Ok, Folks, this could be crucial not only for those living in the Eastern portion of our Nation, but for all of us. If this thing occurs the way they are predicting, it will devastate our entire nation. Millions of lives will be lost. The rest of us will be affected you can count on it.
Included in this post is everything that I have on the coming tsunami events. I blended together all the articles, mostly from Hal Turner and The Watchman. They are posted in here as received so the oldest pieces are first and the most recent news is at the end. If you want to start at the bottom and work up, that is fine.
If and/when I receive any updates I will add them to this post or create a new one and link it.
I do want to tell you that I had receive notification that the La Palma Alert had been updated to ORANGE or LEVEL However, the postings related to that have been removed from all outlets. I don’t know why or what that means. I will continue to search for updates and documentation of the Alert Status. Which I will post here.
Be PREPARED not Scared!! Have FAITH IN GOD. Keep Looking UP!! OUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH!

2021-10-13 Quake News & Updates
Quake Watchers,Seismic activity has increased worldwide the past three days.La Palma continues erupting. A brief update on what is happening can be found in the Volcano Activity section and the Earthquake Forecasting Principles section of tonight’s update.See the current issue of the Quake News & Updates.Watch and see!The WatchmanEARTHQUAKE FORECASTING PRINCIPLES:
I have increased the top-end potential for the forecast magnitude range for the Canary
Islands, in the event of a blow-out eruption. I now believe such an eruption may occur on
La Palma in the coming days. Whether it results in splitting off a large portion of the island
or not, I do not know. Time will tell.
While it is possible the eruption could fizzle out gradually over time, the current violent
behavior of the volcano makes me think that will not likely be the case.
The volcano is again less noisy today than several days ago, but the volume of lava continues
to be very high, and the earthquakes continue with higher magnitudes, although overall
numbers of quakes are somewhat less than the previous update.
I watch the earthquakes as the best indicator of what is happening and what may happen in
the future. I am watching the depth of the quakes, the frequency, the time intervals between
quakes, and the magnitudes to tell me if we are getting closer to a blow-out eruption (like Mt.
St. Helens back in 1980).

Thousands Freed From Spain’s La Palma Lockdown As Volcano Cloud Passes
La Palma, Spain:
More than three thousand residents of La Palma were allowed to leave their homes on Tuesday when authorities ended a lockdown ordered after a thick cloud of smoke erupted from a volcano that has devastated the Spanish Canary island.
A stream of red-hot lava gushing from the Cumbre Vieja volcano engulfed a cement plant on Monday, raising clouds of smoke and prompting authorities to instruct people in the area stay at home.
Emergency services told residents in the towns of El Paso and Los Llanos de Aridane to stay indoors, shut their windows and turn off air conditioning units to avoid inhaling toxic fumes from the burning cement plant as it was gradually swallowed by the lava.
On Tuesday, authorities said the smoke cloud had passed and the air quality had improved so 3,500 residents could leave their homes.
La Palma airport remained open but 11 flights were cancelled on Tuesday and others were delayed, airport operator AENA said.
There were 64 seismic movements on Tuesday, the strongest measuring 4.1, according to the Spanish National Geological Institute.
Lava from the eruption that began on Sept. 19 has laid waste to nearly 600 hectares in total, said Miguel Angel Morcuende, technical director of the Canary Islands Volcanic Emergency Plan.
After the volcano’s cone partially collapsed on Saturday, a new river of lava streamed towards the sea, devouring banana and avocado plantations and most of the remaining houses in the town of Todoque.
Torrents of molten rock have destroyed 1,186 buildings in the three weeks since the eruption, the Canary Islands Volcanic Institute said.
About 6,000 people have been evacuated from their homes on La Palma, which has about 83,000 inhabitants.

UPDATE: 10/12/2021; 12:36:27 AM
FOLKS, I am not qualified to give an opinion on who is right about this situation or what I think is going to happen. Quite frankly, EVERYONE is bewildered as to what is happening on that island. NO ONE can tell you with any certainty what is going to happen let alone, when it is going to happen. We are all in the dark.
But, I will say that with everything that is going on in this world right now, do you really want to take a chance? If there is any where that you could go until this thing is over, go there. If you can. If you don’t have a job, or school or anything like that preventing you. GO, even if you have to camp somewhere.
Realize that if everyone waits until the last minute to try and get out of the way of the Flood Waters, NO ONE will get very far. Traffic will be a nightmare. All outlets will be blocked in no time flat.
If you have family you can visit…call them now and make arrangements. If you must hold your ground til a determination is made, have your escape route clearly laid out with alternatives set in case you have to make a switch. Take a test run to check for low ground, water bodies, and possible high traffic areas. Time your test and see just how long it will take to clear the area. Pack a backpack for each member of your family and keep them by the door. Water, non-perishable foods, flashlights, blanket, medical kit, emergency radio, phone charger, maps. Don’t count on GPS. Lay out your plan on a tangible map. Take some mace and a whistle for emergencies. You would be wise to have life jackets for everyone… especially little children.
I hope an pray this will all pass without any incident. No flooding, no tsunami, no power outage. No matter what, I pray that GOD will protect you and guide you.
I try to give you multiple opinions and sources for the updates. I will continue to bring what I find as I find it.

Subject: WARNING FROM GEOLOGIST AT LA PALMA: leave coastal towns IN USA NOW!!URL: https://youtu.be/YAu0lLjJ5zg?t=2189
A geologist working at La Palma:
GEOLOGIST WARNS:
“Please don’t mistake this moment.
Prepare your families now and leave coastal towns NOW.
Stay at family or friends houses further inland.
Do this until the seismic activity has ceased.“I am a geologist currently working under an NDA as a contractor to develop a plan of action in the event of a cataclysm. According to a memo I recently received from my employer a decision has been made that any effort made to evacuate citizens will be untenable, and thus the need to even prepare or mitigate damages to life or property will NOT be executed.” W
“It was that very island which was currently seeing swarms of earthquakes, leading scientists to believe the volcano there will erupt,” according to a Telegram site, Battleground Research. “If it erupts and the southwestern flank falls into the ocean causing a tsunami as many expect it would, the US East Coast would be blind-sided because 80% of our tsunami warning buoys are not working.” https://t.me/WW3INFO/9221?single US EAST COAST WARNING BUOYS NOT FUNCTIONING
By FAR the BEST Canary Island Tsunami Documentary!!! (short)
URL: https://youtu.be/YAu0lLjJ5zg?t=2189 How the Tsunami Would Affect the Coast of USAThe odds of massive landslides causing equally massive tsunamis on the island located 700 miles off of the African Coast, were at a 50/50, with the odds increasing every day.
“Three of the five tsunami warning Buoys protecting the US East Coast was offline and a fourth was malfunctioning, leaving only one buoy in the Atlantic Ocean to warn Americans if a tsunami wave was coming at them from the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands.”
Although the La Palma volcano has been erupting for months the new and more accurate data came in last night at around 5:45 pm from seismic monitors installed just days ago on the island. They suggested the La Palma volcano has entered a stage in its eruption whereas a major fault line would soon cause part of the island to fall into the ocean.

According to PROJECT CAMELOT https://t.me/projectcamelotKerry/3486 the fault structure of the island was deep underground. The uplift in the fault zone was now over 12 centimeters. The fault has not been properly monitored since AD 2000 (Ward & Day Paper).
“We estimate (Ward & Day) the onshore waves to the UK would be 5 to 7 mts high (not great), more a danger to the East Coast of the Americas due to the directional bias of the energy outflow.”
“We again urge a contingency plan be formulated to warn low lying coastal towns of the English Channel, Irish Sea and Bristol Channel to prepare for what would be no more than a 6 to 9 hours warning from a major landslide.
“THIS IS NOT A DRILL. One is looking at flooding and probably 12 wave fronts, of which the second and third would be greater than the first after ‘draw back’ indicating the first wave is within one minute of impact. THIS IS REAL DATA from previous Pacific analysis of analyzed events. Be prepared to close the ‘Thames Barrier’ at very short notice.
The geologist on the island warned, “Because of the decisions made by my employer-by-contract, I feel as I have a unique duty in informing the masses (as best as I am currently allowed hence my posting here) that they are not going to be making any action whatsoever in the event a tsunami approaches.
2021-10-11 Critical Quake UpdatesQuake Watchers,I am in-between my usual 3-day updates, but there are things happening that won’t wait.I am expecting a series of above normal large quakes to begin striking across the world within the next 7 days mostly on the Ring of Fire and major plate boundaries. You will need to check my quake forecasts to know the specifics on how big these quakes could go.The near back-to-back large quakes in Hawaii and Alaska are indicators of major seismic force moving across and around the Pacific plate. The west coast of the U.S. is now coming under major seismic pressure. I expect to see a M5.4-6.4 quake striking along or near the San Andreas fault (inland) in southern California. I’m watching from south of Monterey Bay to the Gulf of California, with Los Angeles to Salton Sea being the most likely target areas for this large quake to strike. I would expect that on-going swarms in the region will be re-intensified.The Pacific Northwest should also be on ALERT for a possible large quake as well. I would expect any such quake would more likely strike off coast on the Juan de Fuca plate boundary. The tremors have been in the 500+ range now for several days.I am expecting quakes in the M6.4-7.7 range to strike in the South Pacific, with Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea being the most likely targets. I am watching for quakes in the M5.4-6.4 range to strike in most of the following regions: Taiwan, Guam, Myanmar, China, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, El Salvador, and Ecuador. I would also watch for quakes in the M4.2-5.2 range to strike in Greece, Albania, Croatia, Poland, and France/Pyrenees mountains. There’s going to be a whole lot of shaking going on the next two weeks!La Palma continues to erupt with intensity but the decibel levels of the roaring are down somewhat today and the ash levels are a bit less, so things seem a little calmer at the moment, but then this could be the calm before the storm, so it is not time to lose focus because it certainly isn’t over!By the time these larger quakes work their way across the world, La Palma will feel the brunt several days from now and surge higher, but it could also surge at any time.Watch and see!The Watchman

World
The left (northwest) side of the volcano which is erupting on the island of LaPalma, in the Canary Islands, Atlantic Ocean, off the northwest coast of Africa, BLEW OUT at about 9:00 PM eastern US time on Sunday night.
A 56 second time-lapse of the 15 minute event, appears below. The eruption which began September 10 is getting very much worse.
Here’s the side blow-out video:
To give you an idea of how stunning this situation actually is, take a look at the photos below. The left shows the road BEFORE the eruption began. The right shows THE SAME ROAD, after 20 days of eruption!
The volcano actually created two mountains in twenty days!
This is a far worse eruption than scientists ever predicted and, sadly, there is great danger for folks in the US and CANADA. This island is home to an unstable land mass the size of the island of Manhattan. During a previous eruption in 1949, that unstable land mass slid 14 feet toward the ocean, then stopped. It’s just hanging there.
If the present volcanic eruption shakes sufficiently, or long enough, that Manhattan island size piece of unstable land could resume its slide and go “plop” into the Atlantic Ocean . . . creating a Tsunami that would travel across the Atlantic and rise up along the entire US east coast with 100 foot tall waves coming inland 15-25 miles.
Entire cities would be wiped out.
Residents along the US east coast must keep abreast of developments in order to be able to evacuate in time if a Tsunami is generated.

Volcanic lava engulfs more houses
Buildings near the volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma were engulfed by rivers of lava early on Saturday, with the drama of the red-hot eruption intensified by the spectacle of flashes of lightning.
The magma destroyed at least four buildings in the village of Callejon de la Gata, Reuters witnesses said.
There were a series of 37 seismic movements on Saturday, with the largest measuring 4.1, the Spanish National Geological Institute said.
The Cumbre Vieja volcano began erupting on 19 September and has destroyed more than 800 buildings and forced the evacuation of about 6,000 people from their homes on the island.
Lightning flashes were seen near the eruption early on Saturday. A study published in 2016 by the journal Geophysical Research Letters found lightning can be produced during volcanic eruptions because the collision of ash particles creates an electrical charge.
The lava from the volcano has engulfed over 150 hectares (370 acres) of farm land, most of it used for the cultivation of bananas that are one of the main crops on the island.

Ash from the volcano which has been erupting from the island of La Palma has left authorities with little option but the close the local airport again. The volcano has now been active for nearly three weeks but still the island’s inhabitants appear no closer to a return to normal and the shutting of the airport will make it more difficult for locals to leave the island if required.

The neat little video from El Pais demostrates how the constantly shifting tectonic plates beneath the Canary Islands have produced the area’s unique island constellations. This process also, of course, was responsible for the ongoing eruptions on the island of La Palma which has now covered well over 400 hectares of land with lava.

