NOW IS THE TIME
We are living in PERILOUS TIMES and they are getting worse by the SECOND! If there EVER was a time when PRAYER was needed it is now. This coming election (if we see one) will be THE MOST IMPORTANT election ever in the history of our nation.
Now, I don’t care what you think about Donald Trump as a person. Personally, I see that he is a pretty prestigious member of the elite society, he probably is not a born again believer, he has many personal faults, especially when it comes to relationships. HOWEVER, he has repeatedly boldly and courageously spoken for our rights as a nation, our rights as a people, our rights as believers, and our rights as human beings. He is PROLIFE, and he is pro-religious freedom.
I believe that GOD is using him. God can use a donkey. He can use whatever and whoever he chooses. And apparently he has chosen to use President Donald Trump.
Frankly, i must tell you, that until lately I had no hope for America. I thought it was too late. People have been so unwilling to open their eyes and recognize the truth. As a nation, we have turned our back on GOD entirely. The blood of innumerable millions or billions of babies has been shed here and cries out to the Father. It will take an awful lot to overcome that.
But, I KNOW GOD… and I know that nothing is beyond his ability. I KNOW how much He loves us. I know that He is moved when people cry out to him earnestly, humbly recognizing their need for HIM.
IF YOU EVER HAD ANY INTENTION OF PRAYING… NOW IS THE TIME.. We are in a NOW OR NEVER situation. We are like the Hebrews with at the edge of the Red Sea and the Egyptians hot their trail. We are in a no win situation. Without the intervention of GOD Almighty, we are without hope.
That is more accurate than you can imagine, because those who are working to destroy us ARE EGYPT spiritually. THEY serve the gods of Egypt. You may not believe in the truth of the bible…but believe me, they do. YOU may not believe in the Ancient gods, but believe me, THEY DO. You may not believe in demonic spirits, but believe me they KNOW THEM, COMMUNICATE WITH THEM and ARE LEAD BY THEM.
This is a spiritual WAR! THE WORLD IS LOSING! Believe me, when the NEW WORLD ORDER comes it will not go well for anyone but the DEVIL. The World has been duped!
Regardless what happens from here, I KNOW that God is with me and HE will get me through. What about you? What about your children? Grandchildren? Your family and friends?
I know that sometimes people have to reach the end of their rope before they cry out for HELP! For some, that last straw is farther, deeper and darker than others. Regardless of your personal limit, I am here to tell you the WORLD has reached its limit. Darkness is becoming so dark, death is all around us and coming to your door. WAKE UP!
IT IS TIME TO PRAY!
Let us thank GOD, for a President that seems to be standing for what is right!
National Religious Freedom Day
Since 1993, the President of the United States has proclaimed January 16 as National Religious Freedom Day, commemorating the Virginia General Assembly’s adoption of Thomas Jefferson‘s landmark Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom on January 16, 1786.
The idea of Freedom of Religion is enshrined in Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that “everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.”
The United States policy is that ‘Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion’(Article 18 Universal Declaration of Human Rights). To advance this policy, the United States marks October 27 annually as International Religious Freedom (IRF) Day.

