The Bull

When we hear the word idol, we often think of statues and objects reminiscent of those worshiped by pagans in ancient cultures.

The bull cults in ancient Egypt are a prime example. Bull cults were popular from at least the First Dynasty. The powerful and virile bull was associated with the pharaoh, who sometimes took the epithet “strong bull of his mother”. As early as 3100 BC the king is depicted in the form of a bull. A sacred bull was identified by specific sacred markings. Once the bull had been confirmed as the incarnation of a god, it was housed in plush quarters, given only the best food, and provided with a harem of the best cows. The lucky animal would live in the lap of luxury until its death when it would be mummified and buried with full honors.

The most famous of the bull cults is undoubtedly that of the Apis bull. The bull was the incarnation of a god, but unlike the other animal totems (who only provided a link to the god) the Apis was thought to host the god himself. The Apis bull was originally viewed as the manifestation of Ptah. However, the Apis was soon linked to Osiris when Ptah and Osiris merged and so Plutarch described the Apis as the “fair and beautiful image of the soul of Osiris”. According to one myth, the Apis was the living embodiment of Ptah while he lived and Osiris when he died.

But, the Lord commands His people not to worship idols.

The story of the golden calf is found in Exodus 32:1–6. The children of Israel had been in bondage in Egypt for over two hundred years. God called Moses, the deliverer, and told him that He had heard their cries and was about to deliver them (Exodus 3:6–8).

During their time in Egypt, the Israelites had apparently begun to doubt the existence of the God their fathers worshiped because Moses anticipated some hard questions from them (Exodus 3:13). To help Moses prove the existence and power of God, he was given a number of miraculous signs to help the Israelites believe. After all of these miracles were done, including the ten plagues on the Egyptians, the Israelites came out of Egypt with a renewed belief in the God of their fathers. They passed through the Red Sea on dry land, while the Egyptian army was drowned, and they were brought to the mountain of God to receive His laws.

While Moses was up on the mountain receiving God’s laws, the people were getting anxious down on the plain. Moses spent forty days (Exodus 24:18) up on the mountain with God, and by the end of that time, the people were beginning to think Moses had died or left them.

The people urged Aaron, their temporary leader, to make gods for them to follow. Since they were accustomed to having visual representations of gods, this was the natural (but sinful) result of their thinking. Aaron took their gold earrings, which they had brought from Egypt, and melted them down to make a golden idol.

The idol he crafted for them was a calf, but Aaron maintained the name of the Lord in connection with it (Exodus 32:5). He was merging the pagan practices they were familiar with and the worship of the God they were just beginning to be re-acquainted with. Aaron called the people together and told them that the golden calf was the god who delivered them from Egypt. The people offered sacrifices and then engaged in pagan rituals, including orgies (Exodus 32:25) to worship this new god.

Why did he choose a calf/bull? His lame excuse to Moses—“It just came out of the fire like this!” Exodus 32:24)—was just a feeble attempt to dodge blame. He fashioned it with a graving tool (Exodus 32:4) and took great care to form it that way. The bull was a symbol of strength and fertility, and the people were already familiar with bull gods from Egypt. Bulls were also typical animals of sacrifice, so to use their image as a symbol of the god being worshiped was a natural connection. Aaron’s bull was a mixture of the powerful God who delivered the people through mighty works and the pagan methods of worship that were borrowed from the people around them.

They forgot that the exodus is not merely an escape from slavery. It is the beginning of a covenant, a pact with God that will lead to freedom: freedom from slavery, freedom from tyranny, freedom to attach their lives to their Father and constant Protector.

If you return, Israel—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
you will return to Me,
if you remove your detestable idols
from My presence
and do not waver,
then you can swear, “As the Lord lives,”
in truth, in justice, and in righteousness,
then the nations will be blessed by Him
and will pride themselves in Him. (Jeremiah 4:1-2)

The idols of the 21st century often bear no resemblance to the artifacts used thousands of years ago. Today, many have replaced the “golden calf” with an insatiable drive for money or prestige or success in the eyes of the world.