How many active volcanoes are there in the Canary Islands?
In the last 1,000 years, the only eruptions in Spain have happened in the Canary Islands. This is due to their relative youth amongst volcanoes, with Cumbre Vieja being a mere 125,000 years old. They are still in the stage of volcano development, which means eruptions can still happen.
Volcanic activity “more explosive”
The Canary Islands Volcanology Institute (Involcan) has reported that the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano has become “more explosive” in recent hours.

The situation in La Palma to remain unchanged until Saturday
In today’s press briefing, María José Blanco. Director at the National Geographical Institute (IGN) explained that no changes to the current situation in La Palma are expected until the weekend at the earliest. “During the whole of Wednesday, levels of sulphur dioxide remained high, reaching levels of 13,100 tonnes per day. At the moment, as of 6 October, emissions of carbon dioxide from Cumbre Vieja was recorded 1,596 tonnes per day. We saw an increase in concentration of SO2 levels in the readings taken at Tazacorte, Los Llanos and El Paso. Particurly at El Paso were the maximum reading 667mg/m3 at 7 o’clock in the morning, exceeding the limit of 500 on two consecutive occasions”.
Air quality deteriorates as SO2 levels rise
Officials have warned any residents with respiratory issues on La Palma to stay indoors as levels of sulphur dioxide have risen on Thursday. “As for the quality of air, the classification can be broken down to very good, good, average, bad or very bad. At the moment the air quality can be described as average. Today, we are urging stricter measures, concerning all of those who might have lung complaints, asthma, those with cardiac or respiratory problems – we ask them not to venture out of the house on to the street at all. If they do have to go out onto the street, that they use FFP2 face masks and remain out for the least time possible,” Miguel Ángel Morcuende told reporters this afternoon.

Cumbre Vieja has entered its “mature phase” says researchers
Cumbre Vieja has stabilised and is now in a “mature phase” as it enters the 19th day of acitivity. However María José Blanco, Director at the National Geographical Institute (IGN) explained that the volcano is not expected to stop errupting anytime soon but that should not be a cause for alarm. “I think media exposure and understanding of of volcanic phenomena puts the minds of the public at peace, and that is a good thing. We live in a zone which is volcanically active so we have to know what is normal and usual and distinguish between other, different kinds of volcanic behaviour,” she explained.

La Palma volcano: Strong ash emissions, field report
During most of day on October 4, the volcano produced a dense ash column that rose 2-3 km and drifted south or southwest, sparing the El Paso area this time, according to www.volcanodiscovery.com.
Lava flows continued to advance a bit both at the sea entry and widening some of the margins of the existing flow field. At the growing cone, activity remained intense. The summit vents seem to have more or less merged to one main vent in the central depression of the cone, probably as a consequence of the partial collapse, and were producing a pulsating lava fountain. The fountains were still tall, but slightly less vigorous and more pulsating in nature compared to previous days.

Could a tsunami occur in the Canary Islands?
One of the questions that has been asked ever since the 19 September eruption, is whether or not the activity on La Palma could result in a tsunami being generated.
Well, this was put, not for the first time, to the volcanologist Joan Martí who said that while “it is possible, it is not likely” to happen now, based on what he has seen with the evolution of the Cumbre Vieja volcano.

“We’re still in the middle of this…”
A river of red-hot lava gushing from the Cumbre Vieja volcano on Spain’s La Palma thickened throughout Monday, after the north side of the crater collapsed the previous night causing spectacular explosions, but authorities ruled out further evacuations.
Despite the heightened activity, the lava appeared to be following a similar trajectory to previous flows and avoiding areas that have so far been spared, Canary Islands’ regional president Angel Victor Torres said.
“We had to order a few lockdowns because of the air quality, but we are not planning to evacuate more people,” he said in an interview to TV channel TVE on Monday morning.
Torres said the volcano had emitted roughly three times the material expelled during the island’s last major eruption in 1971, in a quarter of the time.
He added that his administration planned to buy around 300 houses to accommodate those who lost their homes and said it was too early to tell how great the total damage would be.
“We’re still in the middle of this… if the lava keeps springing up in the same quantities we saw last night, the damage is going to be greater,” Torres said.
Roughly 1,000 buildings have been destroyed since the eruption began on September 19 and 6,000 people have been evacuated, mostly from the towns of El Paso and Los Llanos de Aridane, two of the main population centres in the island of 83,000 people.

La Palma volcano eruption already biggest on the island in more than 100 years
10:08 AM | BY: T
The eruption continues without significant changes this morning, with lava fountaining at the main vent, ash rising a 2-3 km and slowly drifting southwest, as well as a new lava flow from the now breached crater.
Already now, with only little more than two weeks of activity, it is significantly bigger than the two previous eruptions on the island during the past 100 years. The volume of erupted lava was estimated at 80 million cubic meters last Friday, and now probably more in the range of 100-120 million m3, surpasses both the eruptions of San Juan (1949, with 55 million m3 lava) and Teneguia (1971, 43 million m3 lava).
Latest data
According to the latest data, the lava flows have covered more than 400 hectares of land, including 31 km of roads and destroyed more than 1000 buildings. The lava flows reach a maximum width of 1250 meters, and have a height of 8-50 meters. The slowly growing sea delta forms a peninsula about 40 hectares, and adds to the southwestern coastal western plains formed by recent volcanic eruptions.
It was estimated that the eruption has so far emitted 250,000 tons of sulphur dioxide (SO2). The plume has been hovering around the Canary Islands, North Africa, the Mediterranean, parts of it drifted over the Atlantic, even reaching the Caribbean to the west and the Arctic in the north.

Deeper earthquakes appear
Earthquakes continue to occur and have been slowly increasing in numbers and magnitudes approaching magnitudes of 4.0 now. During the past 24 hours, there have been 31 quakes of magnitudes 3.0-3.9 and 47 quakes between 2.0 and 2.9, while smaller quakes cannot be detected due to the volcanic tremor noise.
While most of the quakes are still 10-15 km deep under the central area of the volcano, a cluster of new, deeper quakes has appeared at depths around 35 km under the northeastern flank. What these mean is uncertain, but they might reflect even deeper magma intrusions in the upper mantle, perhaps suggesting that a magma supply system is establishing itself from a very deep source. That in turn could mean that the eruption could be going on for a very long time.
At the ground, deformation rates seem to have been more or less stagnant, which means that magma intruding is balanced off by lava being erupted, or, in other words, the eruption is stable at the moment.

West Side of La Palma Volcano Cone HAS COLLAPSED
The “cone” of the erupting volcano on the island of La Palma, has suffered a west-side cone collapse. This is **NOT** the landslide that so many scientists have been concerned about for years, and there is NO TSUNAMI from this, but it is serious.
As shown in the image above, the entire west side (right) of the cone has fallen into the volcano, allowing several new rivers of lava to begin pouring out of the volcano. In addition, FAR MORE LAVA is now erupting out of the earth than ever before.
New lava rivers are flowing in different directions that the existing flows, meaning more homes and businesses down-slope will be destroyed.
In fact, almost the entire volcano mountain is now covered by flowing lava as seen in the live video below:
Yesterday, this web site reported that the island of La Palma has been vibrating so badly, it actually created visible “gravity waves.” That story, HERE.
Sulfur Dioxide Cloud Reaches Puerto Rico
A dust cloud from the Sahara desert, containing sulphur dioxide (SO2) originating from the volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma, has today, Sunday, October 3, affected the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico.
The cloud has reportedly caused a deterioration in the air quality of the Caribbean territory, and was disclosed through social networks by the Caribbean Astronomy Society. In online posts, the entity revealed how the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA) had detected the sulphur dioxide cloud.
Subsequently, the satellite had traced the origin back to the Canary Island of La Palma, and the Cumbre Vieja volcano. The volcano has now been active since September 11, and has allegedly emitted as much as 3,401 tons of sulphur dioxide per day into the atmosphere in its volcanic plumes.
The emission of these gases is becoming richer in sulphur and poorer in carbon over time, reflecting the emission of more degassed magma from a shallow conduit. The diffuse emission associated with the Cumbre Vieja ridge has reached values of 1,813 tons per day, and the emission of invisible gases does not represent a danger to the population.
Seismicity activity is reported to be similar to that of the first few days of the eruption, at depths of between 10 to 15km, although some have been at a greater depth than 20km.

2021-10-03 La Palma Eruption Update
BREAKING NEWS BULLETIN:8:30 p.m.The La Palma eruption is now in its 15th day of activity and continues with increasing intensity. At last report there were eight active vents producing lava. The lava fountains and lava flows have increased in volume over the past 48 hours. We have also seen increasing seismic activity, although magnitudes remain fairly steady in the M2.5-3.5 range for the most part. The depth of these quakes is reported to be in the 10-15 km range currently, so not at the surface – as was the case just prior to the initial eruption. On Friday, another new vent opened, producing a separate lava flow to the sea which has destroyed more homes and buildings. The total number of buildings destroyed is over 900 now. The lava delta has pushed farther into the sea, with estimates that it has created over 50 acres of new “land” on the island. The volcano has surges of loud explosions and then lulls in between them where the noise level decreases temporarily, only to rise again. Today the toxic “vog” (volcanic fog) was very thick for several hours before clearing in the evening. Those closest to the volcano and lava flows are wearing goggles, masks, and carrying umbrellas to protect them from the falling ash and toxic air. It is now a daily chore for many residents to sweep the ash from roofs and sidewalks, as well as plants, and other items.Scientists, research teams, and emergency personnel have again been moved back farther away from the volcano, due in part to the toxic fumes and poor air quality issues.Scientists are uncertain as to why the volume of lava is increasing at such a high rate, speculating on a secondary source of magma that is feeding the vents, coming from deeper in the earth. They have been surprised by the volume of lava that has been produced by the eruption, because it far surpasses their original estimates. This is a noteworthy point that I have reported repeatedly. Scientists typically underestimate the destructive power of most natural disasters, and often by a huge margin. So trusting scientists’ estimates is NEVER wise, and could even be deadly! To me, as an observer and student of volcanic activity, the eruption currently appears to be getting worse, given the fact that the seismic activity continues to grow and the lava volume continues at high levels. More vents and fissures are likely to open in coming days. All these things point to the likelihood of a stronger, more destructive eruption in coming days. Time will tell.In any case, the volcano shows no signs of slowing down or stopping any time soon. If earthquake numbers increase rapidly and magnitudes rise significantly, then I would think that another major eruption was imminent, but so far that has not happened. In the event of a large-scale explosive blow-out type eruption, it will not be logistically possible to evacuate the entire island in time, and thousands of lives will be in jeopardy both on the island of La Palma and possibly other coastal areas around the Atlantic.I remind my readers, that no one (including me) can accurately predict what will happen at La Palma, so being prepared is what we can do. Have you taken the warnings seriously? Are you prepared? There are certain inevitable risks involved with living on a volcanic island anywhere in the world. Those risks have to be weighed ahead of time, before making the choice to live in such a high-risk environment. Every part of the world comes with some level of risk that one needs to be aware of and prepared to meet.Several volcanoes have gone into eruption phase in recent days that were not previously erupting – in some cases for decades. We are in a time of increased volcanic activity worldwide. The La Palma eruption is not an isolated event, but one piece in a much larger puzzle.Watch and see!The Watchman

2021-09-27 La Palma Eruption Update
BREAKING NEWS BULLETIN:4:30 p.m.Early this morning around 6:00 a.m. local time a new swarm of quakes broke out in the southern part of the island of La Palma. A total of 16 quakes were reported. Around the same time, the lava flow completely ceased coming from the volcano, as did the explosions, and the volcano went quiet. This was followed by a thick black column of smoke rising from the vent, but no lava. The quakes ceased as well.Had the eruption suddenly ceased or was this just a momentary lull that would resume in a few hours? By early evening the answer was obvious: the volcano roared back to life with more red hot lava coming from the volcano. This is a typical sequence seen in strombolian type eruptions (like Mt. Etna in Italy). There will be strong activity followed by lulls, then a resumption of activity again, and the cycle then repeats itself.More than 500 homes have been destroyed by the lava and the damages are estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of euros. Most of the rest of the island that is not directly affected by the lava flow is seeing more or less normal daily life. The shops are open, traffic continues on main roads, and there seems to be no panic among the populace who are mostly only inconvenienced by this event. But for those who have lost their homes and everything in them, their lives are forever changed.Let me address some information that has been put forward on the internet that is purely speculation. The landslides that have been happening are common on this island and common in major earthquakes or volcanic eruptions here and elsewhere in the world. Even before the eruption, the same areas along steep cliff faces near the ocean were caving off in landslides. As for the “cracking” in the asphalt seen near the volcano, there are cracks in both older and newer asphalt roads all across the island. This is nothing new or out of the ordinary. There are plenty of cracks in the asphalt in cities and towns all across the world. It is a big jump of speculation to assume these are definitive signs that the island is going to split apart.Time will tell. Until then, we continue to watch and wait. The eruption continues as of this moment in time.Be advised, there are some on the internet who are now using the information in these Watchman updates to jump to conclusions about what will happen at La Palma without doing their homework first. Don’t confuse speculative theories with the facts as presented in these updates.Keeping You Informed,The Watchman