From its opening pages, the story of America has been rooted in the truth that all men and women are endowed with the right to follow their conscience, worship freely, and live in accordance with their convictions. On Religious Freedom Day, we honor the foundational link between freedom and faith in our country and reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding the religious liberty of all Americans.
Religious freedom in America, often referred to as our “first freedom,” was a driving force behind some of the earliest defining moments of our American identity. The desire for religious freedom impelled the Pilgrims to leave their homes in Europe and journey to a distant land, and it is the reason so many others seeking to live out their faith or change their faith have made America their home.
More than 230 years ago, the Virginia General Assembly passed the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, which was authored and championed by Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson famously expounded that “all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of Religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge or affect their civil capacities.” This statute served as the catalyst for the First Amendment, which enshrined in law our conviction to prevent government interference in religion. More than 200 years later, thanks to the power of that Amendment, America is one of the most religiously diverse nations in the world.
Since I took office, my Administration has been committed to protecting religious liberty. In May 2017, I signed an Executive Order to advance religious freedom for individuals and institutions, and I stopped the Johnson Amendment from interfering with pastors’ right to speak their minds. Over the last 3 years, the Department of Justice has obtained 14 convictions in cases involving attacks or threats against places of worship. To fight the rise of anti-Semitism in our country, I signed an Executive Order last month to ensure that Federal agencies are using nondiscrimination authorities to combat this venomous bigotry. I have also made clear that my Administration will not tolerate the violation of any American’s ability to worship freely and openly and to live as his or her faith commands.
My Administration also remains cognizant of the stark realities for people seeking religious liberty abroad and has made protecting religious minorities a core pillar of my Administration’s foreign policy. Repressive governments persecute religious worshipers using high-tech surveillance, mass detention, and torture, while terrorist organizations carry out barbaric violence against innocent victims on account of their religion. To cast a light on these abuses, in July 2019, I welcomed survivors of religious persecution from 16 countries into the Oval Office. These survivors included Christians, Jews, and Muslims, who all shared similar stories of persecution. At the United Nations in September, I called on global leaders to take concrete steps to prevent state and non‑state actors from attacking citizens for their beliefs and to help ensure the sanctity and safety of places of worship. And, last summer, the State Department convened its second Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom, where our diplomats engaged a broad range of stakeholders in government and civil society, both religious and secular, to identify concrete ways to combat religious persecution and discrimination around the world and ensure greater respect for freedom of religion and belief.
On this Religious Freedom Day, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the precious and fundamental right of religious freedom, both at home and abroad. Our Founders entrusted the American people with a responsibility to protect religious liberty so that our Nation may stand as a bright beacon for the rest of the world. Today, we remain committed to that sacred endeavor and strive to support those around the world who still struggle under oppressive regimes that impose restrictions on freedom of religion.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim January 16, 2020, as Religious Freedom Day. I call on all Americans to commemorate this day with events and activities that remind us of our shared heritage of religious liberty and that teach us how to secure this blessing both at home and around the world.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this fifteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fourth.
DONALD J. TRUMP
Ever since the Supreme Court Ruling removed prayer from our public schools our nations has been on a roller coaster ride into the darkside. Evil has been growing like a huge ball of snow rolling down down a high mountain with a clear route before it.
Our students have been intimidated, bullied and punished for praying in student assemblies, sports events or in their classrooms. Many say that the day that decision was handed down, GOD was removed from our schools.
Thank GOD, we now have a President who supports prayer in schools. He is taking much criticism and political blow back for it. We need to support him and encourage him to continue to stand. We are parents and Grandparents need to become much more vocal about this issue. We cannot allow the voices of opposition rule again.

I have seen some online videos that want to tell you that God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 does not apply today. Let me tell you, GOD ALWAYS responds when people call out to him humbly, recognizing their need for him.
Will God save America? I don’t know. But, I do know that there is power in prayer, and greater power when we pray together. Pray, Praise, Worship and Fasting… those are the weapons of our warfare! They are powerful. GOD inhabits the Praises of His people. Why? Not because he is an egomaniac that needs to be constantly recognized…but because he loves it when people know who he is, what he is capable of and how much he loves us. When we pray to GOD we are recognizing that he is in control. He has the power to change things. He CARES!
Do you think the government cares? The Politicians care? The United Nations cares? The medical Industry cares? The Socialsists/Communists care? If you believe any of that… you are an idiot!

We have a National Day of Prayer in this Nation, it has been proclaimed and recognized by Congress and Presidents throughout our nation’s history. In 1952, President Harry Truman made it a law, and in 1988 President Ronald Reagan amended the law to declare the first Thursday of May to be the National Day of Prayer. We have been blessed to continue this privilege ever since.
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER – First Thursday in May
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the first Thursday in May. This day observance, designated by the United States Congress, asks people “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.”
For many, prayer is an integral part of daily life. Prayer offers a rich connection to our spiritual lives, nurturing our relationships and faith. It also provides comfort in times of crisis or need.
- July 20, 1775 – The Continental Congress issued a proclamation recommending “a day of public humiliation, fasting, and prayer” be observed.
- In 1795 – George Washington proclaimed a day of public thanksgiving and prayer.
- May 9, 1798 – John Adams declared this day as “a day of solemn humility, fasting, and prayer.”
- March 1863 – On March 3, Abraham Lincoln signed a Congressional resolution, during the Civil War, which called for April 30, 1863, as a day of fasting and prayer.
- April 17, 1952, President Harry Truman signed a bill proclaiming the National Day of Prayer into law in the United States.
- President Reagan amended the law in 1988, designating the first Thursday of May each year as the National Day of Prayer.

While it is fabulous to have an official day of prayer, one day of prayer is certainly not enough under normal circumstances. We should all be praying everyday. Even with that, we need to fortify our prayers. We are living under extraordinary circumstances. We need all the prayer we can must.
I have put up some suggestions for resources here, but these are by no means the totality of resources out there. You can find many more. Check out your local area. Look to churches, Christian organizations, check around your area for small home groups. Check the internet, ask your family and friends. If you can’t find a group, start one. ALWAYS pray on your own as well. Or, if you can’t find anyone to pray with just ask GOD.
I read a story once about a pastor who was being held by terrorists in the jungle for an extended time. He said he was missing church so much, especially praise and worship. He said he prayed and made this known to GOD. The following Sunday morning, the entire terrorist camp was awakened to the sound hundreds of bird singing. God had sent countless birds to fill the jungle with praise… and fill the pastors heart with joy.
GOD is GOOD! Let’s Pray!!