Some pursue the high regard of others as their ultimate goal. Some seek after comfort or a myriad of other passionate, yet empty, pursuits.

Sadly, our societies often admire those serving such idols. In the end, however, it doesn’t matter what empty pleasure we chase after or what idol or which false god we bow down to; the result is the same—separation from the one true God.

Understanding contemporary idols can help us to understand why they prove to be such a powerful temptation. Our “bull” can be anything we place ahead of God in our lives, anything that takes God’s place in our hearts, such as possessions, careers, relationships, hobbies, sports, entertainment, goals, greed, addictions to alcohol/drugs/gambling/pornography, etc..

The Abrahamic House in Abu Dhabi will foster interfaith reconciliation / The Jerusalem Post, November 2, 2020

The Abraham Accords are not the only recent peace treaty to originate in the UAE. Beginning in 2019 in Abu Dhabi, the similarly named Abraham Family House began construction, aimed at being a major center for interfaith reconciliation.

The site is set to be completed in 2022 on Saadiyat Island, and will contain houses of worship for the three Abrahamic faiths, meaning there will be a synagogue, mosque and church.

According to Euronews, each house of worship will be carefully designed, incorporating traditional materials and architecture used in all three faiths. Even the smaller details will not go unnoticed, with the church’s alter pointing east, the mosque pointed towards the Kaabaa in Mecca and the synagogue’s bimah and Torah scrolls set to face Jerusalem.

The project will also see the first official construction of a synagogue in the UAE, with the country’s small Jewish community currently using a private residence for worship. As a result, it represents a major step forward in interfaith reconciliation. And this is only furthered due to the ties established between the UAE and Israel, as residents of the Jewish state can now travel to the Abrahamic House.
And for some, this is the real opportunity presented by the Abrahamic House, as it allows Jews in Israel to foster interfaith bonds with their newest allies in the region.

The Abrahamic Family House, which encloses a synagogue, a church and a mosque in a single complex, and which is scheduled to be inaugurated in 2022, is 20 percent complete, the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF) said in a statement on Tuesday. The Committee, which is also supervising the project , said it is inspired by the 2019 Document on Human Fraternity. Constructed on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the project is closely followed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb of al-Azhar, who endorsed the design, the HCHF said.

The Abrahamic Family House derives its name from the Old Testament biblical figure, Abraham, who is recognized and greatly revered by Jews, Christians and Muslims.

“The Abrahamic Family House epitomizes interfaith harmonious coexistence and preserves the unique character of each religion,” said Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture Abu Dhabi and an HCHF member. He said, “It personifies Abu Dhabi’s vision for human fraternity and embeds coexistence into the already diverse cultural fabric of the UAE. Overseeing the development of this iconic project is inspiring and reflective of the UAE efforts in realizing the values of the Document on Human Fraternity and fostering its lofty principles.”

He explained that the names of the three houses of worship recognize the work of the Grand Imam, Pope Francis and Moses Ben Maimon, and “harnesses their teachings to forge a message of goodwill for future generations around the world”.

The “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together”, simply called the Document on Human Fraternity, was signed on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam during the Pope’s visit to Abu Dhabi.

On Faith: Abrahamic Family House … yes! The Barre-Montpelier Times Argus, December 4, 2021

The three houses of worship resting on one foundation is an architectural representation of the relationship between these three world religions, which are the three main monotheistic faiths that are followed by more than half of the world’s population — and growing. By 2100, almost three-quarters of the world’s population will be either Christian, Muslim or Jewish. The percentage being Jewish will remain very small, but the Jewish presence in the volatile Middle East makes them very important in any quest for world peace.

It is crucial to remind ourselves that Christianity and Islam recognize their origins in the original patriarchs and prophets of Hebrew scripture. Christianity accepts the books of the Hebrew Bible as part of the Christian Bible (the “Old Testament”). Islam accepts the great prophets of the Old and New Testaments: Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Job, Jonah, John the Baptist and Jesus — for Muslims, Muhammad is the last prophet. And Mary, the virgin mother of Jesus, is mentioned far more often in the Koran than she is in the New Testament.