UPDATE: 09/27/2021; 12:10:20 AM
World
The west coast of the island of La Palma, where a week ago the eruption of a new volcano at Cumbre Vieja began, saw a SMALL, but spectacular, falling of rocks to the sea Sunday morning.
The event occurred at around 12:30 pm local time, on a cliff near the town’s port.
There was no earthquake at the time of the landslides, but there have been almost constant volcanic tremors and vibration caused by the massive movement of lava underground.
Video below shows a better view of one of the small, but readily visible, landslides.
The fact that these small landslides are happening is a bad sign. The fact they are happening on the coastline where there is NO LAVA FLOW, is a much worse sign, because it shows us how unstable the western flank of the island has actually become.
Lava is erupting about mid-altitude on the 6,000 foot tall sloping flank. Now landslides are happening all the way down at the waters edge. That might tell a logical person that the entire flank is beginning to shift toward the sea.
If that flank slides into the sea, it will generate s tsunami that can, about 7 hours later, hit the entire US east coast.
The size and duration of that tsunami is open to wide discussion, but the occurrence is not open for discussion. If the land slides, a tsunami will take place.
Persons on the US east coast should keep very close watch on this situation today, and consider moving inland by 50 to 100 miles, in the event of a large landslide on LaPalma. Don’t wait for authorities to tell you, do ti once you find out a large landslide ahs taken place.
Once authorities start telling the public to relocated, there will be panic and mayhem. Roads will clog and become almost instantly impassable.
Have you car fueled-up, a “go-bag” with clothes, medicines, canned food and can opener, a map and some place to evacuate to. Have this done in advance.
You DO NOT want to be one of the “masses” waiting in long lines to get gasoline in your car, or hurrying around looking for what to pack, while the roads fill up making it impossible for YOU to get out.
UPDATE 10:57 AM EDT —
This video gives a much better view – ground level – of what is starting to take place. Those rocks are NOT falling off the TOP of the hill, they are being pushed out from twenty to thirty feet BELOW the top. That means the ground is moving. This is not good at all!
Social media is now lighting-up with multiple videos

BULLETIN: CRACKS APPEARING IN ROADS
UPDATE 11:15 AM EDT —
OK, this is VERY not good. Cracks are beginning to appear on public roads TO THE SOUTH of the eruption. It is to the south where the danger of landslide is worst. These cracks, appearing to the south, and way low on the island, prove the entire landmass which scientists have warned for decades could “slide” into the ocean, is, in fact, moving.

2021-09-26 La Palma Eruption Update
Breaking News Bulletin:1:30 p.m.
The La Palma eruption event is now in its 8th day and continues with more violent explosive activity. Volcanic activity has intensified the past 24 hours. Witnesses report the volcanic activity last night was by far the worst they have experienced with this eruption since it began.Powerful shock waves continue to occur. Lava bombs the size of cars are being hurled from the mouth of the volcano up to a mile in height above the cone. The new vent that opened up on Friday has seen a partial collapse overnight and the speed of the lava flow now coming from it is much faster than what we are seeing at the older vents. It is also reported to be moving in a different direction and may quickly catch up with the older flows. This new flow has caught emergency crews off guard, who are now scrambling to get people out of the new danger zone. More people are now being hastily evacuated from the area and emergency crews have been ordered to remove their staging areas and command post farther away from the volcano.Over 400 homes have been engulfed by the 1,800 degree Fahrenheit lava which has reached over 45 ft. in depth in several areas. Initially, scientists predicted the lava flows would reach the ocean by the end of the first day’s eruption, but that did not happen, nor has it happened yet. The lava continues to spread out faster than it is moving toward the ocean. Instead of a narrow ribbon of lava snaking toward the ocean, we now see a widening expanse of slow-moving lava that is destroying more homes and buildings.Landslides are now occurring, though none as yet are exceedingly large. Anytime we see large quakes or major volcanic eruptions, we see landslides occurring due to ground shaking and what is happening at La Palma is no exception to this rule. The noise level near the volcano is deafening, making sleep almost impossible. The continuous loud roar is like the low rumbling of thunder (only louder). The frequent explosive bursts can shatter glass up to two miles away and damage ear drums of both people and animals.Due to increasing ash fall and the volatility of the eruption, the airport is now closed and evacuees are no longer being transported off the island by air. People who were waiting to evacuate (including tourists) saw their flights cancelled and many were stuck at the airport for hours. Ferry boats and other boats are now the only means of evacuation, and the waiting lines are long to get out.One of the primary crops that has been almost completed devastated is bananas. The ash fall burns the plant leaves and ruins the fruits. The banana industry employees around 5,000 people and this could be a huge financial loss for many island residents as well as the overall economic loss of the island’s number one agricultural export. The entire island is expected to be declared as a “catastrophe zone” this week by the Spanish government. The prime minister has visited the island and promised both financial aid and help to rebuild. We’ll wait to see if photo ops and political promises turn into anything of substance at any point in the near future. We won’t hold our breath. Talk is cheap. The good news is there are no deaths or severe injuries thus far. If the eruption gets much stronger, this could quickly change.Keeping You Informed,The Watchman

Cumbre Vieja volcano eruption, La Palma, activity update and field report: western portion of crater collapsed
Sun, 26 Sep 2021, 10:53
10:53 AM | BY: T
The eruption continues at fluctuating intensity and with significant changes at the morphology of the new crater:
During the course of yesterday, a significant portion of the western flank of the cone collapsed, likely during a series of rockfalls, leaving a narrow horse-show shaped breach, thus lowering the main vent, which continued to produce violent pulsating lava fountains at fluctuating intensity.
During periods, the jets of lava likely surpassed 500 m in height with individual bombs reaching perhaps up to around 1000 m in height. Jets usually were more or less vertical, but sometimes also oblique to the west, suggesting the presence of at least two closely-spaced vents.
The lava flow from the effusive vent on the NW flank of the cone seemed to almost cease during the evening, but later resumed, creating a new flow in the same channel. This lava flow was still active by the time we left the scene at around 10 a.m.
Violent spattering could be seen at the vent; the following video shows the high fluidity of the erupted lava:
Fluctuating intensity of lava fountains
The lava fountaining activity from the main vent changed somewhat as it became more fluctuating after late last night, switching from moderate to very intense during phases lasting several minutes.
After around 0.30 a.m. local time this morning, the fountains significantly decreased and switched to intermittent, weaker pulses. Later, they resumed and gained strength again, but decreased again in the early morning hours, only to pick up again a bit.
The associated ash plume was weaker than during the previous days, but still rose to approx. 3 km height and slowly drifted towards northeasterly directions.
In undisturbed areas around El Paso and Tacande, there is now a 3 cm thick deposit of black ash and lapilli from the ongoing eruption.
Seismic and deformation data
Tremor intensity remains high, but with significant fluctuations over periods of hours. Overall, its trend is either to be stable or even increasing. The latest GPS data suggest that ground deformation is slowing down and coming to a halt, suggesting that the overall magma effusion rate is now in balance with the supply of magma into the shallow reservoir feeding the eruption.
As to what might happen next, there can only be speculation at this point. For sure, it will be interesting…

Heat Sources Detected off La Palma Coast; Thousands Fleeing Island by Boat After Airport Closes
Thousands of people are now fleeing the Island of LaPalma as the volcanic eruption there continues to; grow worse. New heat sources appeared in the ocean off the island’s coast, and this expansion of the eruption is sending thousands to piers, trying to flee the island.
New heat reports from Europe’s “Sentinel 1” satellite show heat bloom coming from the ocean beneath LaPalma:
Island authorities are to install heat sensors to try to determine how vast the lava expulsion is, that’s taking place underwater.
The troubling aspect to this is clear: If the volcano is erupting a mile from shore up on the hill, and is now also erupting out in the ocean, then the entire area between those two points is clearly subject to the eruption, and that could cause the island to literally SPLIT APART.
Residents and tourists on LaPalma have been slowly and steadily leaving the island for days, via the airport. But the airport had to close this week because smoke, volcanic ash, and sulfur dioxide vapor has made flying dangerous.
Once the airport had to shut down, people starting heading to the piers to leave by boat, but the flow was manageable . . . until today.
When the heat blooms registered in the ocean, it caused a very big uptick in people trying to leave. Here is what the departure pier looks like today:
Better late than never, but things are only getting worse on the tiny island.
As shown above in the Municipality of El Paso, the only option for those who have seen their flights canceled and others who now want to leave, is to get on one of the boats that leave the port.
The surge of passengers has led the two shipping companies that operate with La Palma to increase the number of ships that cover the route between Santa Cruz de La Palma and the Los Cristianos dock, in the south of Tenerife.
Wil the eruption cause the island to split in half? No one knows. These people are not stayi

UPDATE: 09/24/2021; 2:22:10 PM
UPDATED 10:53 AM — The ongoing eruption of the Cumbre Viejo volcano on the island of LaPalma, in the Canary Islands, is getting downright ferocious.
Lava Bombs the size of cars are being hurled upwards of a MILE from the mouth of the volcano, accompanied by explosion sounds so fierce, they’re shattering windows of buildings up to two MILES away!
Pyroclastic flows are being ejected up to 2km from the eruption zone!
Today the local fire department was ordered to withdraw farther from it’s week-long location because the lava bombs are coming out at random and landing everywhere. The shockwaves from the explosions can harm human beings.
RSAM Going off the chart!
Real-time Seismic-Amplitude Measurement (RSAM) was developed by the USGS to summarize seismic activity during heightened volcanic activity. Here is the LaPalma RSAM as of 10:40 AM EDT:
What this RSAM chart shows is that things are getting very, VERY, much worse.
Here is live video of the ongoing eruption and beneath it, recorded video showing large lava bombs being hurled from the volcano:
LIVE large lava bombs being hurled from the volcano
DIFFERENT ANGLE – LIVE (side of Volcano Cone has BLOWN OUT, Lava flowing)
This was a LIVE video cast and it is no longer available.
UPDATE 10:53 AM EDT —
Authorities are in a major panic / crisis mode, the new vent is releasing lava way more quickly and in a new direction and could well catch up with the old flow FAST. They are now evacuating many more people.
UPDATE 1:02 PM EDT —
Now a new vent has opened on the side flank of the active cone. Increase in explosive activity shattering windows up to 3km away.
Due to these developments, new evacuations have been ordered for Tajuya and the remaining parts of Tacande that were not already evacuated.