AN ARMY OF INTERCESSORS
If you are a new prayer warrior who recently joined Team Expansion Prayer Force, WELCOME! It is our dream for God to increase an army of intercessors for Team Expansion workers serving around the globe. Today is All Saints’ Day, and so we rally our prayers for those who are fighting spiritual battles daily among peoples who are living in spiritual darkness. Give praise to God for all the saints who have gone before to make His Name famous. Praise God for present and future saints who will make disciples among all nations. Pray for boldness, perseverance, and confidence in Jesus to see their reward. “Gather to me my consecrated ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” (Psalm 50:5)Team Expansion began as a prayer movement on the campus of then-Kentucky Christian College in 1978. In 1982, five missionaries headed to Montevideo, Uruguay to start the very first Team Expansion work. In 1983, International Services – the stateside support team for all international workers – was launched and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Between 1985 and 1996, Team Expansion launched multiple new teams, including Venezuela, Ukraine,
Ireland, and Tanzania. In 1997, Team Expansion was invited to move its headquarters to Louisville, Ky.. In June 1997, there were 120 full time missionaries working around the world with 22 different people groups. Teams continued to go into some of the most cutting edge places, including Bosnia and Kosovo. In 2001, there were 199 full-time missionaries, including three brand new works in Italy, Japan, and Louisville, KY., where the workers focused on a huge Hispanic population. By 2002, more than 8,000 people had come to Christ and more than 110 churches had been planted around the world.
As of January 2010, there are more than 300 workers serving in more than 40 countries, including many creative-access locations. Team Expansion has planted about 250 churches and has ushered about 10,000 new believers into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Interwoven into the history of Team Expansion are stories of local churches that have helped mold us, empower us, and propel us forward. Partnering with the local church isn’t a program for us; it’s our heart and soul.
Thus, when recounting the work in Kherson (Ukraine), we would have to talk about Lifespring Christian (Cincinnati, OH). If we were to tell stories from a certain work among Muslims in North Africa, we’d interweave Crossroads Christian (Evansville, IN). Nearly 20 of our missionaries are integrally tied with College Heights (Joplin, MO). The list goes on. As we tell our history, we’re really telling the story of local churches at work through our agency. And that’s as it should be. God be praised.
You can watch a 40-year Anniversary Video about our work — as long as you promise to give God praise for anything He has done through us.