Further, it is important to remember that the name for the one God in the Arabic language (in the Koran) is Allah, and this is simply a slightly different pronunciation of the Hebrew word “El/Elohim,” the most common name for the one God in Hebrew scripture. (Hebrew and Arabic are both Semitic languages, sharing thousands of the same root words.) Even more telling, if you are an Arabic speaker and you happen to be Christian (yes, there are many Arabic-speaking Christians) you call God the Father, Allah. Jews, Christians and Muslims worship the same supreme, one God. This is a historical fact. It is borne out by historical linguistic analysis and by modern anthropology. There are subtle differences in our human understanding of God, but God is God and God and Allah are one and the same.

The fundamental fraternity and similarities between the world’s monotheistic religions are more important for peace than their differences. The Catholic Church has officially recognized this since the Second Vatican Council of 1962–65, and this teaching is reflected in the Catholic Catechism (1992 edition), which states: “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place among whom are the Muslims; they profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day (CCC 841).”

Chrislam is our 21st century act of syncretism, by trying to promote a culturally designed combination religion of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism in the interest of peace. This interfaith apostasy is our modern version of the worship of the golden calf (created by Aaron as a combination of  the Egyptian bull deity and the God of Israel). The Lord ordered Moses to go down the mountain at once to stop this abomination.

The stated goal of the “Chrislam” interfaith movement was to promote understanding between different religions to increase acceptance of others, and to facilitate cooperation between faiths for humanitarian service projects. The actual result is the preaching of Islam in many Christian churches – and the beginnings of a umbrella organization that will ultimately form a one-world religion.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:1-6)

The “Jesus” in the Quran is neither the only-begotten Son of God nor the Messiah who was divinely appointed to restore the House of David. He is rather viewed as a prophet who was appointed by “Allah” to prepare mankind for the coming of Mohammad (the “Beast”).

What really is “Chrislam”? It is the ecumenical joining of all faiths by groups like the Vatican, the 2019 Document on Human Fraternity, the King Abdullah Center, the Interfaith Alliance, the Alliance of Civilizations, and the World Council of Churches, using peace as a tool to replace core Christian beliefs with a type of “spirituality”.

This religious deception is the first horseman of the apocalypse! And this isn’t referring to deception coming from non-Christian religions. Jesus said many people would be deceived about His message – about what true Christianity really is.   

Don’t fall for this “golden calf.” The fact is that there are irreconcilable conflicts between Christianity and all other religions. Christianity alone makes provision for man’s basic need – the forgiveness of sin.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

The Abraham Accords

The ‘Abraham Accords’ is the culmination of all the work done by Pope Francis and the Vatican in creating the One World Religion of Chrislam. With this agreement, Chrislam took a giant step forward in realizing the signing of what will culminate in the 7-year covenant foretold in the Book of Daniel:

He will make a firm covenant
with many for one week,
but in the middle of the week
he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering.
And the abomination of desolation
will be on a wing of the temple
until the decreed destruction
is poured out on the desolator. (Daniel 9:27)

In fact, the ‘Abraham Accord’ is the missing link the Vatican needed to complete its launch of Chrislam, otherwise known as the Abrahamic Faiths Initiative.

The Abrahamic Faiths Initiative which convened 25 senior global religious leaders representing a range of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities for a two-day working dialogue at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, was inspired by Pope Francis and Al-Azhar Grand Imam Al-Tayyeb’s 2019 Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together.

There is a plan to make a one-world religion that would harm us in ways that we do not perceive.  God is warning us to not become a part of this fellowship of apostate Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other religions melded together to form a one world religion that all must follow.  All this is supposed to be done in the name of PEACE.

We believe that the Beast, assisted by the False Prophet, will soon finalize the Israeli-Palestinian “land for peace” treaty, which will allow the Third Temple to be built. This will begin the dark 7 year period called the Tribulation.