2021-09-24 La Palma Eruption Update
BREAKING NEWS BULLETIN:1:30 p.m.Today is the 6th day of the on-going eruption on La Palma.Inflation/uplift continues, despite the high volume of lava that is coming from multiple vents. Another new vent has opened today. We are now seeing significant explosive activity since yesterday. Powerful and sometimes visible shock waves with the associated sonic booms are occurring, breaking windows nearly two miles away. Because of the increase in explosive activity, the towns of Tajuya and Tacande are now being evacuated. Seismic activity continues. The ash and steam plume has reached over 13,000 ft. high. The ash fall and black smoke makes it difficult to breathe and authorities are warning people to stay indoors. With the increasing ash fall, the threat of roof collapse becomes more likely. Volcanic ash is 30 times heavier than snow and it doesn’t take much accumulation (less than 2.5 inches) to cause a collapse of most types of roofs in this area.Spectacular lava fountains continue reaching over 1,000 ft. in height. Over 320 homes have been destroyed by the lava flows thus far and this number is expected to rise. The lava flows have now slowed and spread out, not yet reaching the ocean.Large plumes of sulfur dioxide are now blowing to the east and northeast following the northern coast of Africa and the coasts of the Mediterranean. This pungent “rotten egg” smelling gas is now blanketing these areas and will continue for much of the duration of the eruption with winds aloft being the only variable that would change this.Speculation continues as to how long this eruption could continue. Some scientists are now projecting up to 84 days – higher than the original range given of 25-75 days. It remains to be seen, and speculation is just that – speculation. The previous eruption in 1971 lasted three weeks.I continue to monitor this event and provide updates as new information becomes available.Keeping You Informed,The Watchman

UPDATE: 09/22/2021; 4:41:48 PM
2021-09-22 La Palma Quake Update
Volcano Watchers,
BREAKING NEWS BULLETIN:Today is the 4th day of the on-going eruption on La Palma. The eruption has not stabilized, and seismic activity continues. The sound of the “blowing” volcano is so loud, that people can hear it for miles, making night time sleep almost impossible, with the booming of the quakes and explosions. Scientists have said that based on past precedents on the island, the eruption may last anywhere from 25-75 days. But there are a lot of factors that go into making such a prediction.USGS has now officially declared it an “impossibility” that an Atlantic-wide tsunami could occur as some have theorized. USGS also said earthquake forecasting was “impossible” and we know how that turned out to be false. I do NOT believe such an event is impossible, only improbable (not likely). I find USGS to be unreliable on so many fronts that I rarely believe anything they say, so take it with a grain – a big boulder – of salt!Deformation continues with up to 30 cm of uplift in some areas, indicating again that more magma is coming into the system than is being released, and it continues to build even with what some sources are reporting as much as 9-11 fissures. This suggests more fissures will open to help relieve the pressure. We could yet see significant explosive activity. We already have lava fountains that shot 10,000 ft, into the sky overnight. Lava flows have reached heights of 60-75 ft. in some areas. Over 185 homes have been destroyed thus far with some suggesting up to 1,000 may well be engulfed before it ends.An acrid smoke is covering the landscape, along with volcanic ash causing respiratory issues. The lava has not yet reached the sea, but when it does, it will mix with the ocean water and cause steam explosions and more toxic smoke. Acid rain is also a concern.Yesterday, the town of Todoque (population 1,200) was completely destroyed by the lava flows. The towns of La Laguna and El Paso are being evacuated, expecting a similar fate. More than 6,000 residents have already been evacuated and more evacuations are anticipated. Residents were evacuated with the help of government troops and local emergency fire and rescue crews. There will be nothing to ever come back to – it will all be covered by literal tons of lava rock. And what is worse it that in many cases is there is no where to go.Overall, seismic and volcanic activity continue and are increasing, so again, it isn’t all over with and done, there is still much that should concern us. I do not think that people on the island or in the media are cognizant of the degree of danger this situation represents, nor serious enough about being prepared. I continue to monitor this event and provide updates as new information becomes available.Keeping You Informed,The Watchman
Three of the five Tsunami Warning Buoys protecting the US east coast are OFFLINE and a fourth is malfunctioning, leaving only ONE buoy in the Atlantic Ocean to warn Americans if a tsunami wave is coming at them from the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands. It is that very island which is currently seeing swarms of earthquakes, leading scientists to believe the volcano there will erupt. If it erupts, and the southwestern flank falls into the ocean causing a tsunami as many expect it will, the US east coast will be BLIND-SIDED because 80% of our tsunami warning buoys are not working.
We begin with Warning Buoy 41421, which is Owned and maintained by the U.S. National Data Buoy Center. It is described as a 2.6-meter discus buoy carrying the “DART II payload” which is the set of scientific instruments the device uses to report water and weather conditions. It is located at:
23.373 N 63.902 W (23°22’23” N 63°54’7″ W) known as “NORTH ST THOMAS” – 300 Nautical Miles North of St Thomas, Virgin Islands where the ocean water depth is 5844 meters.
This buoy has failed to report any data at all since September 13. Here’s what you see when trying to read its data:
Next is Warning Buoy 41420 known as Station 41420 – NORTH SANTO DOMINGO located 328 Nautical Miles NNE of Santo Domingo, DO which is also Owned and maintained by U.S. National Data Buoy Center. It is also described as a 2.6-meter discus buoy with the DART II payload
located at coordinates 23.370 N 67.517 W (23°22’12” N 67°31’0″ W) where the water depth is: 5769 m
Trouble is, the Buoy isn’t there anymore; it “went adrift on September 5” and is not reporting any data. Here is what you get when trying to read its reports:
Satellite info shows it has drifted somewhere very far away from where it is supposed to be. In fact, it now seems to be somewhere near Brazil. Location reports for it show the following:
YYYY MM DD hh LAT LON 2021 09 17 01 25.4231 -65.8562 2021 09 16 01 25.1692 -65.8260 2021 09 15 01 24.7813 -65.8229 2021 09 14 01 24.4984 -65.8259 2021 09 13 01 24.2382 -65.8578 2021 09 12 01 24.0483 -65.9683 2021 09 11 01 23.9664 -66.1001 2021 09 10 01 23.8801 -66.3728 2021 09 09 01 23.7731 -66.7341 2021 09 08 01 23.7088 -66.9528 2021 09 07 01 23.6633 -67.1653
We now move onto Buoy 41425 known as Station 41425 – SOUTHWEST BERMUDA – 200 Nautical Miles SSW of Hamilton, Bermuda. Like the others, is shows as being Owned and maintained by the U.S. National Data Buoy Center and is described as a 2.6 meter DART buoy with the DART II payload at coordinates 28.633 N 65.650 W (28°38’0″ N 65°39’0″ W) where the Water depth is: 5279 m
Just one problem; it, too, has gone adrift. No readings since . . . ready for this . . . . August 24. Oh, and unlike the Buoy above, this one isn’t reporting its current location. It’s simply . . . gone.
For what it’s worth, DART BUOYS cost about $250,000 initially, and about $50,000 a year in maintenance. What are we getting for our money right now? Nothing.
Then, there’s the big one. The VERY important buoy; known as Station 44402 (LLNR 5) – SOUTHEAST BLOCK CANYON – 130 NM SE of Fire Island, NY also showing as Owned and maintained by the U.S. National Data Buoy Center, described as a 2.6-meter discus buoy with the DART II payload at coordinates 39.289 N 70.639 W (39°17’19” N 70°38’21” W) where the water depth is: 2656 m
This is the warning buoy that protects New York City. 8.5 Million people. Oh, and this one . . . seems to be malfunctioning . . . sometimes . . . . but often.
For weeks it has been triggering Tsunami Warnings off the coast of New York City. There haven’t actually been any Tsunamis, but the buoy is going into EVENT MODE and alerting almost every day.
Like the boy who cried wolf, when the real thing comes, people may just ignore it.
As most readers of this web site already know, there is an earthquake swarm hitting the island of LaPalma in the Canary Islands. The Cumbre Viejo volcano appears to be building up for an eruption and things are going bad there, fast. But this particular volcano has an unstable southwest flank, the size of Manhattan, NYC.
Scientists report that during another eruption, that flank is likely to dislodge and come crashing down into the Atlantic Ocean, causing a mega-tsunami; one which would reach the US east coast, about seven hours later, wiping out major cities.
All that while four out of five of our Atlantic Tsunami Warning Buoys are offline or malfunctioning.
So we get no alert.
8.5 million people, going about their daily lives and then . . . . Surprise!
Hal Turner Opinion: This is how much the federal government takes care of its responsibilities. Warning Buoys designed to protect the lives of millions, offline for over a month in some cases, and the feds do nothing.
For what it’s worth, all these Buoys WORKED during the Trump Presidency. But now that Democrats stole the Presidency in the November, 2020, election, THEY run the show. And since Democrats only seem interested in lining their own pockets, I guess the rest of us can just go to hell. Or maybe get washed out to sea . .
Is there a Mega Tsunami coming now? I ask a Geologist live on site. Volcano eruption La Palma
World
UPDATED 3:15 PM EDT — GETTING WORSE: La Palma Volcano Update
Lava flows from the eruption of the Cumbre Viejo volcano on the Island of La Palma in the Canary Islands, off the northwest coast of Africa, continue to crawl relentlessly towards the sea, destroying everything in their path. Another new ‘mouth’ of the volcano has opened spilling lava, an earthquake measuring above 4 on the Richter Scale hit this morning and now, a tear is forming on the east side of the island in Santa Cruz.
Click HERE to go directly to the 3:15 PM Update
The EU Sentinel 1 satellite has sent images back from space that shows the lava from the Cumbre Vieja volcano now covers an area of 106 hectares and is now just a few kilometers from reaching the sea, a moment that will be crucial in the evolution of the eruption because toxic gases will be released.
THE HYPER-ACCURATE MAP IMAGERY BELOW CAN BE ENLARGED. CLICK IMAGE (TWICE) TO MAXIMIZE:
At around 4AM this morning (Tuesday), satellite images have shown that the main tongue of the lava has destroyed a total of 166 homes and over 300 pieces of agricultural land, but officials fear that up to 1,000 homes will be lost by the time this is over. In total there are now 6,000 evacuees due to the eruption, and in many cases, they have lost their homes and only have a single bag of belongings with them.
Those affected who have not been able to stay with family and friends have had to travel to the evacuation centers, which were activated on the island after the eruption, and hotels and members of the public have also offered to accommodate them.
Seismograph readings still show very forceful flow of magma from deep inside the earth, with no sign at all of any slowing:
The good news from yesterday was that the speed of the descent of the lava flows dropped to 300 meters per hour, less than half of what it was, but that is because the lava is incredibly THICK, not at all like the images seen from other eruptions in places like Hawaii, where the lava was thin and easily in the next few hours, it will finally reach the coast.
According to data, the temperature of the lava has risen to 1,100 ºC and experts fear that when it comes into contact with the water, it will release a large amount of toxic gases (known as LAZE) that will flood the island of La Palma, killing everything that breathes it in. The fact it is moving more slowly will be a benefit for the rate they are produced.
LAZE
Laze — or lava haze — is the dense cloud of glass shards and hydrochloric acid created when basaltic lava enters into the ocean.
The shards and acid are enough to damage your lungs severely. The glass, formed in the heat of the lava, solidifies when it instantly cools in the ocean water, and then floats in the air. When it is breathed in, the tiny shards of glass begin slicing-up your lungs from the inside. Death soon follows as victims drown on their own blood from the countless cuts on the inside of their lungs.
MORE QUAKES
Days after the eruption of the volcano, the earth continues to shake and last night a quake of 3.8 Magnitude shook the ground and opened the 9th ‘mouth’ of the volcano for lava to spill from. This was followed by another earthquake of 4.1 Magnitude early this morning in the area of El Paso, and another of 3.2 Magnitude just after 6am. It has also been announced that the maritime exclusion zone is being expanded from two to three kilometers around La Palma due to the danger of the volcanic eruption.
The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, is still on the island and visited families affected by the eruption who have lost the homes they have lived in their entire lives. In a press conference, he said: “The volcano continues to be active and we have to take extreme precautions. All of Spain is with La Palma and you will receive all the resources of the state to alleviate the harsh situation that looms over the island.”
TEAR FORMING IN SANTA CRUZ
Extremely worrying is that the island is beginning to show a TEAR forming far away from the eruption. The eastern city of Santa Cruz has now begun seeing the ground tearing open beneath parked cars as seen in the video below:
Santa Cruz is nowhere NEAR where the eruptions are happening. Here is a scalable map from Google showing the location of the city:
It is all the way on the far EASTERN side of the island. The fact that the ground is now sinking along the eastern coastline is indicative that a tear is forming at that part of the island. If the island tears apart, the ramifications for an Atlantic Tsunami grow exponentially.
TSUNAMI MODEL
The University of Southern California did a study showing that a new eruption of the Cumbre Viejo volcano on LaPalma __could__ cause a massive landslide, with a section of the island the size of Manhattan, New York City, literally sliding-off into the Atlantic ocean. Here is the peer-reviewed report about such a possibility:
The history Channel did a piece on this possibility with one of the study’s authors, Simon Day:
If that were to take place, the east coast of the United States (and Canada) would see major cities utterly inundated, with unimaginable destruction and deaths.
From the report above, these charts show the potential tsunami hitting the USA (Click each row to enlarge):
and Here:
And finally, here:
A number of people have begun claiming “this cannot happen.” Not to put too fine a point on it, they’re wrong.
On May 18, 1980 Mount St. Helens in Washington state, had gone through WEEKS of normal eruption without any indication at all what was coming. Then, without any warning at all . . . THIS happened:
This was the largest landslide ever recorded in human history.
For reference purposes, the amount of dirt and rocks that you see sliding in the video above . . . is seven-hundred-times SMALLER than what exists at LaPalma.
If LaPalma slides, the tsunami modeled above, very much CAN happen.
PLAN . . . NOW
Folks along the eastern seaboard of north America should HAVE A PLAN.
There’s no need to panic, if you HAVE A PLAN.
Where will you evacuate to?
What route will you use to get there?
If that route is blocked, what alternate route will you use?
Do you have a “Go-Bag” for each member of your family containing clothes, medicine and some small amount of food?
It might be a good idea to pack them up well in advance, just in case.
If a collapse happens on LaPalma, it will take about SEVEN HOURS for the resulting tsunami to arrive at the east coast. BUT . . . .
and this is a big “but . . .”
Once the alert goes out to the general public, literally MILLIONS of people who have no idea at all what’s going on, and who have no plan at all, will flee for their lives.
It will be instant chaos. Mayhem.
Roads will turn into impassable parking lots with the enormous surge of traffic.
People, fearing for their lives, will go “Mad Max” trying to escape. (continued below Ad)
So YOU need to have a plan to get out early. YOU need to be ready to bolt to safety BEFORE the millions start to panic and flee.
Make that plan, today.
Keep abreast of developments on LaPalma.
This is life and death.
For what it’s worth, the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency actually has a forecast for such a disaster. Their forecast asserts . . . ready for this . . . . 65 MILLION Americans will be killed in such an event.
Whether YOU and YOUR FAMILY are among the dead, is really up to YOU.
Plan now, just in case, while you still can.
For those of you still not convinced this tsunami can happen, bear in mind this same type of volcano flank-collapse with Tsunami, DID happen, with the volcano Krakatoa in the Indonesian Islands, in the year 2018! Here’s the scientific report in the Journal “Nature” — Click HERE
UPDATE 12:21 PM EDT —
New readings from the Satellite-enabled GPS instruments at the far south of the island of LaPalma show that the lift CONTINUES despite the flow of lava.
The southern end of the island is being pushed up from underneath, and has now risen 24 centimeters, even after three full days of lava flowing out from vents. Here is the official government sensor reading:
This means the upward thrust continues, unabated.
What we’ve seen so far is clearly NOTHING compared to what’s coming.
UPDATE 3:15 PM EDT —
From the Government of Canary Islands: “The Canary Islands Seismic Network has been registering a strong increase in the amplitude of the volcanic tremor since the last 4 hours, which is an indicator of the intensity of the strombolian explosive activity in the active mouths (vents) at this time.”
(Hal Turner Translation: It’s STILL getting worse!)
MORE:
INVOLCAN, which is the official Volcano Monitoring System of the Canary Islands is showing that the pressure of lava flow out of the existing vents, it LITERALLY now “off the scale.”