ABOUT US
Intercessors for America (IFA) is a 501(c)(3) ministry organization and was founded in 1973 when God impressed upon the hearts of a group of godly, respected men the necessity of prayer and fasting. The nation was experiencing a plethora of problems. The Watergate scandal, Vietnam War, Arab oil embargo, Roe v. Wade, a growing acceptance of drug use, and other challenges were changing the way Americans lived and thought.
A group of Christians at a teaching conference in Florida focused on “prayer for the nations.” Challenged by the fresh and extraordinary teachings of the conference leaders, Derek Prince and Ern Baxter, a half dozen men were chosen to steward the movement of prayer and fasting for the nation. This group would become Intercessors for America. One of the first activities of the organization took place at a large dining table where John Talcott and his wife, Roselyn, wrote and assembled a prayer letter. This prayer letter was mailed to a group of like-minded people who recognized the need for God to intervene in U.S. governmental and cultural issues. From these beginnings, IFA has grown to impact the masses. Our leadership is comprised of staff and a board of directors, some of whom have been with the ministry since its inception.
Why We Do What We Do?
The average Christian does not have the contacts, time, or energy to keep informed about most issues on national, state, and local levels. More and more, some of these issues appear to deny our freedoms. Others undermine the basic moral fiber of our country. With each emerging concern, we need to seek God’s intervention and guidance for our leaders.
According to national studies, 83% to 90% of Christians pray at least weekly. Through our decades of experience and contacts, we estimate that only 10% of those who pray intercede for our nation and leaders. As God intervenes and works in the hearts of His people, we must continue to unite and encourage believers in effective prayer and fasting for America.
God’s Word instructs us to pray regularly for those in authority over us. According to I Timothy 2:1-4:
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” (New Living Translation)
Intercessor for America informs, connects, and mobilizes intercessors to pray for our nation and our leaders. We desire to reach Christians in churches and communities nationwide with information and tools to unite them in effective prayer.
What Are Our Goals?
- To inform praying Christians about national, state, and local prayer concerns
- To connect Christians moved to intercessory prayer with like-minded intercessors
- To grow and mobilize the number of Christians regularly interceding on national, state, and local issues
How Do We Do It?
- Monthly prayer letters – A First Friday Prayer Letter helps unite and focus Christians as individuals and groups in prayer and fasting. Written from a biblical perspective, the letter contains timely national reports, accounts of revival and answered prayer, inspirational and informative teachings, and provides a First Friday Prayer Focus. Fasting is encouraged during the First Friday observance as a biblical way of humility and intensifying our prayers.
- Weekly prayer alerts – The Informer is sent via e-mail three times weekly. These alerts outline critical issues in our nation’s capital and monitor foreign fronts and national emergency matters. The alert is supplied upon request to individuals, churches, groups, and organizations. Special alerts are also sent as needs arise.
These Scriptures have undergirded the prayer mobilization of Intercessors for America (IFA) since its founding in 1973:
- Matthew 6:6-18 – the pattern of Kingdom prayer and fasting taught by Jesus of Nazareth
- Mark 11:17 – the Church as a house of prayer for all nations
- 1 Timothy 2:1-4 – apostolic mandate to pray for all, and for all in authority, so that there might be good government, peace, a godly society and a release of the gospel
- 2 Chronicles 7:14 – God’s call for His people to repent, pray, and turn from their wicked ways, with the promise of healing for their land
- Ezekiel 22:29-31 – God is looking for even one leader or person who will “stand in the gap” and help avert judgment
- 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 – the weapons of warfare are not carnal, but spiritually powerful to the destruction of demonic strongholds
- Matthew 16:18, 24:14 – the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church as it proclaims the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth.
What We Believe
Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Vision Statement
To see God’s purposes for America fulfilled through sustained prayer and Spirit-led obedience
CONCERNING THE PICTURE OF THE FUTURE, WE BELIEVE:
- God creates nations and tears them down. (Dan. 2:21)
- God’s heart for nations is to bless them. (Ps. 33:12)
- God holds nations accountable for their collective actions. (Mic. 5:15)
- Leaders of nations are subject to God’s will. (Prov. 21:1)
- Solutions to nations’ problems are spiritual, and rest in the hands of the Church beginning with prayer and an utter dependence upon God’s power. (2 Chron. 7:14)
- God gives us the authority to affect the course of nations. (Acts 17:26)
- We must pray for God-fearing leaders (Exod. 18) and that godly government is the result of an effective Church. (1 Tim 2:1-3)
- The mandate of the Lord’s Prayer, “. . . your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven . . .,” is the purpose of God for the government. (Matt. 6:10)
- We can expect results from prayers. (1 John 5:14)
- Fasting takes our prayers to another level. (Matt. 6:16-18)
- The highest form of government is a constitutional republic led by God-fearing leaders placed in power by a moral society led by an effective Church.
- We are expendable only existing to encourage the Church while understanding that someday our organization will no longer be needed. (Mark 11:17)

We believe that the single-most effective tool for improving schools is free and under-utilized: prayer. TWP equips educators to ground their work in prayer, faith, and spiritual practices so that teachers bring their best selves into the classroom and students consistently get the academic and social emotional support they need to succeed in school — and in life.
prayer network
Communing with God is at the center of our education improvement strategy. We pray to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, to show us how to best teach his little precious ones. And when we teachers are down and in despair, God lifts up our heads and moves us forward with a renewed joy and strength. TWP offers educators an opportunity to start TWP chapters at their local school and join a network of praying teachers across the country–and eventually the world. In addition to the resources on this website, we offer a national prayer call on Monday nights 7-8pm CST at 720-820-1447 so that every teacher can start their week in a community of love, prayer, and support.

Praying for Our Kids {Resource List}BY
The Power of a Parent’s Prayer
Stormie Omartian, author of the Power of a Praying Parent reminds us:
“The battle for our children’s lives is waged on our knees. When we don’t pray, it’s like sitting on the sidelines watching our children in a war zone getting shot at from every angle. When we do pray, we’re in the battle alongside them, appropriating God’s power on their behalf. If we also declare the Word of God in our prayers, then we wield a powerful weapon against which no enemy can prevail.“
When I’m at a loss for words or don’t know how to pray,
when I want to pray according to God’s will,
when I want power in my prayers: I find there is no better way to pray than to pray God’s Word right back to Him! That was the foundation of the Pray Truth challenges — praying specific Scriptures for specific people for specific situations.