What is wrong with a “peace and security” agreement? Who would not want peace, especially Israel, who is surrounded by potential enemies? What does the Word say?

And the Lord responded: “Look, I am making a covenant. I will perform wonders in the presence of all your people that have never been done in all the earth or in any nation. All the people you live among will see the Lord’s work, for what I am doing with you is awe-inspiring. Observe what I command you today. I am going to drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. Be careful not to make a treaty with the inhabitants of the land that you are going to enter; otherwise, they will become a snare among you. Instead, you must tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, and chop down their Asherah poles. You are never to bow down to another god because Yahweh, being jealous by nature, is a jealous God.

“Do not make a treaty with the inhabitants of the land, or else when they prostitute themselves with their gods and sacrifice to their gods, they will invite you, and you will eat their sacrifices. (Exodus 34:10-15)

One of the critical signs are pointing to the imminent Rapture of the Church is a comprehensive peace plan that allows the rebuilding of Jewish Temple.

An upcoming comprehensive international peace treaty is the major End Times sign, and indicates the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation. It is the prophetic trip wire that is more critical than any other modern sign.

The False Prophet is using Chrislam as a foundation for the Israeli-Palestinian peace treaty, which will allow the Third Temple to be built.

Gulf states see Macron victory as positive development

The UAE congratulated Emmanuel Macron on his victory in the presidential election in France.

Abraham Accords author Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, congratulated French President Emmanuel Macron, on his re-election as President of France.

Now that the dust is settling on the recent presidential election in France, Emmanuel Macron is going deeper into the Muslim world by bolstering ties with Abraham Accords author Mohamed bin Zayed, who is also the right hand man of Pope Francis on the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity we like to call Chrislam. This means that we will soon see some major progress on the Abraham Accords, and it will come through Emmanuel Macron.

Let’s just stop and pause for a moment, and consider the complex and intricate turn of events that have led us to where we are right now on the end times timeline. At the same time that Jared Kushner was creating the Abraham Accords with Mohamed bin Zayed, Pope Francis was secretly meeting with Mohamed bin Zayed to set the stage for the signing of the covenant between the Roman Catholic Church and Islam known as the Declaration of Human Fraternity. The same problem – how do you get peace between Jews and Muslims – was being attacked from both sides at the same time, with the same man, Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed, the link pin throughout the whole thing. Now we add Emmanuel Macron to that exact same mix, as this article today will show you, and what do you wind up with? The biblical man of sin on the verge of being revealed so we who are sitting on Flight #777 can get up and out of here. But please, go back to being distracted with Roe v. Wade and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Gulf states see Macron victory as positive development

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: The UAE has congratulated Emmanuel Macron on his reelection in France. The Gulf states could benefit from renewed French interest in the region. The UAE signed a historic deal to purchase 80 Rafale warplanes made in France last year. France is also close to Egypt, Greece, Cyprus and the UAE in many security discussions.

“President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a cable of congratulations to Emmanuel Macron on his reelection win as President of France,” Khaleej Times media in the Gulf reported. “Sheikh Khalifa wished Macron continued success in achieving more progress and prosperity for the people of France, stressing the UAE’s keenness to continue developing relations between the two countries in various fields for the common good and interest of their peoples.”

“His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent two similar messages of congratulations to Macron,” the report said.

The UAE was “one of the French defense industry’s biggest customers,” France 24 reported last year.

The UAE also agreed to buy 12 Caracal military transport helicopters, the French presidency said in a statement at the time, according to reports. “This is an outcome of the strategic partnership between the two countries, consolidating their capacity to act together for their autonomy and security,” the statement said.

“The Arab countries – especially the Gulf states – are looking forward to more cooperation with Paris in the next stage, as President Macron was and still attaches great importance to his country’s partnership with the Arab Gulf states, specifically Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which he visited on his last Arab tour months ago,” the report said. READ MORE