Cumbre Vieja volcano eruption, La Palma: first lava samples
Volcanologists published the first image of a lava sample from the current eruption at the volcano. The lava is of basaltic composition containing phenocrysts of plagioclase and pyroxene.
Basalt is a fine-grained, mafic igneous rock characterized by lower viscosity and lower gas content related to hawaiian and strombolian eruptions.
Cumbre Vieja volcano eruption, La Palma: 1.54 square km have covered by lava flows
Impressive lava fountains continue to shoot into the sky from the four eruptive fissures feeding lava flowing slowly towards the coast.
Several lava flows form a spreading field of lava which has currently covered 1.54 square km by 21 September.
185 buildings have been already destroyed and more than 5,700 persons evacuated.
Evacuation of La Laguna has begun
As the lava flows seem to increase and new vents are feared might open up, the town of La Laguna is now being evacuated, our correspondents informed us.
Video of the lava fountains last night
Our correspondent Michael Risch on location filmed the lava fountains from the new vent last night:
Cumbre Vieja volcano eruption, La Palma: increasing tremor, lava flows destroy town of Todoque
16:13 PM | BY: T
The eruption continues with lava fountains from the new vent that opened last night and continuing lava flow emission. During the past hours, volcanic tremor has increased significantly, suggesting that output rate has increased or something else is changing. It will probably become clearer in the next hours what is happening.
During the past 24 hours, activity has been relatively stable. The advance of the fronts have slowed down and they remained at approx. 1 km from the shore, due to the fact that the flow fronts are now in less steep terrain, which causes them to widen significantly as well rather than progress. However, they are now slowly advancing through the town of Todoque, destroying it.
The 1,200 residents from Todoque had no choice than to gather as much of their belongings and now can only watch as houses, streets, gardens are covered meter by meter by the advancing lava flows.

Another concern is the development of acid steam clouds should the lava flows enter the sea, and cause violent water-lava explosions that generate hot steam plumes mixed with hydrochloric acid (HCl) and other dangerous gasses that can be harmful to people, animals and plants.

2021-09-20 La Palma Quake Update
Volcano Watchers,8:45 p.m.The volcanic eruption on the island of La Palma continued unabated throughout the 2nd day. Deformation three days ago was measured at 10 cm. The next day before the eruption it had risen to 15 cm, and yesterday, after the eruption, it continued to rise to 19 cm of uplift as of this morning. We would normally expect to see deflation following an eruption as the pressure is released, but that has thus far NOT been the case. Uplift has continued to increase after the initial eruption. What this means is that the area beneath the volcano is filling with magma faster than the eruption can get rid of it. I knew this meant we would see new fissures open to let off more pressure and that is what happened today with another new fissure opening up around 9 p.m. local time on the island, when a strong M3.8 quake marked the breaking open of the new fissure. It is likely we may see more fissures open up as well. The numbers of quakes have dropped significantly now that the eruption is occurring, with only a few sporadic quakes mostly in the M2.0-3.0 range. There are now two primary streams of lava flowing down the west flank of the volcano toward the ocean. It had been projected that these two streams would merge and lava would reach the sea by early this evening, but the lava flow has slowed, moving at a rate of about 2,300 ft. per hour. This is slightly less than a half mile per hour.Over 100 homes have been destroyed by the long black lava flows as it races toward the sea. Parts of the lava flow are as much as 10 ft. high/deep. The Coast Guard has shut down the harbor to all shipping near to where the lava is expected to enter the sea.Follow Volcano Discovery for a more detailed update. There are now multiple livestreams on YouTube carrying the eruption footage – which is quite spectacular at night.Authorities continue to evacuate thousands of people. No deaths or serious injuries have been reported thus far. While not impossible, it appears less and less likely that a tsunami will occur affecting the Atlantic coastal areas, unless there is a very large explosive eruption that causes a major landslide of part of the island into the sea.I continue to monitor the situation closely. The Watchman

La Palma volcano eruption update: new eruptive fissure opens, followed by strong magnitude 3.8 quake
22:26 PM | BY: T
As suspected as a possible scenario earlier, the eruption continues to evolve as a new fissure opened around 9 p.m. local time in the area of Tacande, in the municipality of El Paso. It seems to be approx. 1 km west of the original vents.
The opening of the new eruptive fissure was followed by a relatively strong magnitude 3.8 quake at 9.32 p.m., widely felt by people in Los Llanos de Aridane, Breña Baja, Tazacorte, El Paso, Breña Alta, Fuenca.

La Palma, Canary Islands: seismic crisis Sep 2021 – updates
17:38 PM | BY: T
The lava flows continue to advance towards the coast. According to the latest forecasts, they might reach the sea shore by around 8 p.m. local time, most likely in the area of Playa Nueva in Los Guirres.
Maritime authorities have already established an exclusion zone in the sea, stretching from Punta del Pozo (Puerto Naos) in the south to Las Viñas beach (Tazacorte) in the north, and half a nautical wide. On land, security forces are present to prevent unauthorized access.
Volcanic tremor as a measure of lava supply rate remains relatively stable and overall high. All suggests that the eruption is going to last for a while, possibly weeks or even months.
The SO2 plume from the eruption in the meantime is visible east of the island over the Atlantic ocean:

La Palma volcano eruption update: measurements reveal first eruption data
10:30 AM | BY: MARTIN
The Volcanological Institute of Canary Islands (INVOLCAN) revealed the first measurements of SO2 concentrations in the atmosphere and a lava flow discharge rate of the current eruption at the La Cumbre Vieja volcano that began yesterday.
Sulfur dioxide emissions
First estimated amount of sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions occurring in the plume reached to a 6000-9000 tonnes/day provided by the AEMET.
Lava flow discharge rate
New measurements were also made to provide new parameters of the lava flow discharge rate. The average lava flow discharge rate at the current eruption site is about 0,7 kilometers per hour.
Thermal anomaly
According to MIROVA Detection System a very high thermal anomaly (2828 MW) was detected in satellite images yesterday, but it decreased to 1509 MW today.
Precautions
Around 5,000 people have been evacuated from the high-risk areas. The efforts are focused on reducing infrastructural damage.
The La Cumbre Vieja volcano erupted after 8 days of intense seismic crisis yesterday afternoon as two eruptive fissures opened in the area of the Montaña Rajada mountains accompanied by lava fountains erupted from at least 7 individual vents.

2021-09-19 La Palma Eruption UpdateQuake Watchers,BREAKING NEWS BULLETIN2:00 p.m.Some news agencies have reported that today’s eruption took many, including scientists, “off guard” as they were NOT expecting an eruption this early – after only a week of swarm activity, but subscribers to this Earthquake Alert e-list knew to be watching. I repeatedly warned that an eruption was imminent, and now it has begun. “Begun” is the correct term to use because we haven’t yet seen the full scale dynamics of this eruption. What we know so far is that the eruption began a little over four and a half hours ago when a vent opened up on the west flank of the volcano and a fissure sent a column of black smoke and volcanic ash skyward. This is precisely where I said to be watching for a fissure to open up.So far, a total of four vents have opened up. The ash plume has reached approximately 5,000 ft. in height and is moving to the southwest at 15 knots. Multiple lava fountains are occurring at these vents. Volcanic cones are quickly forming around these lava fountains.Wildfires have broken out, devouring forest and croplands. Lava flows are moving toward the west (toward the coast) and have now completely destroyed several buildings and homes along the way. Some roads are now blocked by lava flows and impassible. Mandatory evacuations are on-going on the island.Seismic activity continues to increase. While the initial eruption has been so far been relatively small, this does not negate the possibility of a large blow-out eruption. That is still a very real possibility, so I continue to monitor the situation.See video footage of the eruption.Overall I’d say that, so far, this eruption reminds me a lot of the Kilauea, Hawaii eruption of 2018 (which I also predicted with precision accuracy). This eruption may go on for days, weeks, or months with times of surging lava flows followed by lulls in activity or resurgence. Time will tell. You can monitor updates on this and other volcanoes through Volcano Discovery.Keeping You Informed! The Watchman

La Palma, Canary Islands: seismic crisis Sep 2021 – updates
Eruption started at 3.15 p.m. local time
The eruption started at 3.15 p.m. local time (14:15 GMT), 10 minutes after our previous update when we noticed the strong increase in seismic activity.
Just before the eruption, authorities had started to evacuate about 40 people with mobility problems and farm animals from the area where most seismic activity had been. More evacuations are under way.
First video of eruption
The eruption so far seems to be small and there is not much information available yet. The following video was taken immediately after a small vent opened, producing small lava fountains and an ash plume:

La Palma, Canary Islands: new eruption – La Cumbre Vieja volcano erupts for first time since 1971!
14:25 PM | BY: T
Following the increasing seismic activity and the previously suspected beginning of tremor, the volcano erupted short time ago – probably much earlier than most expected.
There are not many details yet, but from initial pictures it seems that a fissure opened on the western flank of La Cumbre Vieja, feeding lava fountains and flows, burning forests and farmland.
In the meantime, seismic activity continues to increase by the minute, dominated by volcanic tremor, reflecting the flow of magma to the surface.
More details will follow.

