegally enter our nation.
Under President Biden, nearly 50,000 pounds of fentanyl has been seized at the border – That’s enough to kill every man, woman, and child in the United States.
Given the fact that we’re only able to interdict 5-10 percent of the illegal drugs that cross, our country is being overwhelmed with drugs that can kill with just a 2 milligram dose.
Under President Biden, there have been 1.8 million known got-aways – And that’s not counting all of the unknown got-aways, including terrorists, human traffickers, and other bad actors.
This crisis must be dealt with, and dealt with now.

But you know who can’t ignore it? The border patrol agents who are under siege right now.
In the times I’ve been down there, they have told me that, yes, we need a wall, we need border enforcement, we need funding.
But what we really need – in their words – is the policy changes that would empower them to stop the illegal flow of people, drugs, and crime.
You know who else can’t ignore this crisis? The sheriffs from all 100 of North Carolina’s counties.
Many of them have come up to me saying the same thing: Every single county in North Carolina is now a border county because of Joe Biden’s policies.
The bottom line here is that in order to be a strong nation, we have to have strong borders. And right now, we don’t have that.
So I want to call on President Biden to change course, work with us so that we can solve this crisis together.
We know what to do. All we need is a president who takes this seriously and fulfills his oath to protect and defend this country.
CAPITO AND MANCHIN SAY LEGISLATION MUST INCLUDE STRONGER BORDER MEASURES, BUT DIFFER ON ADVANCING IT

West Virginia’s senators each say they support financial aid to American allies along with increased support for securing the nation’s border, but they reached different conclusions on whether to advance legislation about those issues.
Senators did not gain enough votes for cloture for a $106 billion supplemental appropriation bill supported by the Biden administration. That’s a step requiring 60 votes to close debate and move toward voting on the actual legislation.
The cloture vote was widely expected to fail over differences on immigration, and it wound up being blocked, 49-51. Besides Republican votes against ending the filibuster on the legislation, Democrat Bernie Sanders was a no vote.
“We need to fix the broken border system — it is broken,” President Biden said from the White House today, adding that he is he is willing to make “significant compromises” on border policy.”
The legislation includes financial support for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan along with additional financial support for handling immigration. Particularly urgent is the request for aid to Ukraine, with the White House saying money is on pace to run out by the end of the month to support the fight against Russia’s invasion.
“We can’t let [Russian President Vladimir] Putin win. It’s in our overwhelming national interest, in the international interest of all our friends,” Biden said.
Republican senators generally have said they support most aspects of the bill but want a greater emphasis on deterrence in the aspects focused on the border.
Senator Shelley Moore Capito, R.W.Va., kicked off a series of speeches by Republicans on the Senate floor this afternoon, agreeing that she supports all aspects of the bill except that she believes the border measures need to be strengthened.
“We cannot achieve national security as a whole without securing our own borders,” Capito said in her floor speech.
She continued by saying, “Ukraine is facing an unjust and unprovoked ground war perpetrated by Russia. Our ally and friend in Israel is under attack by terrorists who are holding women and children hostage — and the recounting we’ve heard of sexual violence against the women in Israel on October the 7th is appalling.
“Our allies in the Indo Pacific face heightened concern as rival nations increase their aggression. And right here in the United States, we are facing the worst border crisis in our nation’s history. These four areas are directly tied together.”
Right now, the proposal includes $4.4 billion for the Department of Homeland Security and $3.1 billion for additional Border Patrol agents, asylum officers and processing personnel. It also includes $1.4 billion to help state and local governments with shelter and services for migrants. And the request seeks $1.2 billion in additional funding to boost narcotics detection and interdiction at the border.
Capito has said the bill needs more support for deterrence.
“We’re not just talking about funding, but rather changes that ensure that those who enter our country are coming through legal channels and that they are properly vetted,” she said.
“Sounds pretty simple to me, both things that we should all agree are necessary aspects of a working immigration system. But instead, this administration, the Biden administration, has incentivized abuses of our asylum laws that have led to the greatest border crisis in our nation’s history. It’s open borders, catch and release. And this has at turn, in turn, put our national security at risk.”
Senator Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., also expressed support for the aid package and said the border security measures need to be strengthened.
But in a written statement, Manchin said he would vote to move the legislation ahead because he had received assurances of more work on its border policy aspects.
“Commonsense should dictate that we need to secure our own border in addition to helping Ukraine and Israel secure theirs. In the greatest country on Earth, we do not have to choose between protecting our homeland and defending our allies. My support for Israel and Ukraine is unwavering but it does not supersede my commitment to my own country,” Manchin stated.
“We need major, structural reforms to limit the number of illegal crossings at our southern border and regain operational control. I am voting to proceed on this bill because I have received a commitment from Majority Leader Chuck Schumer that we can add amendments to the national security supplemental that will secure our border.”
