ALMIGHTY GOD – You know we have been hearing and singing that title all of our lives. At least most Americans have, but have any of us really understood the profoundness of that title? Do we comprehend the dynamics of its meaning? Can we even relate to it all?
Lets take a closer look at the opening scripture verses, and see how they apply to our modern world.
Leviticus: 26:14 “But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; 15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:”
Well, anyone who has been paying attention to the world dynamics today will tell you immediately that most of the world despises GOD and anything related to the bible. As a whole the people across the earth have turned their back on the God of the Bible and the Bible its self. They deny the existence of GOD and declare the Bible invalid and written by uneducated simpletons. COMMANDMENTS – oh good heavens, don’t even mention them. Why even bible believers will swear that those were done away with 2,000 years ago. We are NOT UNDER THE LAW, they will declare in an outrage. So, no question this verse applies to our current world.
16-1 “I also will do this unto you;
16-2“I will even appoint over you TERROR.” TERROR!?! Is that not current? The entire world is losing a war against terrorism at a rapid rate.
16-3 “consumption,” This is true today of everything, the ground, the ocean, the people, the natural resources)

4.Pathology.
Older Use. tuberculosis of the lungs. progressive wasting of the body.
16-4 “and the burning ague”
Ague [ey-gyoo] noun
-
-

2: a sudden violent emotion or action : outburst: a paroxysm of rage; a paroxysm of laughter
Surely you have seen the headlines of people going into fits of rage on the street, and have you seen the fits of “laughter” filmed in churches and accredited to the Holy Ghost? No one can explain the cause of any of these mysterious and frightening phenomenon. Some accredit it to the drug epidemic, some say it is caused by pagan worship and demons.
16-5 that shall consume the eyes,
How many of us are losing our eyesight to glaucoma and cataracts, or having to have eye surgery to treat them?
16-6 and cause sorrow of heart:”
How many people do you know who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, or heart problems, or are addicted to drugs or alcohol because they cannot cope with life?
17 “And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.”
And here you go. What is happening in nations all over the Earth? Immigration of nations hitherto unknown in our lands, nations where we have enforced our views and pillaged their goods. Now these nations are here and destroying our countries from within our own borders, terrorizing our citizens, raping and sodomizing our people.
18 “And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain:”
WHOA! Wake up people! God is clearly laying it out for you that the issues that are destroying you right now, come from HIM. In his mercy, he is trying to get your attention! These are brought on by PRIDE! He is removing the power and everything that fills us with PRIDE. Stripping us down to where we have nothing but HIM! People have come to rely on their own strength, education, courage to provide their wants, needs and desires. As long as we are prosperous, things seem to go just the way we plan. But, GOD has a plan of HIS OWN. And HIS PLAN is the ONLY PLAN THAT MATTERS. He is breaking us, to save us, from ourselves.
20.1 “for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.”
We are beginning to see this manifested already. It actually is worse than we know, because the “powers that be” have been hiding the truth from us. The food supply is nearly spent. The places that have been growing the majority of our food supply are being totally depleted and destroyed. Soon there will be VERY LITTLE TO NO FOOD. It is coming, folks, mark my words.
ALL of this is happening because human beings have lost the FEAR of GOD! That is the bottom line. Humans have become so arrogant that they treat GOD like something they can toss to the roadside. Convinced that they are capable of becoming super humans/Godlike they believe they can develop a better plan. lol, lol, lol.
GOD DEMANDS that you FEAR HIM! Don’t believe me? The following are a sampling of some of the scriptures that lay this out very clearly. He is not playing folks. HE IS THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS and HE will be respected and revered and yes, FEARED! He is not to be the butt of your jokes, your equal, or your servant. HE is not some Genie in the sky, waiting at your beck and call to fulfill all your fantasies. HE IS THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING! And HE makes the RULES. Yes, there are and needs be RULES!
Exodus 20:26– “And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.”
THUNDERINGS from the sky. Unexplainable and frightening! What are they? They have been reported and even recorded all across the Earth!

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord’s thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.”

Joshua 24:14&15 “Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
1 Samuel 12:14 “If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:”
1 Samuel 12:23-24 “As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right. But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.”
2 Kings 17:34 “Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;”

Psalm 9:16-20 “The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.”

Proverbs 24:19-24 “Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked; For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:”
Proverbs 2 “My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths: To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.”

Now you may be one of those who claims the “OLD TESTAMENT” does not apply, hang on to your hat and stay with me.