Intense seismic activity, uplift reaches 15 cm
IGN confirms that the seismic activity has accelerated in the last hours, with intense surface seismicity between 0 and 6 km and numerous earthquakes felt by the population.
Up to this moment and since the beginning of the series, 6,632 earthquakes have been detected, of which 1,317 have been located. During today, 327 earthquakes have been detected, of which 86 have been located with a maximum magnitude of 3.8 or the earthquake that occurred at 10:16 (UTC), widely felt on the island and with a depth of 2 km.
The maximum accumulated vertical deformation has increased to around 15 cm in the area close to the current seismicity and its distribution is still compatible with a center of pressure in this area.
Strong seismic activity, near continuous tremor
During the past hours, activity has been increasing further. The seismic recordings show continuous ground vibration.
While we are not sure about its origin and the interpretation of these data, it could be volcanic tremor and sign of magma moving underground. If so, the chances of an eruption are now getting even bigger.
La Palma volcano (Canary Islands) activity update: earthquakes intensify
12:53 PM | BY: T
The seismo-volcanic crisis is intensifying. During the past 24 hours, earthquakes have continued to pick up both in numbers and strength.
The largest so-far quake was a magnitude 3.8 quake at 11:16 local time at 10 km depth, initially reported even as magnitude 4, but later revised. SO far, 5 quakes during the past 24 hours were recorded with magnitudes of 3 or more. All of these were felt by locals.
The increase in seismic activity is likely a sign that magma continues to intrude and push its way into deeper rock layers, thus causing the quakes. Another worrying trend is the general tendency of quakes getting shallower. Altogether, the likelihood of a new volcanic eruption continues to increase.
Is there a threat of a mega-tsunami from La Palma?
Unfortunately, some media outlets are picking up on the potential threat of a “mega-tsunami” that could be caused by an eruption on La Palma and devastate the US east coast… While this certainly is a potential scenario, it should also be said that it is the very worst case, and thus least likely scenario: by all known geological evidence, the current chance of a giant landslide from La Palma is still extremely slim, even should La Palma erupt in the near future.
Nearly all volcanic ocean islands suffer massive collapse events from time to time, and La Palma is no exception. About 560,000 years ago, it had lost a large portion of its southwestern flank during an event referred to by geologists as the Cumbre Nueva landslide, one of the largest known of its kind. It is estimated that major landslide events at La Palma occur every 100,000 years or more, and there is no evidence that the island’s edifice is gravitationally unstable at present. Globally, major island-slope failure events that can trigger catastrophic-size tsunamis probably occur only once every 10,000 years or more. During the known history of mankind, no such event is known to have been witnessed.
Unfortunately, the official website of the National Geographic Institute (IGN) is difficult to access to review latest data, most likely from traffic overload.

2021-09-13 La Palma Seismic Crisis – Update
BREAKING NEWS:Quake Watchers,10:00 a.m.Seismic activity at La Palma has intensified overnight as expected. Almost all the quakes are now occurring at less than 6 km in depth with many right at the surface. Ground vibration is now almost constant. Quake numbers and magnitudes are increasing. An eruption is imminent.Deformation was at 10 cm of uplift yesterday morning. Today it has risen to 15 cm. Official evacuation notices have been posted and distributed to the surrounding towns and villages as of yesterday, which in my opinion is far too late, but typical (too little, too late). This is another example of why I tell people to never wait for “official” evacuation notices in such events, but to get out ahead of the crush. Many people have asked me what website I use for monitoring volcanic events. I use Volcano Discovery which is currently updating this event. Click on the green link and bookmark this page. Many of the websites and YouTube channels covering this event are echoing my findings and reiterating my warnings and information about 6-12 hours after I have sent out these bulletins to my subscribers. Social media has been much quicker to respond and get the word out to a wide audience.Because what happens at La Palma has the potential to affect millions of people, I will be updating the information frequently throughout the day until the eruption occurs.Stay safe!I will keep you informed. The Watchman
In the following article the statement is made that “a mega-Tsunami has been ruled out”. I could not find any documentation to support that statement. There is no further information given as to where, when or by whom such a determination was made.
In October 2011, following weeks of intense seismic activity, an underwater volcano erupted off the coast of El Hierro in Spain’s Canary Islands. Ten years later, the nearby island of La Palma appears to be facing the same situation.
In the past few days, more than 5,400 tremors have been recorded.
A ground deformation of around 10 centimeters on-site indicates that magma is bubbling beneath the surface.
Although the seismic activity in Cumbre Vieja has decreased in the last 48 hours, today, a M3.0 earthquake hit at a depth of 0.1 km, around 03:26 (UTC) in the morning.
A mega-tsunami has been ruled out. Nonetheless, the risk of a possible eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano remains elevated. This is why the Volcano Risk Prevention Plan (Pevolca) has decided to elevate the volcanic eruption risk to yellow – the second-highest. Moreover, yesterday, they presented an evacuation plan for 5 municipalities around the volcano.
Evacuation plan for 5 cities approved
The evacuation plan has been drawn for the five municipalities of Tazacorte, Los Llanos de Aridane, Mazo, El Paso and Fuencaliente, or about 40,000 people.
Meanwhile, it has been accepted and activated by officials. People are advised to pack bags with documents and medicines and be ready to go. Shelters are already in place with medicine and food.
Authorities have called two meetings today, Sept. 18th, to inform residents about the volcanic risk alert. Here’s a video of the first meeting:
Other measures taken on September 19, 2021
- Closure of the Los Brecitos LP- 214 road
- Closure of the Refugio del Pilar Recreational Area
- Closure of the Caños de Fuego Center and access to the Cueva de las Palomas
- Access to the rest of the cavities located in the area is prohibited
- The La Palma trail network and forest tracks that run through the municipalities of Fuencaliente, El Paso, Los Llanos de Aridane and Villa de Mazo are closed.
- The small game day is suspended in these same municipalities.
- People are advised to take their livestocks to the livestock fairgrounds of El Paso and San Isidro, in Breña Alta.
The last eruption in La Palma took place in October 1971, when the Teneguía volcano erupted for more than three weeks after a crack appeared in the south of the island. The situation remained calm until 2017, when seismic activity resumed. In the past few days, this activity has intensified with constant small tremors, known as an earthquake swarm, recorded a few kilometers from Teneguía in the Cumbre Vieja area, southeast of the island. *** BULLETIN 5:16 PM (Saturday) EDT *** — Earthquake Swarm – La Palma – If Blows, a Tsunami Could Wipe Out US East Coast
A very significant earthquake swarm is taking place on an island off the west coast of Africa. This particular situation has been feared for decades because it could literally wipe out the ENTIRE U.S. East Coast.

*** BULLETIN 5:16 PM EDT (SAT)***

9-16-2021 2:55 PM (Nuclear Power Plant Worries in USA)
The island of La Palma is part of the Canary Islands off the northwest coast of Africa. The scalable Google Map below shows its location:
The island was formed by eruptions from the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
La Palma earned the nickname “the beautiful island” — white sand beaches highlighted by black volcanic soil. An endless night sky filled with stars as far as the eye can see.
But beauty here is only skin deep.
Nestled on the western side of La Palma sits the Cumbre Vieja volcano, like a pot of water waiting to boil over. Its last big eruption was more than 50 years ago, but everyone knows it’s only a matter of time before it unleashes the beast inside.
Over decades, the entire southwest third of the island has become eroded and unstable from volcanic eruptions; with scientists fearing it could break loose and slide into the Atlantic Ocean. If that took place, the slide would be about 500 cubic KILOMOTERS of dirt and rock, plopping into the ocean, which would trigger a Tsunami wave for the entire Atlantic Ocean.
It starts with tremors – exactly like what we’re seeing right now. Glasses rattle on kitchen tables while picture frames skew left and right. Tourists to La Palma brush it off, calling the jelly feeling “sea legs” — they are, after all, on an island.
But the locals know better and they hold their breath. When it does happen, the ash and lava spill out of the volcano’s mouth like a giant sigh. No one could have predicted what happens next.
The western side of the volcano cracks and splits; the steam builds up inside and pushes against the volcano’s walls. The pressure is too much; the entire western flank breaks off, the Atlantic Ocean eagerly swallowing every rock, stone and pebble as they freefall into its deep blue depths. The earth rumbles and the water begins to slosh around as its calm ebb and flow turns into frenzied splashing and crashing.
The waves grow. And they grow and they grow. To the naked eye, it looks like the heavens unleashed a curtain made of water — somehow the volcano’s landslide has produced a tsunami that reaches the sky.
All 3,000 feet of water roars as it barrels away from La Palma’s coast toward the United States. As the most western island of the Canary Islands, La Palma sits eight hours away from the eastern U.S. shore by plane. It’s the one piece of good news: Residents have a window of time to evacuate.
But chaos breeds chaos, and soon the highways are clogged with cars, frightened families from Boston to Miami trying to flee inland. A final silver lining: The wave decreases as it sojourns across the Atlantic from a staggering 3,000 to a mere 160 feet.
As that wave travels from Africa to the west, it would move about as fast as a jet airliner, about 500 MPH. About eight hours later, that wave would reach the North American coast line and begin to pile up on top of itself, creating upwards of a ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FOOT TALL wall of water, smashing into the ENTIRE east coast.
All the major cities would be wiped out. Boston, New York, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Norfolk, VA, Charleston, SC, Jacksonville, FL, Miami, would all be inundated by a giant wall of water. Most buildings within ten miles of the coast would be physically knocked down by the wave. Almost nothing would survive. (Story continues beneath Ad)
Now, one might think ‘We’ll have 8 hours warning.” Do you have any idea at all how long it would take to completely evacuate cities like Boston, New York or Miami? And Miami is of particular concern because there may not be anywhere to go for ANYONE IN FLORIDA.
Most of Florida is only about four feet above sea level. The Tsunami 30 Meter (100 feet tall) wave from Las Palma might very well wash over the ENTIRE LANDMASS of the state.
Elevation of Capitol Hill, Washington, DC, USA 79 ft.
In fact, scientists say that the area impacted by any such Tsunami contains twenty-nine percent (29%) of the US population and they estimate 65 Million DEAD.
There are plenty documentaries on tubes about this.
-Worse case says up to 250 miles inland using rivers.
-100′ high
-Travel a few hundred miles per hour
-Seven-Eight hours to reach NYC
Long island would go underwater for a time
So would Florida
A few dozen nuclear reactors would be Fukushima, or worse
Hudson River would flood all the way to Albany
Could be one large one or several smaller ones.
or,…we could see a little ripple at the docks.
Just keep your tank filled w gas. Download some tsunami alert app or something
Oh then there is this –
“REV 8:8 – And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;”
translation
“A volcano erupted then busted up with a large portion falling into the sea killing 1/3 of all coastal inhabitants of that sea.”
no, doesn’t say which sea
The wave touches down, flowing onto beaches and flooding bays. Coastal buildings don’t stand a chance; water rushes inland 10-40 miles along the entire eastern seaboard. Homes are destroyed, countless hotels crumble under the force. Chemical plants that once churned out product by the oceanside spill their toxic waste into the sea.
Here is an animation for land inundation from NYC to Boston based on LAND ELEVATION:
https://halturnerradioshow.com/images/2021/09/13/300-foot-tsunami-northeast-coast-map.gif
Beaches up and down the coast account for billions of dollars in tourism revenue each summer. It looks like vacationers might not be able to return for decades thanks to the amount of oils and solvents released.
On top of that, the East Coast is home to 29 percent of the U.S. population. Now they are displaced — their homes destroyed, their cities flooded. Not everyone made it out in time.
It’s not the end of the world, but it very much feels like it.
Analysis: La Palma’s mega-tsunami is a disaster, no doubt. And — scarily enough — it’s not impossible.
In 1949, the Cumbre Vieja volcano erupted along the coast of La Palma and caused an earthquake that created a mile-long fissure on its east side.
The force of the fissure then caused the volcano’s west side to slip six feet into the Atlantic Ocean. It has since remained in this position, its estimated 1.5 trillion metric tons waiting like a ticking time bomb.
Researcher and scientist Steven Ward, now a research geophysicist at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics, UC Santa Cruz, and Simon Day, a senior research associate at the Institute for Risk & Disaster Reduction, University College London, first quantified the features of the La Palma mega-tsunami. Their video model appears below.
Readers must watch this earthquake swarm very diligently. At the first sign of a major eruption, or at first hint of a landslide/collapse due to the earthquakes, get away from the US East Coast by at least 50 miles inland.
Remember, it will only take about 8 hours for the Tsunami to reach the USA once it is generated by a landslide. Anyone in its way, will likely not survive.
Here’s a brief video showing how it might play out:

UPDATE 03:05 AM EDT —
Getting Worse:Much better and more detailed Video showing the actual FAULT LINE which is 9 miles long, and the five-hundred-BILLION pounds of land that may plummet into the Atlantic:
The strong earthquake swarm which started under the area of La Cumbre Vieja volcano in the southern part of the Island of La Palma, in the Canary Islands yesterday is CONTINUING and growing STRONGER. So far, more than 350 tremors have been detected, including 14 quakes of magnitudes above 3.0 and 226 quakes between 2.0 and 2.9.
The strongest was a magnitude 3.4 event at 00.46 am local time this morning, which was felt by nearby residents.
Most earthquakes are at shallow depths around 8-12 km, suggesting that new magma is currently intruding into a reservoir under the volcano. Whether or not this might be leading up to new volcanic activity is impossible to say at this stage.
Similar earthquake swarms have occurred in the past as well, most recently in late Dec last year; however back then, the quakes were deeper (at around 30 km depth), which could indicate that magma has now risen higher in the volcano’s underground storage systems.
La Cumbre Vieja volcano last erupted in 1971, and it is considered one of the most active volcanoes of the Canary Islands.
The Scientific Committee for the government of Spain has declared a “Pre-Emergency Alert” over what they believe is now a LIKELY eruption.

Whether the side of the island falls into the ocean causing a mega-tsunami, remains to be seen.
Anyone living with 50 miles of the east coast of North America, both US and CANADA, should keep close watch on this because if the landslide takes place, the east coast of north America could face inundation by tsunami waves of 30 meters (100 feet) tall, penetrating 10-40 miles inland.
The government of the Canary Islands has issued a YELLOW ALERT for a probable volcanic eruption on the Island of La Palma from the Cumbre Viejo Volcano.
According to the information below, the government is convinced there is a significant magma intrusion ongoing into the volcano from underground, making a large and violent eruption likely.
UPDATE 8:41 PM EDT —
The earthquakes are getting **MUCH** stronger.
Here is the seismograph from right now:
Worse, these earthquakes are now centered DIRECTLY BENEATH the slab of land (the size of Manhattan, NY) which is loose and slated to fall-off into the ocean:
Remember Leilani Estates in Hawaii and Iceland more recently? The explosive part took place with almost no warning. Lava began spewing in places without any advance warning at all. The same can happen on La Palma island right now.
Be ready, just in case.
If you reside on the east coast of north America, anywhere from New Foundland, Canada, all the way to Key West, FL, you need to be prepared to up and go immediately.
Have your items pre-packed, and as much pre-loaded in the vehicle. Remember the pets. Remember winter is coming, grab boots, winter clothes and a coat or two just in case.
FILL your vehicles with fuel ASAP! Fill an extra 5-gallon gas can or two to take with you.
When/IF this happens (tsunami), you will have 2 hours to get off the East Coast before the highways and gas stations become clogged with panicky people trying to get out themselves.
It will take 6+ hours for the tsunami to reach the American East Coast from the Canary Islands. BE OUT within 2 hours of it happening-DO NOT WAIT for the government/MSM to tell you ANYTHING…or you and your family ARE DEAD
Almost the ENTIRE LAND AREA OF FLORIDA is in danger from such a tsunami. The whole state is only about four feet above sea level. Those in the far south should take “alligator alley” then head into Alabama and then northward away from the Gulf. Trying to go north will likely quickly become a traffic parking lot for those coming up from the south.

UPDATE 10:47 PM EDT —
According to “Earthquake Info” a Magnitude 6.2 earthquake just took place in the Atlantic Ocean, northwest of the Canary Islands as shown on the map below. It allegedly took place at a shallow depth of only 10km.
Seismographs on the Canary Islands seem to CONFIRM this quake just took place:
If this is accurate, this is now tectonic movement instead of just Magma movement as seen on the Canary Island of LaPalma. It could be that what’s taking place on LaPalma is destabilizing the tectonic plates themselves.
UPDATE 11:24 PM EDT —
Seismographs just all went BLANK! No live data coming from LaPalma . . . at all!

2021-09-13 Possible Double Mega-Tsunami Threat U.SQuake Watchers,Tonight’s Update may turn out to be one of the most important ones I have ever issued. There is a real potential threat of double mega-tsunamis hitting both coasts of the U.S. in the near future.Ominous signs are on the horizon at this moment. What is happening in the Canary Islands has been lost on the mainstream media who seem to hardly notice, but the east coast of North America is a target if the scientists’ predicted scenario turns out to be correct and a major volcanic eruption and landslide occurs at La Palma.Read the Links & Resources section of tonight’s update to find out more and to watch a computer simulation of what could happen.Tremors have stopped in the Pacific Northwest, or else there is another computer glitch in the system (typical). earthquake in the next 7-10 days. I am still watching central to southern California as
the target area to be hit with a possible M6.6-7.3 quake.
• The WATCH for a possible very large quake quake reaching M8.2-9.2 striking in the
northern part of the Ring of Fire or the Pacific Northwest remains in effect for at
least one more week – if the tremors in the Pacific Northwest remain quiet.Pacific Northwest Tremor WATCH:
Tremors have currently ceased in the Pacific Northwest. Today, there were NO
TREMORS reported. Yesterday, there were also NO TREMORS reported. There have
been NO TREMORS reported for the last three consecutive days. I will see if there is a
glitch or whether this is legitimate. If we do not see any tremors for a 5-7 day stretch, then
I will issue the WARNING (see below).
When the tremors completely cease, I will issue a WARNING for a possible mega-quake
with a top-end potential reaching as high as M9.2-9.4 to strike off-coast within 10-15 days.
A catastrophic tsunami will occur at this magnitude range, with all coastal areas being totally
inundated for several miles inland. Waves in some areas could reach 70-100 ft. in height.
Be aware that a very large earthquake may occur without any specific warning. When
(not if) a mega-quake occurs, there will be tens of thousands of casualties. For more

UPDATE 12:12 AM TUESDAY EDT
The seismos are back online (Thank God):
UPDATE 7:46 AM EDT (TUESDAY) —
At about 2:00 AM eastern U.S. time this morning, the largest earthquake in the ongoing swarm took place directly beneath the area of concern on the island of La Palma. A Magnitude 3.9 earthquake shook the area from a shallow depth of 9km.
Here is the report from the European earthquake agency:
After that quake, additional earthquakes began taking place EVERY THREE TO FIVE MINUTES. These are smaller earthquakes, but they seem to be in some sort of repeating rhythm.
So the land mass on the western flank of the island, which is already unstable from the 1971 quake, is now being shaken repeatedly. It was that western flank, which is about the size of the island of Manhattan, NYC, that “slipped” 13 feet downward in 1971.
So try to imagine something as big and heavy as the island of Manhattan, suddenly sliding sideways into the ocean, perhaps in one fell swoop, and you begin to understand how this could create the mega-tsunami outlined in the two videos above.
I am endeavoring to get access to the satellite-connected geo-location data.
There are satellite-enabled sensors all along the area of concern which were put there to monitor the slightest actual movement of the land mass. They are the alarm bells for the massive landslide that is feared to take place.
For some reason though, authorities are reluctant to provide the data. It’s almost as if they don’t want anyone to know if the area of concern is already sliding.
If I gain access to the satellite geolocation movement data, I will make it available.
For now, to give you insight as to the shear magnitude of the land mass that is set to slide into the ocean, watch the 6 min. video below. It is taken along the actual land mass which is the western flank of La Palma island.
Everything you see to the right (going upwards) and to the left (going downwards toward the ocean) is what would slide off into the ocean if these quakes continue.
Scientists say it would be at least five hundred BILLION pounds of rock and dirt, moving toward the ocean at terminal velocity of about 120 MPH (200 kph) with one gigantic splash, that triggers the mega tsunami. That tsunami would reach the east coast of north America in about 6 hours, in the form of 100 foot tall walls of water moving about 500 MPH, that would penetrate upwards of forty (40) miles inland along the ENTIRE east coast, killing almost everything in its path.
UPDATE 6:49 PM EDT TUESDAY —
I have been able to obtain the geo-location satellite data. It is trivial, but there IS movement.
The seismic activity appears to be moving west and depth has decreased.
The surface deformation has reached 1.5 cm. (So the land mass, the size of Manhattan, NYC, has started to move)
Since the beginning of the seismic series at 3:18 (UTC) on the 11th, until 8:00 UTC today, 2935 quakes detected, 616 of which have been located.
Ground deformation and tilt measurements show inflation of magma chamber.

UPDATE 7:06 AM EDT WEDNESDAY — I am being deluged with telephone calls from people who read this article and want some sort of personal consultation. A lot of people honestly don’t know what’s going to happen and don’t want to stir a panic then look like an idiot if nothing happens. That’s how people lose their jobs, their reputations get trashed; elected officials or people in academia are in no hurry to do that to themselves. Neither am I. I report the facts as they are known. I point out what is possible. I don’t know if this is actually going to take place. I am warning all of you that it very much CAN take place so you can plan, prepare, and be able to get out at a moments notice if everything goes wild weasel. Like all of you, I can only wait and see. I have no information that I can give to you personally, which isn’t already published here. That said, from the Canary Islands government this morning: The scientific coordinator of INVOLCAN, Nemesio Pérez, pointed out that what is happening with the volcano “should alert us, but not alarm us”, because “Cumbre Vieja is not in the pre-eruptive phase.” He went on to clarify “three reasons why this swarm is different from the previous nine: The depth of the seismic focus, which goes from 20-30km now up to 10-12km. Nemesio points out that the yellow alert level has been declared. Also, remember that the volcano is now “much more watched than five years ago”, so “we should have the ability to warn early if its eruptive process starts.” At this point, their key government agency is not calling this imminent. It’s going to be a wait, watch, and see thing. I would definitely not panic. But having a “go-bag” and keeping an eye on things seems sensible!! Overnight, a very troubling development: an earthquake took place along the ocean edge of the potential landslide area, and that quake was located . . . ready for this . . . . at a depth of ONE KILOMETER. Here: The fact that these earthquakes continue to take place and more shallow depths is proof the magma underground is pushing its way through rock toward the surface. As that rock breaks and moves, we get earthquakes. This present “swarm” of earthquakes began on September 11 and has not let up since then. The quakes are becoming more and more shallow. All this shaking does not do the loose chunk of land, the size of Manhattan, any good. It just serves to destabilize it more and more. Readers along the coast of north America absolutely must keep abreast of this situation because if that chunk of loose land slides off the island of La Palma into the Atlantic ocean, a Tsunami will strike the US/CANADA east coast about 6 hours later. This most recent earthquake at only ONE KILOMETER DEPTH changes a lot. That means there’s either finger filtration of magma going on or we’re gonna have a huge explosion. These haven’t really been releases of energy these have been building of energy pockets and these particle masses are going to be extreme. CANARY ISLANDS ASKS E.U. TO ACTIVATE COPERNICUS EMERGENCY SATELLITE The Government Delegation in the Canary Islands has requested the National Center ask to activate the Copernicus, an EU service for the provision of emergency images and cartography, for Monitoring and Coordination of Emergencies (Cenem) to activate the Copernicus due to the seismic activity detected on the island of La Palma and at the request of the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME). Cenem has devices for the monitoring and follow-up of national alert networks, potential risk situations, incidents and emergencies in the field of civil protection, and it has state-of-the-art satellite technology tools at its disposal. One of these tools is the Copernicus Program of the European Union, which serves for the provision of emergency images and cartography. The EU Copernicus service is activated at the request of the autonomous communities and offers free operational services UPDATE 8:11 AM EDT WEDNESDAY — The President of the Canary Islands is issuing message of calm. The Copernicus Program has begun. This means all of Europe’s (EU) monitoring systems are focused now. (HT REMARK: Reminds me of the movie 2012 where the actor says to his wife “When they tell you not to panic, that’s when you run!”) Here’s that scene UPDATE 10:30 AM EDT WEDNESDAY — La Palma has begun preparing evacuation protocols: the operation is prepared for a “hypothetical” eruption. The mayor of El Paso, Sergio Rodríguez, has confirmed that the island and regional institutions are working to coordinate and update the protocol that would have to be activated in the event of a volcanic eruption on La Palma. “The meeting that took place yesterday was to be prepared in all areas, since we have to locate and be clear about the evacuation routes that we need to be able to get the neighbors out. In addition, we must know the means we have. There is no operation underway, but we must have the main issues at hand with regard to equipment, generators, and machinery. The current situation requires it and, although it is unlikely, we must have everything ready” he explained. In this same sense, he has pointed out that the population of the municipality is highly sensitized, especially in the neighborhoods where most of the tremors of the seismic swarm that began last Saturday are being registered. UPDATE 1:26 PM EDT WEDNESDAY — There has been a sudden deformation of the ground directly above the earthquake activity, showing a 6 cm movement of the unstable land mass on the southwestern flank of the island of La Palma. This unstable area is now showing in all red on the map below. THIS is precisely the section of land at risk of sliding off into the ocean and causing a Tsunami that wipes out the US east coast. The surface of the island of La Palma has now risen and been deformed by 6 centimeters in the area where the strongest seismic movements are located, around the Cumbre Vieja, and this afternoon some low-magnitude earthquakes have been registered at a ‘shallow depth’ which is between one and three kilometers under the ground. Comparison of La Palma to Mt. St. Helens Eruption Just did a little research for comparisons-sake on the Mt. Saint Helens eruption. Deformation characteristics were far more obvious on Mt. St. Helens at hundreds of feet with the mountain bulging outward as 0.03 cubic miles of magma intruded. Two months of thousands of small quakes under this deformation later, a 0.7 cubic mile section of the mountain created the largest recorded landslide. In the weeks before the eruption the deformation accelerated to 5-6 feet per day, with a total of 400 feet of displacement northward before the collapse. Near the end, the south end of the mountain began to sink which dictated imminent eruption. At La Palma we are seeing 1-3 inches of displacement per day but on the much MUCH larger scale of 400-500 cubic miles of material; roughly 700x the amount of Mt. St. Helens. If we are to have learned anything from Mt. St. Helens, it’s to look for expanding faults around the boundary of the outward deformation bulge, look for sinking of landmass behind the bulge, and if a collapse-style eruption is expected . . . . evacuate the Atlantic coast in the USA and CANADA. Spain now discussing evacuation options for La Palma in case an eruption does occur. UPDATE 5:26 PM EDT WEDNESDAY — Seismic activity continues to migrate slightly to the northwest, at depths of around 8 km, with 20 shallow earthquakes (1-3 km) also being recorded. The maximum accumulated deformation reaches about 6 cm. The seismic activity that began at 3:18 (UTC) on the 11th continues. Until 12:00 (UTC) today, 4222 earthquakes have been detected in the southern area of the island of La Palma, of which they have located a total of 920. Activity continues to migrate in a northwesterly direction. Since 00:11 (UTC), 20 earthquakes have been located at depths between 1-3 km (with errors between 2-3 km), with the largest event being 2.9 mbLg, at a depth of 0.4 km . The rest of the activity continues at depths between 7 and 9 km. The accumulated energy so far is 2.5 × 1011 Joules. The maximum accumulated vertical deformation is around 6 cm in the area close to seismicity and its distribution is still compatible with a center of pressure in this area. These movements have been observed both with the island’s GNSS network and through InSAR data (Sentinel-1). On the other hand, the eastern trend observed in previous days in the Cumbre Vieja inclinometer seems to have stabilized. ***** FLASH ***** SMALL LANDLSIDES HAVE BEGUN Landslides have been registered in the coastal neighborhood of El Remo, near Puerto Naos. Thus, a large cloud of dust can be seen from landslides on a mountain. The seismic intensity on La Palma is growing rapidly and a “rapid” evolution of the situation is not ruled out, as experts have reported in recent hours. UPDATE 12:18 PM THURSDAY — The volcano slowed in earthquakes overnight, but this morning has resumed the swarm and is now generating significant harmonic tremors, indicating the magma underground is now vibrating along with the earthquakes it is causing. This vibration amplifies the effects of the quakes. Small landslides from the steep, 6,000 feet tall slope are now becoming frequent. It is this 6,000 foot tall, 9 mile long, slab of land that is in danger of sliding off into the ocean causing a tsunami that could reach the US east coast 7 hours later: This morning, the southern most GPS box on the island is showing the southern part of the island, IS SINKING! It is showing lower elevation above sea level! This will serve to exacerbate the steepness of the 6,000 foot hill above, making a landslide even MORE likely. The image below shows the satellite view of the 6,000 foot tall mountainous area in danger of falling into the ocean and causing the Tsunami: Below, the former volcanic vents which have destabilized this giant mountain are arrowed: So the danger is that, if the Cumbre Vieja volcano goes into Eruption again, all those vents will fill with lava, dislodge the giant, 6,000 foot mountain, and send it hurtling into the Atlantic ocean below . . . and sending a Tsunami to the entire Atlantic ocean, reaching the US Coastline 7 hours later. (I have added Anchors to this article so readers can click the most recent update at the top of the story and get directly to the most recent update.) FINALLY ! ! ! the mass-media has now begun covering this . . . only four days late: REUTERS, London Daily Mail In Addition, mass-media in Brazil is also beginning coverage HERE VIDEO TIME-LAPSE The video below is terrific because it shows what has actually taken place with these earthquakes over the past four days: UPDATE 2:55 PM EDT Thursday — There is another component to this potential tsunami: Nuclear Power Plants. As was seen in Japan when a tsunami struck there in 2011, nuclear power plants can get flooded, lose power, lose cooling of the nuclear reactor cores and stored, spent-fuel ponds, and explode. That took place in Japan after the tsunami, when three of six reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power plant got hit by the tsunami, melted-down and exploded, sending radiation all over the planet. Here is what those plants looked like after the initial melt-downs and explosions: Below is a map showing the location of U.S. nuclear power plants. There are quite a few along the US east coast that COULD be affected by any tsunami from La Palma in the Canary Islands: By our count, there are EIGHTEEN nuclear power plants that would be directly impacted by any tsunami. Seabrook in New Hampshire, Pilgrim-1 in Massachusetts, Indian Point in Buchanan, Westchester County, NY, All four plants in New Jersey, two in Maryland, two in Virginia, two in North Carolina, and four on the east coast of Florida, with another POTENTIAL on the west coast of Florida if the Tsunami reaches the Gulf of Mexico. That __ could __ spell multiple melt-downs, as an added disaster on top of the tsunami. The short window 8 hours or less to get all the plants prepped and into shut down would be one unprecedented challenge, though perhaps doable. But then there is aftermath isolation of so many plants that then have to be kept cooling by human fed diesel generator power alone. Major road and bridge washouts, and tsunami transformed costal geography with newly cut inlet and island features would make multi nuke plant melt down prevention a national and military emergency in and of itself.
UPDATE 9:37 AM FRIDAY EDT — I have been contacted by a Geologist who chose to compare the actual tsunami that took place in Japan (Fukushima) in 2011 and the potential tsunami of a flank collapse of the Cumbre Viejo volcano on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands. His analysis is terrifying. He reports as follows: To calculate the water displacement by a flank collapse of the Cumbre Viejo volcano on the island of LaPalma in the Canary Islands, you need to multiply 200 km x 100 km x SEVERAL METERS (how much the fault moved vertically). This is the total land area that is unstable and in danger of collapsing into the ocean. If you do that, you come up with a much smaller number. “Several meters” is up to 10 meters. Let’s say 10 meters, which is 0.01 km. So, 200 cubic km. water displacement. Or 100 cubic km. water displacement if the vertical move was 5 meters. Another thing that have to be considered is the speed at which the fault which caused the 2011 Japan Tsunami (Fukushima) moved upward, which is MUCH SLOWER then a landslide. All in all, the Fukushima tsunami was generated by a land mass at least 60% smaller (if 10 meters vertical move), or 80% smaller (if 5 meter vertical move) then Cumbre Vieja, with an energy also much smaller. The angle at what the Japan (Fukushima) fault moved is also highly important, because the water displacement in the case of Fuku or Indonesia tsunamis were even smaller then 100 cubic km. It is impossible to calculate the difference, but it is safe to say that Fuku tsunami would be but a fraction of the Cumbre Vieja tsunami, in water displacement, speed and energy. Probably around 10% or less destructive power, and not even 0.01% the damage cost (material costs in impacted area only, not the instant collapse of world economy…), IF the Cumbre Vieja eruption will cause a 500 cubic km. landslide. The aftermath of a 500 cubic km. landslide would be cataclysmic, and that is the only word that might describe it. An interesting additional development: The same guy from IGN, where we get the earthquake data, who made a public statement on twitter that their data is continuously reviewed and updated (including mags and depths), is the same guy who is now tweeting that certain local scientists and technical staff involved with their volcano warning system should not be saying certain things to the public re: possibility of eruption. The more I read the more I think those in charge of the data are either self directed to, or being directed to, suppress data Multiple locals tweeting they feel confused and unsure of plans, preps, and possibilities, citing conflicting messaging from officials and media Also worth noting there are multiple local accounts in Canaries and Spain tweeting not to worry, no eruption coming, all is well, claiming to know, and all these accounts seem to be of a particular political identity. MORE: President of the Canary Islands says “if the eruption occurs, we have the mechanism to evacuate more than 2,000 people.” (Uh… population on La Palma is 85,000.) Just like the U.S. government can’t tell millions of people that a tsunami is going to wipe out the East Coast for the panic it would cause, these officials on La Palma can’t tell the whole island to start evacuating. Maybe “we can only evacuate 2,000 people” is their round about way of telling those smart enough to read between the lines and get out on their own while they can.
UPDATE 1:07 PM EDT FRIDAY — Deformation is now at 12 cm. (All the officials speaking have a super worried look on their faces. They only have the capacity to evacuate 2,000 people. The island has over 83,000.) Authorities in La Palma, Canary Islands, have warned there could be a volcanic eruption in the coming days due to the sudden increase in seismic activity. The National Geographic Institute in Spain has detected 20,650 earthquakes in an “earthquake swarm” in the Cumbre Vieja national park, around the Teneguia volcano in the south of the island. On Tuesday, September 14, the Canary Island’s regional government put the island on yellow alert for a potential volcanic eruption because the quakes intensified and moved closer to the surface. The yellow alert is the second of a four-level alert system. UPDATE 2:46 PM EDT FRIDAY — 9/17/21 Word from a listener with extended family living in the Canary Islands: “The La Palma government is publicly saying they are at a YELLOW ALERT level . . . but the things they are actually implementing on the ground are from the higher, ORANGE ALERT level. They are saying one thing, but clearly doing another thing.” Secondary confirmation: In other words they are keeping the world at bay with a yellow status while they treat the direct situation on the island as ORANGE. In deeper other words: they know much more about the pending eruption than the global public is being informed of. Intentional blocking of the real status by govts and international media.
UPDATE 8:18 AM EDT SATURDAY– The government of the Canary Islands is now telling both residents and tourists to “pack a bag and make ready your pets for evacuation in case of volcano eruption.” 45 earthquakes TODAY (so far) with “several” at only 1 km depth. Ground has bulged “more than 12 cm.” Volcano appears to be headed toward major eruption. Now: Surface Quakes !!!!! Magnitude 2.3 Magnitude 3.2 Depth 0 km GOVERNMENT CALLS MEETINGS FOR RESIDENTS OF CERTAIN TOWNS, ONLY ONE PERSON FROM EACH HOUSEHOLD DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS. . . . . “We would like to inform you that today, 18th September, two meetings will take place to inform the residents of Las Manchas de Abajo, San Nicolás, Jedey, La Bombilla, El Remo and Puerto de Naos about the volcanic risk alert. NEW OFFICIAL STATEMENT: Translation Yellow light Due to increased seismic activity Territorial scope: Los Llanos de Aridane, Fuencaliente, El Paso y Mazo As a whole, a low seismicity is maintained, although from 03:00 UTC (04:00 in the Canary Islands) after the occurrence of a magnitude 3.2 earthquake with intensity III, an intensification of seismicity begins with numerous earthquakes with localized events both at depths of 6-8 km, as shallow (0-2 km). As already indicated in previous bulletins, the occurrence of felt earthquakes of greater intensity is likely, which can cause damage to buildings. They can also cause rockslides in the surroundings of Puerto Naos (from the bulb to the paddle). moreover, the deformations are still ongoing, maintaining the speed of yesterday, being compatible with a source of surface deformation. The beginning of other phenomena observable on the surface (changes in temperature, odor and color of the water, anomalous behavior of animals, etc.) cannot be ruled out. citizens are requested to notify the authorities of any anomaly they observe. the process continues and can have a rapid evolution in the short term. For all the above, it is recommended to keep the volcanic traffic light in yellow in the old summit area, and it cannot be ruled out that it will intensify in the short term. the traffic light will be revised in accordance with the evolution of the process. Continuous monitoring of activity has been reinforced and any significant changes observed will be reported. stay tuned to the information provided by the corresponding civil protection authorities. UPDATE 4:07 PM EDT SATURDAY — 9/18/21 At a meeting called by the Government, citizens were told: “You will have 45-60min after Orange level is declared to evacuate to the designated Reunion Site by the govt.” They won’t evacuate the whole island. . .population 85,000 . . . only around 2-3K citizens around the area” (Hal Turner Remark: Is Joe Biden running this evacuation the way his regime ran Afghanistan????) Quakes are now happening in the same minute, and a minute or less in between. The public has been reminded: Almost any moderate to significant volcanic ash or toxic gas venting with un-evacuated people in close proximity or in its direct path (whether classified as “eruption” or not) kills. Villages of thousands elsewhere in the world have died just from vented clouds of volcanic produced Carbon Dioxide gas, which vented from pockets or chambers beneath a lake and, being a heavier gas than air/oxygen, pushed all breathable air above their head levels…and they dry suffocated or dry drowned all at once in minutes. Since this earthquake swarm began on September 11, there have now been more than 22,700 earthquakes Leaflet being passed to citizens by government:
